[Q] Unlocked Phone for CDMA (Cricket) - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently switched from AT&T to Cricket with my Note 2 and I want to upgrade to a Note 4.
I need help clarifying a few things:
I know that carrier locked AT&T phones work on cricket, but AT&T Note 4 has no development right now.
I would prefer to get the international Exynos version of the Note 4 but I fear that it will not be compatible with CDMA.
( 1 ) If I get an unlocked version of the International Note 4 can I use CDMA carrier?
( 2 ) If I get a T-Mobi version, can I unlock it and set it up for cricket SIM?

Note 3 N900 Version on Tmobile?

I have the Note 3 N900 (Octacore version) on Tmobile and I was trying to figure out If I can use the Roms for Tmobile version of the phone on the N900 or not? Or is there a rom for Tmobile that can work for the N900?
N900 is kind of the least bought Note 3 variation, and so there is little development for it. Other than not having wifi calling and carrier bloat, what benefit would there be to trying a T-Mo ROM? Because of the differences in hardware, I would say that it's not recommended to flash a T-Mo ROM. Also, the point of getting a N900 or N9005 is that you don't want to be tied to any carrier isn't it?

[Q] Verizon S4 Rom or ATT S4 Rom

I purchased a used Verizon S4 today because I couldn't root my 3 year old HTC Desire 4g. I have gained root on the S4 and installed clockwork rom manager. I was wondering if I should Download the Verizon rom (since it is a verizon phone) or if I should download the ATT rom (since I am using ATT network)
I realize that ATT and Verizon use different networks. But with the S3 and S4 a verizon phone can be ported over to ATT since you can choose either Global, CDMA or GSM in the settings, and the Verizon S3 and S4 are factory unlocked. The Sprint and Tmobile S3 and S4 cannot be ported to ATT. I currently have it on the ATT network with no problems. Just need to know what differences are between Verizon Roms and ATT Rom. Are the network and data settings different between the two roms or are there other differences.
Thanks in advance for helping this newbie.

[Q] Sprint Note 3 as a Verizon Developer Edition

From what I understand, the Sprint Note 3 is an unlocked bootloader, yes? does this mean I can use it on Verizon as a "Developer" version - meaning, if I follow beanstown's flashing developer edition steps, would that work.
The sprint phone is an unlocked cdma right? on the same radio bands?
anyone?
no

[Q] Model # on AT&T question

Understand that AT&T has locked bootloader on S5.
Can anyone tell me which model I should buy that will work on the AT&T LTE network but has an unlocked bootloader and can be rooted ? Also understand that there seem to be several variants of S5 available like G900F G906S etc....
Anyone tell me which one to buy ? want to use AT&T but have full control on device.
Thanks
You should but the one from T-mobile it will work with AT&T but you will have to Sim unlock it and you will be able to install roms on it.

Are all S7s regardless of carrier the same spec wise? Flash custom AT&T on Verizon

Are all S7s regardless of carrier the same spec wise? Flash custom AT&T on Verizon
As i understand it the verizon s7 is sim unlocked and if you flash the unlocked kernel on it you can get the LTE bands working
Based on that i would assume i can flash a custom at&t rom on a verizon s7 edge, but i figured i would ask
I am planning on buying an s7 and the verizon models are the cheapest
I will be using it on a GSM based carrier
I'd also like to know this as related to: https://www.reddit.com/r/NoContract/comments/a2lxjr/skype_boom_red_pocket_data_only_alternates_for/
