Hey guys,
I tried to install 5.0.1 with the OTA I received. After that, the device went into a bootloop.
To fix it I installed the 5.0.0 factory image from Google via Fastboot (worked with flash-all.bat).
But now when it tries to boot I get the google screen and a minute later an Android warning symbol, no boot.
Also tried the 5.0.1 factory image, no success.
Bootloader is unlocked, no recovery used
Any ideas on that?

I also installed the 5.0.1 OTA update and I get the same picture when I turn on my device. I don't have any idea what to do. Please help. I cant get into TWRP recovery either.
edit: I fixed it.. do this (but all your data will be deleted):

If this doesnt work you can flash a stock factory image easily from fastboot again.
Thanks for the help! Flashed the stock another time and let it settle on the charger for a night, Now it's misteriously booting again

Just to throw in my little bit of experience with this. I did the same thing, applied the OTA update and ended up stuck at the same "no command" window each time I power cycle it. I did notice something though each time I went into the boot loader it said the boot option was "recovery". It dawned on me that the thing was somehow stuck with the flag that it needed to boot into recovery mode and not do a normal boot.
So, all I did was power cycle it, let it come up to the "no command" screen and then didn't touch it... fight the panicy urge to do something and just let it sit for a minute or 2. It will reboot on it's own and start normally. Now, to be fair the update won't be installed but at least you're not stuck anymore and haven't lost your data.
I will probably download the factory 5.0.1 image and flash it in order to get it upgraded. I am a little concerned because I started from a wiped device that i had flashed stock 5.0 onto. Hopefully this doesn't become a regular thing with OTA updates.

Exactly the same happened to me with 5.0.2 last night. Stock, unrooted but unlocked N10.
Was almost ready to factory reset it or flash the factory image but as it sat next to me as I was surfing for solutions it just rebooted into system and has been working fine again.
Was fine again this morning but letting me know the update was waiting to be installed again

This is not working for me. It just boots after a minute, then goes to the same screen, over and over.
If I hold down all of the buttons to get into the bootloader, then select Recovery, I just end back up at the "No Command" screen. I had assumed that was the recovery, but pressing power then a volume key did not make the menu appear.
Update: I flashed the 4.4.4 recovery image and now I got the recovery menu to appear. But clicking Reboot System just causes me to come back to No Command. I wiped cache. Same crap.
Update 2: I flashed system, boot, and cache from 4.4.4 and I'm back in business! All of my data is still there.
Update 3: I'm an asshole. I forgot that I rooted my Nexus 10. I really thought that I hadn't done that, but I found a TWRP folder on the SD card as I'm backing up stuff. Damn, I'm dumb. Now that I'm back to stock, I'll see if the OTA works.
Update 4: OTA worked fine after flashing stock. Go figure.

I updated to cyonogenmod nightly 10.2 this morning and it took away my gmail and youtube... so me being a dumby wanted to not deal with that, so i chose to install the earlier cyanogenmod i had on.. 10.1.2? i believe, did that and it was stuck on the start screen... spinning cyanogen mod... got it into recovery mode and factory reset it... this took away all my gapps, so i was bummed when it started working again... so i got home and tried to unroot cyanogen for some reason... out of frustration... followed some guide and it didnt, still had cyanogenmod on it, got past the spin screen, but it was all black and notifications like NFC stopped responding... and then phonecom.android.source stopped etc... nothing worked.. i turned it off tried to go into recovery mode again but its on stock recovery mode now... did a wipedata and factory restore on that and nothing works now just is stuck on the spin screen forever... Is my phone bricked? did i doo too much damage? is there an adb sideload option to put 4.2.2 back on? is it gone forever? PLEASE HELP
Download the stock rom from the Google servers. Extract the zip and connect your phone in the bootloader. Then run the flash-all.bat (assuming you are on windows). This will reflash everything to stock

