White Nexus 4 Bumper on eBay — Is it legit?

Some guy is selling a bumper on eBay. He says he bought it from a carrier and that it is legit. What do you guys think? AFAIK, this is the first one I've seen for sell. I'm tempted to get this and dBrand's white leather vinyl...

He seems to have a receipt so I'm inclined to believe that it's real.

Part numbers on the bar code are different to the black one and hologram looks real so could very well be legit

This guys reserve price is above 24.99. Ask me how I know

Did yours also come with the warranty paperwork underneath the cardboard that holds the bumper up? That may be one of the best indicators of legitimacy, I don't think any of the replicas bother going that far.

Some of the replicas do come with the warranty paperwork. I've bought a couple that have it. Not only that, both the original and the replicas only include paperwork for Australia and New Zealand for some strange reason. If you have a real bumper and a fake one, the most obvious difference is the plastic around the charger port. It's much more refined looking on the real thing, but even still, you need to have a real one there to compare it to.

Not that it means anything, and it easily could be a fake, but the country of origin is Korea, lg is from Korea. Also, I've been around eBay for a lllloooonnnggg time and have found that generally if someone has 100% rating and is selling something of like that and barely making a profit the item is 9.999 times out of 10 as described. If that makes any sense. Generally with ebay, using it as much as I have, you just get a sense that the seller is legit. buyer protection is excellent between PayPal and eBay, so much so, I've been scammed once on eBay, fortunately, it was minor.

Pretty good deal, I would have went with the one for $423.00 also. I was lucky last Christmas and got a new sealed white one on ebay for $385.00 delivered, sometimes when you role the dice you win.

Newegg has a 16gb refurb for $370.

Not really a good deal i think. i bought mine 16Gb wifi refubished ( 100% like new) + bundle (case+ usb connection kit+ extra s-pen) for $360 (after tax) last week.

I just brought the same bundle from best buy yesterday. The tablet looks new but last night i notice there are dusts under the screen. Does your have the same problem or its just me. I don't know if i should return it or not.

It may not be........
I thought mine was also but its not.
I turned off my screen and took a very bright flashlight beam and low and behold there is 2 specks of dust suspended in the coating on the screen.
You can not see it until you shine a very bright light (1000 lumens), blinding light in fact.
So unless something else would happen to my Note i'm not sending it in.

That was exactly what i did. I also found two, one can be seen when screen on, the other one not so much. Is your also refurbished?

Wow, my is refurbished. So i guess i cant complaint. The speck of dust didn't bother me at all, but what bothering me is ive noticed a thin thread, like a hair, about 1 mm long underneath the screen. Its very visible when the screen is on. I guess that's why its refurbished.

I got mine brand new in November and have recently noticed some dust specks under my screen. Only notice when screen is off and in direct sunlight.

I will probably keep the tablet. I only paid 292 + tax for it at best buy and it was bundled with spen, case, and USB adapter. I figure for that price i might as well keep it.

That looks like a bad photoshop job. The paint doesn't match the fiber pattern, not to mention the glow around it.

Trust me...its not.. Especially since I took the pic with my Turbo

my 32gb ballistic nylon has the Verizon branding as well.
Bought it two weeks ago from Costco

only the 64 gigs ballistic nylon don t have the Verizon logo

I have a 32gb ballistic nylon turbo with no Verizon branding.
Granted I got mine a week or two after release.

Bought my 32g from best buy to use with T-Mobile, and they had Verizon branding on the display model. After opening the brand new one that I opened there was no branding at all. I think it was because it was an older model, under status it says assembled on 10/2/2014. I just bought it 3 weeks ago and am happy without the branding.

Obviously it's a new batch. The only interesting question would be, if you have an unbranded version and have to send it in do they send you a branded version? I would be pretty infuriated lol

But exclusive to Best Buy, and our stock is low most of the time (only a few phones per store.) No matter how many times you tell people how great the phone is, a lot of people won't buy it cause it doesn't say Samsung on it. And most likely will also end up being rebranded with the next shipment or two

That blue is so awesome I plan to get mine next week this device is the best out of the 2014 bunch imo just wish it had ois and unlocked bl but I can do without on this device I have many other unlocked rooted devices.

The lack of VZW anywhere on the exterior of my 64GB BN was a nice surprise when I went in to purchase it.
If its got to be there, fine having it on the back since its not the business end of the phone that I look at all the time. What was it, the Note 2 that VZW stuck the logo on the home button, that was too much.

I absolutely love the blue one up above. That is soooo cool!

What color?

I can only seem to find the Titan Gray color in photos and videos. Even if the silver is shown, it isn't shown in detail, so I can't get a good look at it.
So now I'm curious:
What color seems to be the most desired from XDA users? (What color will you be getting?)
I used to always get black phones, but if there's an unusual color, like red, purple, or the Note7's Coral Blue which I have), then I'll get that. I never get gold. I don't know why, but I don't like gold.

Yeah,that's how it was w/T-Mobile's HTC 10 (& previous iterations as well,I believe).
As for LG,we should know something as soon as pre-orders start.
FWIW,the G5 has two color choices,but,at least in my area,on launch,only one color was available/in-stock.
This is the only reason I may pre-order,& AFAICT,there's no way to find out what choices the stores are going to have on-hand on 10/28.

Whatever T-Mobile will have Monday to pre-order.

Silver. From what I can tell in videos it's actually more metallic looking than the get g5. The titan colored v20 also looks darker than the titan g5. I'm really looking forward to seeing them in person hopefully tomorrow.

I have had the Titan colored one since October 29th..... they didn't have Silver in stock when I went to look at it. Just saw the silver yesterday and it definitely looks nice. Now I am having buyer's remorse for not picking/waiting for it..... should I take a hit ($) and trade back in on the silver? Its past 14 days, so I am not sure what Verizon will do if I do that? Are there any polls showing which is selling better: Tittan vs Silver?
