Stock Color Rom Camera working on AOSP?

Any chances of us getting the stock camera that came with this phone working on CM or AOSP?
The stock camera app makes the camera work better, IMO. The AOSP camera just seems bad in comparison.
I agree!
I would love to see the stock camera and stock music player from the Color ROM be extracted for use on AOSP/AOKP/CM.
Could this be done? Anyone? Please?

how to extract camera app from s4 ?

Hello, i want to install cyanogenmod but from what i read, camer app sux, so i want to install the samsung stock apk, i haven´t flashed CM, (still have touchwiz) how do you extract an apk from the current rom to install it on another rom ???
the touchwiz camera will not work on aosp-based roms as there are framework variations. the 4.3 camera is working superbly for me. cheers.
The cyan camera is great IMO, only issue I've noticed on some aosp ROM's is the HDR being too dark. Easily fixed by just unchoosing and rechoosing the HDR option. I like the focusing a lot more than the stock camera.

Possible to use G2 camera app in GS4?

I was curious if anyone knows if it's possible to rip just the camera app from a G2 ROM for use in a GS4 running a GE ROM?
I love the Optimus G Pro and the G2's camera. It has ZERO shutter lag, something which I cannot find in any other camera app so far. I used to use the G Pro for work and loved how fast the camera was. Which is crucial when you are trying to take pictures of your child.
So I was wonder if the camera app in the G2 is deeply intertwined in the OS like the camera on the GS4 is, or if all I would need would be the camera APK file.
NO.

Slim camera

Hi guys,
Im using cm but the camera is really poor compared to stock. Im also unhappy with stock camera ports. I beleve that slim rom have a different camera app.. How is this camera? so good as stock? just for photos.
PD: sorry for my bad english.
I ran slim for a little while this week. Camera seemed about par with stock android camera. I'm no expert at all but to me the stock lg camera is the best in my opinion. Low light not as good on slim camera as stock. But love slim overall as a ROM!

Best camera for AOSP

Hi, I really love AOSP roms but the fact that i cant use xcam --> with all its options and recording in Slow Motion is killing me. I dont like the google camera that comes with it. Is there any way to record in slowmo? Or use xcam/lg camera?
