As you changed the partition structure by flashing a pit file, now you may need a pit file from G900FQ to flash FQ-firmware

I'm reading the I need to use a pit file to repartition the phone but my question is, could I use my phone to create the pit file? I successfully flashed it yesterday on mine. If not, where can I get the pit file please?

Pit files are really "last resort" situation. What error are you getting?
What version of odin are you using?
What model of the note4 do you have?
What happened in the first place that got you here?
Have you tried to search for a fix?
What have you tried?
More info is needed mate.
Im also on the hunt for a PIT file. I had to use one on my 9505 a few times after a brutal softbrick/almost hardbrick to recover it.

Well I was trying to flash twrp trough the twrp app. But it failed. And when I wanted to reboot in recovery.. All my phone could do was boot in download mode. So I looked for the latest lollipop firmware from Samfirmware and got an error in odin. Something about the size is too big. 85098<125876 and odin said something about exfat hidden (I'm not really sure anymore). I got my phone back to work by flashing a random pit file I found on my pc. Definitely not a note 4 pit and it failed but for some reason it rebooted back to my 4.4.4 rom as it was before I bricked it. Strange. Cause odin was almost at the end of its flash so I assume some things were flashed...
Odin version 1.83 I guess but I tried it also with 3.04 and same error
I have nite 4 sm-N910F
Searched for a pit file but as I said it was fixed by a failed flash of 4.4.4 original firmware trough odin with a totally different pit file. For some reason it booted up again. So now my phone is back... If I put it manually in download mode... Will I have the same error? Cause yeah it's not bricked... See?
Sent from my SM-N910F using XDA Free mobile app
What that app did was wipe you're recovery... All you would of had to do was flash a twrp/cmw/PHILZ recovery.

Why do you need the partition information table?
have you tried to just flash the tar image?

nowadays tar (respectively odin) flashes won't finish and fail because of different partition layout! it throws an error message at almost the end of the flashing procedure!
@OP:
there would be a fix for avoiding the bootloop after such a failed flash: just reenter download mode an flash a recovery tar!
then the system will boot!
take into consideration that the partition which was wrong in size had not been updated! usually this is the hidden.img which won't matter! the system and boot partitions would have been successful!
Hi All
Thanks for the reply. I need the pit file for flash a vodafone official samsung rom. When i try to flash odin say say me not possible becouse i've a different partition.
Guys, I want to take a doubt . I can install the pit file along with a full stock rom , or e must install the pit file with the rom mounted in parts and re partition marked ?
ps: I am trying to resurrect my phone. Thank you!
The PIT file is flashed together with the stock ROM and the re-partition option ticked.
Try flashing the ROM without the pit file before using the pit file. I have been luck and successfully flashed stock ROMs without ever having used a pit file.

So bro , I already tried so flashing the rom stock put my phone is still locked in the home screen.
I try to activate recovery mode however is only with a blue phrase at the top written : Recovery booting . I think my only case will be resolved only with the pit file with the rom . But I wonder if I can play it with the whole rom or have to partition the rom to install it with the pit file. Thanks for the tip!

You don't have to re-partition anything.
Uncheck everything in Odin, and flash. When flashing is done, remove USB cable, remove battery, replace battery, boot into recovery.

you are flashing the pit file when the stock rom is partitioned ?
No need for a pit file of Odin is able to read the pit information during the flashing process.
