Hi all
Since the lollipop update my Nexus is taking forever to charge, it's soooo slow I'm talking about 5 percent an hour?
Any one else noticed this?
Have you tried charging it while it's off?
Yea that's how I always charge it

I updated from stock kitkat to stock Lollipop then had the very slow charge problem. Took it back to kitkat but the problem has stayed. I even tried a couple of different fast charge kernels but this has had no effect. Anyone any ideas?

Hi All
I've been searching for an answer to this but so far I've come up with nothing. I recently upgraded my Australian GT-P6810 to the P6810XXLPK_P6810OXALPK_XEU fimware using ODIN because I was sick of waiting. Everything went smoothly and the tablet is a lot faster now.
But the problem I'm having is it takes abnormally long to charge now. Takes around 5 hours to charge it from 40% to 100% and when I look at battery monitor widget the most it seems to be charging is +400ma where on HC before I'm sure it used to be up around 1000 when it was charging.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Cheers

Looks like I've fixed it buy upgrading the ICS firmware from P6810XXLPK_P6810OXALPK_XEU to P6810XXLPL_P6810OXALPL_XEU which came out a couple weeks after.
Charging has returned to normal.
Now as it's fixed, thread closed.
I got the official Nexus 4 wireless charger from Google around a month ago. I constantly use Tunein Radio, and like to use JellyDream Daydream Pro when I put my Nexus 4 to wirelessly charge on my desk. I have noticed that my phone will not charge and remain with the same battery percentage for hours, and many times even continue discharging (slower than usual though). I was wondering if this is normal, or if there might be a problem with my wireless charger/phone. My phone is rooted, but I don't think it's the rom that I'm using, because I have tried both Paranoid Android, and AOKP with the same results. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I am having the same issue. All I have changed on the phone is the kernel and have always been on stock rom. It's really annoying because it worked perfectly fine before I flashed kernels. Now I can even flash back to the stock kernel and it will still not work right. Jumps in and out of charging and then finally just stops charging all together and I have a fancy phone stand that does nothing. I'm still trying to tackle the problem but no luck so far.

Yeap, apart from what I said on the main post, I have also experience my Nexus 4 jumping in and out of charging and then not wanting to charge at all.
Maybe you are discharging the battery faster than the wireless charger can charge it? Using tunein radio and daydream will do that.

Hi all,
I have Nexus 4, unrooted, stock only Android 4.4.3
In the last couple of days I noticed something strange, while I charge the phone, the touch screen starts to act quite strange, sometimes I click things and he doesn't do anything, sometimes I try to move between screen and it does the opposite.
When I release the phone from the power cord, everything's back to normal.
Also, the charging became unbelievably slow since update, am I alone here?
Should I try to reset the phone and hope for the best?
Thanks guys,
Fabian
Sounds like grounding issue, but its weird that it started as soon as you upgraded. Are you using an official charger, and have you tried plugging it in to different outlets?

Are you using different charger?
I just downloaded the update and i noticed that my battery life SUCKS right now and the phone charges EXTREMELY slow... has anyone noticed this problem with their s5 after the update??
From around 9:30pm and 100% battery, i went down to 58% by around 11:30pm of constant use... the phone has been plugged in since then and i am up to only 71%
I am hoping that after this charge it holds a little better but this slow charging is no damn good :/
I'll try it out througout the day tomorrow, but right now I am pretty friggin worried, since until now the battery life and charging were amazing...
No issues here. NI2 working fine, rooted. Check your battery stats to find out what app or service is eating the battery & uninstall or wipe its data. Backup & wipe your phone back to stock if needed.
Fine here worked 10 hours yesterday still 70%

Looks like my phone is the same.
It has been 15 hours since it was on the charger and its at 31%.
weird how the first charge after the update drained so damn quick.
False alarm everyone. Sorry for the use less post :/

My phone is happening the same. The phone constantly trying to communicate with cell tower and freezes while I am typing. I flashed fresh a couple of time. I hope that it will be better after a couple of days. Please let me know if there is any setting that I should look into.
Hi,
I have updated to Android 5.1.1 and noticed it took 24 hours to charge to 63% - I've changed chargers and charging leads and no difference. So wondering if there's an issue with the Nexus 10 and Android 5.1.1?
I did a factory reset, but it also didn't make any difference.
The only other thing I thought about was reverting back to Android 4.4 - although would need to get a zip from somewhere?
May tell me if there's a problem with Android 5 or the tablet.
Thanks,
Darren
Im on 5.1.1 lmy48t and using an iPad charger and got it to fully charge to 100%.... Although it took almost 12 hours to achieve that.
I don't want to sell the Nexus 10 so looking for any other suggestions..