what jb is your phone? i will help you.
all you need is
1. Nexus 4 Toolkit (download here)
2. Google Factory Images "occam" for Nexus 4(This will wiped all of your data and unroot your dev-ice). I remind you to choose the factory images carefully, "Factory Images "occam" for Nexus 4" and 4.3 is recommended.
yeah you need two of them only.
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PHONE IS IN BOOTLOADER MODE. IF YOU CAN'T GET INTO BOOTLOADER(SOMETIMES WHEN YOU PRESS THE POWER BUTTON FOR A LONG TIME IT WILL SHUTDOWN AND REBOOT AGAIN),SO YOU NEED TO CONNECT YOUR PHONE EITHER TO LAPTOP OR AC CHARGER ADAPTER, THEN PRESS AND HOLD THE POWER BUTTON FOR 10secs THEN YOU WILL FIND YOUR PHONE SHUT DOWN AND IN THE CHARGING MODE. UNPLUG THE CABLE FROM YOUR DEVICE AND WAIT FOR A WHILE(5MINS), UNTIL YOUR PHONE IS COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. AND THEN, GET INTO THE BOOTLOADER MODE (PRESS AND HOLD VOL DOWN BUTTON AND POWER BUTTON TOGETHER FOR 5 SECS. IF IT REBOOT AGAIN DO THE ABOVE STEPS AGAIN UNTIL YOU ARE IN BOOTLOADER. YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT GETTING INTO IT.
1.install nexus toolkit. then select deviec "Nexus 4(LG E960)" and the android build choose "OCCAM-MAKO: ANdroid *.*.* - Anybuild",apply
2.if the dialog box says it want to download something, just ok. it wont take too long
3.nah now.

Hi All,
Little background, I don't own OnePlus 2; I got one from a friend of mine and he already soft brick it, phone turns on and goes to stock recovery with these options (Install form SD, Install form USB, Wipe data and cache, Advanced, Reboot) so i only have these options to work with. Also I can boot into fastboot as well. Unfortunately bootloader is locked and I am unable to unlock it (restricted bla bla bla). So all I am looking for is to restore it back to stock state, just want this dam thing to boot up again. Any help would be nice. I am actively reading up threads on xda and other sites and there is a lot of information. Thanks in advance
If I were you
First try wiping data and cache from stock recovery and try to boot.
If don't work since you have stock recovery you can flash signed full zip, I suggest to grab 2.2.x from next link (don't use beta 3.0)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3209863
If still don't work as last resource try this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3269543
It supposed to be official service images I guess no need to have bootloader unlooked.

I tried again and bam process went through, i got this green message in Chinese and phone automatically boots into recovery mode.
Any thoughts on what should be my next step ?
Edit: the exit button is not active so i was thinking the process is still ongoing, giving another 10 minutes before proceeding forward.
Ok lots of things happened in past few hours.
1. Was able to Unbrick/Recover OnePlus 2 Back to stock 100% via (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/guide-unbrick-recover-oneplus-2-to-t3269543)
2. was able to flash from usb via stock recovery Oxygen OS 2.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-roms-ota-t3209863).
3. Phone was stuck on reboot to recovery so read some ware the use command "fastboot continue" and it worked. was able to boot into android and was able to setup, no problem but the phone was in safe mode.
4. Rebooted the device and back to stock recover. Now need help to get to the rom and bypass the recovery.
Edit: I am able to enter rom every time with "fastboot continue" command. the android boots in safe mode and i am unable to boot normally or even without command.
I think i have narrowed down the issue to broken volume down button. When you think about it, it makes sense. If you turn on the device and press and hole volume down u go to recovery which is exactly what my phone is doing. And when i use fastboot continue command it boots the OS in safe mode which is done when you press and hold volume down while booting. Now I am planning to get the stuck volume down button fixed. If was able to unlock the bootloader i might be able to flash twrp and boot into system from there but alas no luck there.

As suspected the stuck volum down button was the culprit, got it fixed and phone is working like it never had any issue. Pesky little bugger
I tried to do a rollback from Android Nougat to Marshmallow on my VNS-L31C432B370. So I downloaded the Rollback-Package (Intermediate Package) from Huawei website and also the full B160 package. I put the first UPDATE.APP ind dload folder in root of my SD card and the tried holding Vol+ and Vol - keys and then the power key for around ten seconds. The force upgrade screen appeared and applied the UPDATE.APP and restarted the phone however as I have bricked this phone before, I remember that after the first restart there should come a "user reset" process to earse some data! This didn't appear and instead it got stuck on the screen which says bootloader is unlocked and gives 3 options. I waited a little and then restarted the phone with holding the Power key and tried to the same key combinations to redo the force upgrade process, but it just didnt't work! No matter how many times I tried the same thing that took me to force upgrade mode once before, it just doesn't work anymore! I can see that the phone trying to go recovery mode as the boot prompt screen changes from having 3 options to none, but still hangs on your device is now booting...

