Hello,
I am asking or giving an idea, for a WhatsApp list for us, owners of SM G900H version of Samsung Galaxy S5.
It seems that we have bought a strange version of device. Because it has an Exynos processor instead of snapdragon.
As an standard user, I bought it in my country and In have no choice to choose any other variant. Now, I found that SM G900H with exynos, doesn't have neither CYANOMODGEN support for their ROMs and now we are expecting to not get Android Lollipop 5 upgrade.
I'd like to propose a WhatsApp list to contact with other 900H owners and share last news about updates, CM, realize of exynos code, etc.

Where did you read Samsung is not going to release Lollipop for the SM-G900H?
g900h will surely get lollipop no matter what.its just matter of time. :highfive:

Don't be so curious. You will definitely get Lollipop. SM-G900H is the Asian variant and also an international version without LTE. It will surely get the update very soon and may be within less than a month.

@MartinBM should be the admin i guess
we will very surely get the Lollipop Upgrade and that is very soon ! 900H will get Lollipop i wish we could get the source code thingies that could make CM work too.. i miss CM so much ;___;

No responses because there are no custom roms, period! You'll see custom roms only when the i9502 is released for other regions beyond China. Looks like we're stuck for now, unless there's someone outside China who loves the i9502 and also knows how to cook a rom. But that's only hoping .... !!

No worry.
We have andvantage over I9500 as I9502 has dual sim capability.
We can flash I9500 and use it's ROMs any time if we feel fedup of chinese ROM.( only cost would be loosing 2nd sim temprarily)
I will be keep on searching for other ROMs for I9502.
Please must post a link into this thread if you come across any ROM for I9502.

Thanks for your contribution. You are correct that the thread is full of I9502 discussion and the first custom ROM but our thread is a bit more specific about links where you can visit and with in maximum two or three pages, get all details about ROM, downloading & It's installation.
If you could be more specific in providing link it would be very nice to all of us.

Development will not be as active (as is to be expected) as on the G900F because most users and devs do not buy the G900H as much. You have to look in the various forums to find a rom for your device. In the mean time you can try to root your device and tinker a bit with it.

There are quite a few existing threads on this subject, with a wealth of information in them. As noted in the reply above, you own a niche device that not many Developers own so it wouldn't be reasonable to expect nearly as many ROMs as you would find for the ubiquitous Qualcomm S5's.
If you look through the forum or do a search, it won't be hard to find the 900H thread that talks about the ROMs that are available for the 900H. The last time that I looked they were mostly debloated, near-stock ROMs. But with root, you can add a lot of mods yourself.

It's not a good habit to expect that everyone else will do your searches for you.
You can do the same search that someone else would have to do to provide a link.

Im waiting my 900H and im already hating it, because of this, this happens to me for not looking into it
i just asume that the international version will be the best, like my previous S3,
so sad right now for selling My S3 for this one

The SM-900H is not supported by CM atm, maybe in the future.

No they don't.
Maybe in the future but as of today there hasn't been a single comment on it from Samsung, no leaks whatsoever nor anything regarding Lollipop for the SM-G900H, k3gxx. They kinda forgot this device exists.

The answer is possible, just have a look at Note3, there was Marshmallows Touchwiz (Note7) ported ROM for this old device even when there wasn't any Official MM released.
When it come to official Nougat, then you better gave up your thought.
I thinks we should have a pinned thread about this.

The Note 3 received MM because the hardware between S5 and Note 3 are close to same so it was easy to port it ( Only 1 gb less and a bigger screen are the differences).

how about instead of being a tool ... you could possibly link a thread or something. OHHHHH RIGHT your going to say use the search option, well let me tell you from my experience with search IF you don't enter exactly the same exact words your searching for to find the exact answer you need it wont help. i.e. in a thread search for n910v ( my model ) it picks up everything BUT the N910""V"".
