I tried factory reset. some system changed. e.g build.prop . it cannot be restore.
But anyone know how to Hard Reset the nexus player.
I need real hard reset for this device.
thanks
There is a reset available via the stock recovery.
Thank you
If you're trying to revert changes you've made to system files, no on-device reset will do that. You'll have to re-flash the factory image from here:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#fugu
so I had to do hard reset so tried to reflash factory image from google
I downloaded it and continue as written in link and here is the result

I tried different USB port but no help, so I had to unzip it as much as I was able to and manualy flash each .img file
that finally worked...so maybe this will help somebody else who wants to flash factory image
I always work from paths that have no spaces in the name.
Extract your stuff to a c:\adb dir and try again.

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy S4 Duos I9502, somehow I can't save any file/picture from internet to Download folder, only original app like Browser is able to save file !!!
Ex : Whenever I try to save an image in Firefox/Chrome, it shows an error as below :
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
What I have tried so far :
- Root the phone and use Root Explorer to check the permission of "Download" Folder, it is --rw--rw--r-, tried to change the "other" to RW but failed.
- Wipe cache/davik code - not solve
- Factory reset/ Wipe data - not solve
- Clean everything and re-flash the stock rom still not succeed ((
Really appreciated If you have any idea on how to solve this problem.
I managed to solve the issue by using Terminal Emulator and put in below commands :
su ->enter
restorecon -R -v /data/media/0

The solution for the problem 1
Create new folder in root of the phone storage name it "media"
Then create new folder in the "media" folder name it "alarms"
Then copy the ringtone that you want to "alarms" folder
If nothing did happen restart your phone
Thanks first one solved. But the second one ? Just cant install translate like a joke it is the app most that i need I wiped cache,dalvik i cleaned with sd maid. Checked phone for files google translate nothing damnn !

I dont have a solution for The google translate problem
But did you tried to download it from external website?
Why not wiping data / factory reset + cache + dalvik cache?
And I remember it happened to me in the past but I dont remember which app?
The important thing is that I was having root access and custom recovery
Then at some point I flashed stock rom
The problem gone
Hello everyone,
I was following this page to root the nexus 6P (ROM build number: MMB29M)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guides-how-to-guides-beginners-t3206928
step 1. “1. How To Unlock Your Bootloader”
done without issue
Issue in step2: “2. How To Install A Custom Recovery On Your Device”
After I installed twrp-3.0.2-0-angler.img, then I press “Power+Volume Down” to get into fastboot, then choose “Recovery” in fastboot, I can’t get into TWRP GUI to install .zip file, I only see the error msg icon (please see pic attached). Then I press “power_Volume UP” to TWRP Command interface but there is no “install” menu (please see pic attached).
Please help, how to get "install" menu in TWRP?
Many thanks

Sorry for large pictures, I should resize them.
What you're looking at there is the stock recovery, which means that the installation of TWRP has called for some reason. Have you tried flashing it again?

Yes, you are right. I re-flash the TWRP and it works.
Thanks man!
im trying to install a custom rom on my mi 9t. its not the first time that ive done this, but now its all gone wrong. I have unlocked the device, flashed twrp, and got the rom/gapps ready to go, but when i go to install it i get 2 errors, "E:unhandled flag: wrappedkey" and "E:unable to decrypt fbe device". and just to make things worse, i came to the brilliant conclusion that the errors were from the old rom interferring with the new one that i was trying to install, so i deleted the system partition and wiped my os.
feel free to call me as many names as you like, so long as you also provide some help aswell haha.
thanks guys

If you have twrp I stalled, then you just need to factory reset in recovery, format partition, flash dmverity, flash ROM and optionally root. There is nothing you could do wrong if you choose proper ROM for your device - each ROM has instruction what you need for it to work properly
Tried to flash TWRP in SM-N9005, But odin says PASS.

Tried go to the recovery to see results, Goes back to the stock recovery.
Device is android 5.0 (Lolipop). Any help appreciated!!
Most likely your bootloader isn't unlocked. Try unlocking it again.
This only happens when ODIN tries to copy the image to the selected sector but the device is locked to use a certain image only in that mentioned sector.