1. Bootloader was unlocked
2. FRP was unlocked
3. Chinese TWRP was the recovery
I can't make the phone to be detected by fastboot or adb as it apparently doesn't boot far enough to be detected by adb or fastboot! I also have installed the correct adb usb drivers for my device and I have the latest ADB & Fatsboot minimal on my Windows 10 PC!
Last time it took me a frustrating time of 10+ hours to find a way to bring it back to life, now I don't know what to do when the even the force upgrade is not working! I also let the phone to run out of battery and tried again, but still no luck.
P.S: When I try to enter force upgrade mode, it vibrates two times before showing the Huawei logo and going to boot/info screen!
I managed to access the fastboot using the 3 button method in cold boot. Hold the Power key until the screen goes off and then release and hold down the Vol- key and immideately connect the usb cable to PC right before it vibrates or exactly when it vibrates (it's a matter of timing), and bingo you are in fastboot and you can flash system.img, recovery.img, cust.img, cache.img and boot.img from there, but this is not how I revived my phone. I used the 3 button method again when the phone was charged for like half an hour or so and the did the same cold boot trick and I could boot into the force upgrade environment (strangely this still didn't work whitout connecting the usb cable to PC), but it somehow didn't want to read the UPDATE.APP that I had in dload folder on my SD card and wanted to have it from my PC (I just felt it nad there was no indication of it ) so then I installed the DC Phoenix tool and payed 15 euros to be able to inject the complete UPDATE.APP to my bricked phone and the installation went well to 99% and failed, but I rebooted the phone and I could boot normally. Just to make sure I did a factory reset afterwards. Hope this helps.

Can You please explain me a bit clearly about what is the exactly time when we connect device to pc because the device always vibrates 2 times when it startups. And in your case did You connect usb cable to the device firts then connect to pc or connect usb to pc first? Because I see sometime it's really matter where we connect the usb cable first. Last thing I wanna ask: did your phone hold a charge during the brick? Mine doesn't, the led keep blinking red, device charge a little bit and startups then stucking and then turn it off by low battery. It was took me 2 days and I think I need to send device to a repair service until I found your topic, I have exactly symptom as You.

OK I've managed to revive my vns-L23. It was running nougat c605b362 but I kind da grew tired of it having been running c605b120. On nougat, time and time again I attempted to install xposed and otg previllages but that proved futile. So I attempted to try my own method of rollback and that's when I getting stuck on the first boot logo.
You see what I did was...
First I went into twrp and wiped the partition (exclusive of SD card).
Then I started flashing .img files that I had extracted from the update. App of b120 hoping that I wudve rolled back.
After trying to flash system. Img it failed.
Cust.Img also failed.
So I decided to relock the bootloader and try to unlock it again...
The phone immediately got stuck on the first logo and showed no signs of coming out of tht...
For 8 hours I had no hope of restarting my phone, until d battery died and was able to boot into fastboot.
I again unlocked the bootloader but now with a dead battery everything seem grim.
Until I figure it out... The only way to get it back up n running was to flash d same firmware it had before. So viola right back to where I've started...
So.... Is there anyway to roll back vns-L23 from c605b362 to c605b120...
Help...!!
Flash it with " hde flasher " via test point
I apologize if i have posted this in the wrong place.
I have a vs995, I am following the dirty Santa guide in order to unlock bootloader and root.
I am not getting any errors during the process.
After step 2
I am able to successfully backup my bootbackup.img and abootbackup.img to the pc.
the phone reboots and start vibrating (so far so good),
Then i run step 3 in order to flash twrp.
I dont get any errors and this step completes.
However I noticed that it still says that the bootloader is locked.
Then phone reboots, it gets to the verizon logo with the dots moving from left to right, and is vibrating.
I believe that it supposed to say in this vibrating state for like 30 minutes until the home screen comes up.
. However in my case it stays in this mode (vibrating with verizon log spinning) for ever.
I have let it sit like that for hours and nothing happens.
The only way I can get out of this loop is to flash a firmware.
I have tried this numerous times with firmware 13a (VS99513A_04_1205_ARB00.kdz) and 12a (VS99512A_06_1114_ARB00.kdz)
I noticed that I cannot get into recovery, i get that error saying your phone is corrupt and will shut off in a few minutes.
Am I DoiNG sOMething wrong?
Shod I be on an earlier firmware then 12a?
Is there any other way to unlock the bootloader or is there a different firmware that I need to be on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thats pretty much it
It says locked, but if you try and flash/boot something through fastboot, it should let you. TWRP should also be installed if Im not mistaken.
The engineering bootloader reports that it is locked, but it isn't.
Ignore the warning about your phone not booting, and use the key combination to get to TWRP.
Hold vol down + power until the LG logo appears. Immediately release power and then hold power .. never let go of vol down.
Ignore any messages that appear until you are at the factory reset screen. THEN you can release vol down and power. Press vol down to choose yes. You will be in TWRP.
Flash the Alpha ROM for the VS995, and you should be good.

