Colors on my SAMSUNG Focus appear
Faded... Washed Out...
Also the Brightness is higher compared to my other SAMSUNG Focus phones
(on every single option...low, medium, high)
It happened some weeks after MANGO update
problem is, I changed PCs after the update,
so I don't have any 'restore' option now via Zune
also tried adjusting the brightness via Diagnosis app, didn't help..
tried resetting, didn't help...
is there a way to fix this issue or perhaps uninstall MANGO & re-install it ?
Thanks
Fixed it?
I have the same problem with my screen (Samsung Focus). My screen recently broke and I got a new one. After installing the new screen the colors look washed and more bright. How did you fix your problem? Anyone have any ideas what I can do?
can...
anyone help with this problem? Washed out colors when replaced the screen. Is it a bad screen or something needs to be calibrated or is the connector not connected right? Any ideas?
Sounds like you got a regular LCD instead of a SUPER AMOLED you should contact the seller of your screen to see what they sent you. Normally AMOLED will be more expensive them LCD screens.
Just checking see if anybody else suffer from this on the Nexus 4, I've only received mine since last Tuesday, and I've noticed on greys there is a very faint horizontal banding of different width going across the screen can't see this on any other colour though is this normal or should i RMA it?.
hello everyone
I have an issue with my i9500 screen.
I installed Display Tester app from Play Store. I run the Defective Pixel Detection test.
In red, green, and blue color, it doesn't have any problem (or it's just my eyes). But, in white color and grey, there's kind of darkish red tint with gradation in upper side of screen. So basically the screen appear brighter in the bottom but darker in upper side. I've tried turning off auto and maximize the brightness, but the problem is still there.
It's very noticeable too in Viewing Angle test.
So anyone have this issue? and (perhaps) the fix?
mine is running on latest OTA update (XUAMDK baseband and XXUAME1 build number)

I've had 2 devices with this issue, I'm pretty sure is a hardware problem so I don't think an update will fix it. You should go for a replacement.
I have the same problem but in the left side of the screen it has yellow tint while in the right side it has pink. I took it to samsung customer service today, they told me we will call you once we take a good look at it.
Same issue with mine
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341740
mine is darker with a pinkish tint on the top half.
It is a hardware problem. Hopefully my replacement phone does not have the problem.
Hi guys,
I have noticed in the dark when using my note 3 in the settings menu the bottom portion of my screen seems to be grey not black. At first I thought maybe this was a software issue so I took a screen shot and zoomed in. When viewing the photo zoomed in the entire screen is grey ish with lines (normal lines had on all amoled screens) When moving the image the greyness does not move which to me says its the screen. However! When using a pixel tester and putting a pure black picture up the screen is perfectly black.
Ideas or thoughts?

That's the way Touchwiz and Gingerbread was originally designed and Samsung kept it this way. This is completely normal and is the software. It's not an issue. It is the same way on my Note 3,Note 2 and Galaxy S II.

Hello to anyone who is reading this.
I am on the T-Mobile D80130b 5.0.1 lollipop stock ROM. I've noticed (even before I updated) the camera and video recording sometimes changes to a yellow hue on the image/video. Mainly does it in slightly less than adequate lighting but the amount of light is still enough to take a good picture because it will be normal and I can see the picture looks fine but it changes to yellow and when I take the photo and look at it it's yellow. Any ideas?
