You can't. You can move them, but the app has to be designed to use the obb's from external SD card. I don't know any program doing that right now.

Without root you can't until app itself design to use obb from sd card

[Q] Move app to SD won't move obb data?

On the latest update with Move to SD feature, when I move a game to SD card, the obb data is still in device storage.
Is this only me?

Hi,
Move to sd feature only moves the app.
Data is still on the internal storage.
In order to get both, you need to be rooted and use FOLDERMOUNT

Move to SD missing

Hello all,
i have a problem here with my samsung y because i want to move apps to SD card but i don't have that option. In the tutorial i have seen there is an option that allow you to move to SD card. How i need to procede? I have root, link2sd and AppMgr III
Thank for help guys
questions belong in the question and answer section
create a 2nd ext partition on your sd card using cwm (note your sd card will be formatted during this process so backup)
then use link2sd to link your apps to your sd card (note you will require a kernel that supports ext partitions)
please search for a guide for link2sd
In link2sd, you can move apps to sd card by clicking on the app>move to sd card

[Q] KitKat 4.4.2 SD card

Hi.
I fixed the SD card, but if i install a game and place the data files in the correct place in the SD card, the game want to re-download the files to the mobile.
Can i fix this somehow? The game doesn't care about the data in the SD card.

How to move OBB files on SD card and link them with the app?

I have tried Samsung's default "move to SD" feature but it only moves the apk files into SD card and it doesn't detect the OBB files if I transfer them to SD as well.
I know there's a solution to this and that is "Foldermount" but I do not want to root my phone until its warranty expires.
So is there any other way to move the OBB files to SD as well as to make it recognizable by the app itself.
Will it work if I make a partition on SD card just like it is done to bring back adaptable storage feature of marshmallow?
Anyone please let me know.
Hope someone can help on this. I've been rooting my other phones but only because manufacturers either take too long or don't update their products anymore. If you hear anything or already found a solution, do share.
I have got the same problem!
I can't move obb to SD by Link2Sd or GL2SD .....
Seems like we need to wait until warranty expires and root it.

Data migration to new SD card

Hi,
I'm planning to upgrade my SD card from 64GB to 128GB.
I see that Android/data folder is full of app folders. I didn't install anything specifically to SD card.
Should I ignore all those app folders or is there a way (or a need) to copy everything to new card?
Thanks!
how can we use the sdcard when installing games with obb files?..mine's running marshmallow..thanks!