Thank you so much that got me further along.
I was able to flash the latest twrp and superSU
Still having issues with phone vibrating none stop and stuck on the verizon logo.
As expected I am getting that stupid google warning about hte bootloader being unlocked everytime I boot,
Since i cant get the vibrating to stop.
I tried flashing the bootbackup.img but the display was corrupted, so i re flashed the boot1.img and went back to the none stop vibration and being stuck on the Verizon logo.
Per your suggestion I will try to flash the omega rom next

As I recall the vibration is a side effect from unlocking the bootloader with dirty santa and it will stop once you boot into the rom and won't come back until you reboot the phone
Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs
@klute1 if you flash the US996 firmware, but keep the VS995 system, the vibration will stop.

Thanks everyone
I was able to get into twrp then flash Omega rom on it, and get it working.
Thanks again.
I had to re-flash a new kernel to get passed the display issues.
@runningnak3d In regards to the vibration side affect, i saw another thread that if I reflash the backed up bootloader it should fix it.
If this is not correct, can you point me in the right direction or give me some links about flashing the US996 firmware, but keeping the VS995 system. I really dont want to through the data restoration process again since I have over 300 apps.
Thanks in Advance
Greetings, i want to install this ROM but in order to unlock bootloader i have to check "Enable oem unlock" Which as you can see is not available. Anyone knows about this problem or possible fix please?

This is not a rom thread so no idea what rom you're talking about.
You dont need to enable oem unlock because to root most v20s (aside from the h918 and us996) you need to use the dirty Santa exploit which replaces part of the bootloader with a leaked engineering version that doesn't care if it's unlocked or not.
Guide here
Basically rollback to 13a with LG up, do exploit. You may substitute magisk instead of supersu, and I recommend upgrading to the latest twrp afterwards.
Hi all,
I was wondering what anyone can tell me about the problem I've got with my Le Eco Le Pro 3 phone. So, I had access to the phone before I jammed both the volume up and down buttons, which caused me to go into fastboot mode. Initially I would get the trusty ole platform tools and just "fastboot continue" the phone into the regular boot. It worked the first time, but I guess the volume down button was still jammed and I got myself into a little bit of a loop. Now, instead of going into fastboot mode, I go straight into Recovery Mode, which I've had to translate because it was in Chinese. The two options I have in recovery mode are to "clear data and do a factory reset" or "install an update.zip". Now, I instead opted to exit out of Recovery mode by pressing the bottom left option, but it just boots back into Recovery mode. I haven't rooted the phone and I have no usb debugging enabled because the issue sort of popped up outta nowhere. Initially, I probably should have just backed up all the data on the device and not had to go through any troubles, but that's why I'm making this post. I would also like to further note that I do have a lockscreen code, so if that "encrypts" the data (making it harder to get to, I guess) is my only guess.
I read on another thread where I can essentially unlock the bootloader through fastboot mode and then be able to enable USB debugging that way and maybe manually remove the files from my phone and just factory reset it to see if I can get the phone running. I also looked into just straight up factory resetting it, but I would probably have to root it before I do so that I can run a third party tool to get the data after the reset. I'm also quite new to this whole issue but I'm stressed and straight out of options.
I would also like to note that there was a blue light when I had tried starting the phone on the upper right hand corner where it would indicate the battery level. The whole recovery boot loop could have been caused by a battery malfunction, but I do get a response from the device in fastboot mode (so I think the phone is not entirely dead). It also charged up to 100% without issue.
Basically, I just wanted to see what anybody had to say about my problem and if you all have any advice (like how do I backup a phone that is not rooted).
Many thanks in advance.
I've also posted an image with the recovery mode

Did you try to fastboot boot TWRP?
Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk
The phone doesn't have TWRP and has stock ROM. Installing TWRP would require me to OEM unlock it and then flash the current bootloader (thus replacing the original recovery boot). Unless I'm completely wrong and there is a way to install TWRP without losing the data on the phone, then I would love to be enlightened because I'm at my wits end.
I tried charging it to 100% and restarting it but it just leads me to the recovery screen. I'm not entirely sure if the phone volume buttons are still jammed, because that could still be the case.

Fix the buttons the phone should boot

Alrighty, so a little update. I got the phone's buttons removed but it still boots into the recovery mode. The metal button on the side was removed but the button module remains. It's just not jammed any longer, which now begs the question: Why is it still booting in Recovery mode? I am currently charging it to 100% to see maybe it could be bugged with the battery, but that is the update so far. Button module is no longer jammed but we are still booting into the Recovery mode.
Any suggestions would definitely help in my 2 month long battle with this phone.
Btw, I also replaced the screen because the repairman who removed the buttons broke the original one and the new screen responds to all touch.
