Hey all,
I'm just wondering what people had before the HTC ONE.
I'm thinking about getting this phone myself; I currently have the Galaxy Note 2 and really like a couple features of the new htc. I'd especially like to hear from anyone who is in the same position as me.
Thanks

samsung galaxy note

LG Optimus G. And honestly, it was the best phone I've had to date. Not once I get this beast rocking CM, but even the stock debloated Rom worked flawlessly.

Phone was ok but it ran really hot. Also have an iPhone 5 for work which is practical but boring.
HTC ONE is finally THE ONE!!

IPhone 5, Galaxy Note2. The notes screen was just to dim for me. Plus I didn't like the lag. In the endit was just to
Large for my small hands and the fear of dropping it. HTC one is smooth all the time and screen beautiful.

HTC One X , i'm VERY happy with it, i still keep it after getting the One
HTC Desire (the original), then the Motorola RAZR and now the One. I'm very happy with the One. I actually like Sense 5.

Desire->SGS2->HOX->One, this phone feels like the biggest upgrade, I think I like it even more than my original Desire which sort of started my love for Android and smartphones
Basically all the nexus devices and samsung note 2 and samsung galaxy series until now, i skipped the S4 for this beauty.

HTC DHD, which I had for almost 2.5 years.
Did a great job, survived many roms and still works quite well on JB 4.2.2 (thanks to randomblame). After the soundbuttons fell off, I decided to get the One.
Fantastic phone!!
IPhone 5,note 2,nexus 4, galaxy s4, I still have the note 2 and iPhone 5 plus the one

At least you can download and flash roms and kernels straight from your phone once you got custom recovery unlike Samsung which you need computer and odin

I currently have Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 which is no doubt a great device and has a lot of features and good hardware.
I've always been loyal to Samesong but I want to taste something different.
I'm seriously considering about HTC One but don't know much.
Please give me some advise.. shall I stay or explore another world :good:
What are the pros and cons
If you want the HTC One go for it. Best android phone I have ever used. Camera is great especially at night but you get a purple tint at times though. It's not laggy whatsoever. The ui is attractive where Samsung's is ugly and bulky. I personally like BlinkFeed some people don't like it but you can hide it if you don't. I mean it's all down to preference try it out at your carriers store

Stick the S4. All I can say. You can add a larger battery and you get more extras as a phone. The spec is very similar but with S4 you get SD slot as well and great software support. Not that HTC have new flagship let's see how good they support the One

Hi good morning
I was wondering if I should buy a HTC one m8, or just keep the Samsung s4, is it worth it?
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I believe that HTC didn't offer this much in M8, specially on the battery & camera side.
I have Galaxy S4 and to be honest I can't find a smartphone now in the market deserve to upgrade to.
keep s4 and wait for the second half of this year flagships , maybe they will make a difference.
Keep the S4 if you are happy with it. The current flagships don't offer much to me personally to justify upgrading. I'll wait until the second half for the likes of the G3 and Note 4 and Z3 etc.

Stay with s4.

Hi all,
I am very new to this note 3 section coming from HTC one x.
My question is why roms from android development section(note3) are not working in exynos. Really surprised with it. It's same device still!! Why rom developers not considering exynos device also?

Hi all.. I've had my nexus 4 for quite some time now and loved it..but it's time to upgrade.
Before I got the N4 I was always upgrading to the newest phone but this one stuck with me. A bit too long lol.
I am debating between the s5 and g3.. Will be on t mobile.
Have any of you switched from the n4 to either? Opinions?
Thanks

Had chance to test both of them,.. Lg G3 i would choose,.. Regardless if u r planning to use original rom or custom rom. It feels more confident than Samsung, and another thing, spare parts are around 30% cheaper, at least in my country.

Cause LG over that plastic crap of Samsung any day, if you want that feel of a proper flagship device
LG G3 any day. I had the S4 and it was nowhere near as good as the S4. Go switch to LG!

s5 has plenty of features but google is more of a "clean" phone
I feel like I am getting biased opinions in this matter because the nexus four is part LG so that's why your all choosing the LG G3

But I'm not sure if I want another nexus phone.. I skipped out on the n5. My brother in law has one and it doesn't seem like anything special.

Alright, understandable. Whatever choice you make, I'm sure it will be the right one. Many good devices out there.

My next step is to go to a T-Mobile store and try out both phones

Visited a store today..
Both phones feel very solid. I liked the display on the g3 more but what I hated about it is the volume rocker is on the back of the phone...dumbest thing ever IMO.

I just bought my first Android device coming from a long line of Windows phones. I've handled my friends Galaxy S4s and saw the S5 in store. I ended up purchasing the G3. I gotta say its a slick device.

They took a little to get used to, but they don't bother me. I kinda like how the sides are smooth.
MAY i recommend oppo find 7a if you crave more battery life OR the find7 if you want high performance and more sharp screen on expense of less battery life ? in either case its removable so no worries , its a solid build which kicks lg g3's ass
