[How To] Add Widgets to the Note 4 Lockscreen - Verizon Galaxy Note 4 General

I haven't seen this mentioned yet so I thought I make a post about it. There is an Xposed Module for the S5 that allow widgets on the lockscreen, I tried it on my Note 4 and it works fine. The module is "Galaxy S5 Widgets". Hopefully someone finds this useful.

You can only do this if you're using the swipe lockscreen and no security settings correct?

It's removed from the Verizon ROM that I'm using, you should also be able to remove it with the Wanam Xposed module.

You need to have a rooted device to use Xposed.

I think reflashing my rom just for the volume warning is a bit too much.... on the other side I tried decompile - recompile but thats too hard for me !!!
Plus I'm on Rogers and its not the same rom...

You have exactly the same buttons as mine, even the same order, but you do not have the Mobile Data toggle button that I have. Very strange!
Huh, that's odd, why on earth would any rom not have that toggle?

[Q] Note 3 JellyBeans 6 ROM lock screen text

Is there any way to change the default text on the lock screen for the JellyBeans 6 ROM? I would like to get rid of JellyBeans and Verizon on there but can't find it in the options.
I would post in the JB thready but I don't have 10 posts yet.

Yes, with the Xposed Framework and Wanam (in custom settings) you can remove or change the text.

I have tried this along with the requested reboot and yet the text still remains.

I just changed mine and it's working fine. Did you install the framework and then put a check make next to Wanam in the Modules section?

That could be it. All I've done is run the ROM and replace SU. I'll check it later. Thanks a lot.

'N' icon in status bar!

I have disabled NFC and all Android Pay/Samsung Pay apps, and still the 'N' icon still appears every now and then, and it will only go away if I restart the phone.
I notice that after a night of charging that most times I wake up and see the icon. I can't remember another situation when it happens, but I'm not using wireless charging so it's not being used. Does anyone know why this icon appears after disabling NFC, and how I could prevent it from doing so?

Try flashing the optimization script from here to see if it fixes anything . No idea if it will and I don't have this issue so I don't know exactly what is causing it - but just download the "S7_or_S7Edge_Fixes_V15.zip" and flash via FlashFire .

What root method or guide did you use? I found one on here but the steps are a little vague.

Softkeys / buttons remap for navigation bar

Hello,
The original buttons mapping is really terrible on stock rom.
I was searching for a way to modify them to something like on custom roms.
For example : double tap home starts a certain app.
The only app on playstore is not compatible.
The renovate ice mod is really bloated and I don't want to allow root access without knowing what it is doing.
Is there a way to edit the softkeys?

I didn't see any app mentioned. My bad.
Yes. It will work for non-rooted devices, just follow the adb commands, and you should be good.
