Hi how can i flash CM12 rom after release Alpha 8 on Anzu? They told me that i have to make ext4 partition on sd card. But i don't know how to.

i am using last alpha and its ok...but without gapps
I'm using mardon's cm12 from here http://www.android-hilfe.de/custom-roms-fuer-sony-ericsson-xperia-arc-s/634291-rom-l-cyanogenmod12.html but I got android.process.media has stoped error. is there any solution? my 1st and 2nd partitions on memory card are in ext4 format
1st partition is normal SD storage and shouldnt be ext4! Only 2nd SD partition schould be ext4 it will be used for data.
If you follow the installation steps from the thread it should work. But remember its in alpha stage.

It was my mistake. My both partitions was ext4 and that was a problem. Reformat 1st partition to fat32 and error is gone. Rom is OK. Maybe slow sometimes but it is because my memory card is class4
Is there any solution to change histeresis for auto brightnes? By default start point is to low and display iz almost unusable

1- Patriot Class 10 : ( My default Ram )
Result :
Rom Works In first Boot Very Low & in 2nf Boot Speed Was Better But Still Laggy
Then Today I Buy a New Ram :
2- Toshiba Exceria HD With 30mb/s Write Speed & 90mb/s Read
Result :
Rom Works In first Boot very Great & Without any Lag :laugh:

I know it is in alpha but taking calls are main feature of a phone It is a first thing that should be corrected. What is the point to have working wifi if I can not receive call?

After you Disabled "reverse number lookup in settings" (as Mardon Said ) If delay remained check your microSd speed
I think Because Data is On Sd card it depends on micro sd Write speed
what type of microsd you use ?

Hello,
I have trouble with Incall volume. I set Settings/Sounds/Volume/Voice volume to max, but it seems to work only half to max.
In settings I hear the sound when I set slider to half and more.
Please is there any fix?

My opinion is totally different. There is no free Ram only 25MB. Greenify App is not working on it always getting FC. Lagging and crashing very much. Within 12 hours there were 5 reboots. Not possible to open a heavy App.

This rom is terribly slow and has a lot of problems, yesterday you said that is an "awesome" rom ...

But, Team Taurus, you are doing it wrong. All you do is port roms and fix them up a bit, instead of focusing on ONE rom, and make it ideal for everyday use. Maybe you should priorize your stuff?

With this ROM I'd like to continue the work @achyut started.
I got his permission to start this project a while ago and started building right away.
As for now, the project is still in alpha stage. This does NOT mean that it has bugs, it means that I'm still building it, still testing it, and still trying to complete the ROM.
This is where you guys come in. As my phones screen is broken I cannot test the ROM myself... I'm using another phone right now, so I need you guys to test it.

F.A.QQ: How do I install the ROM?
A: Install custom recovery ( CWM & TWRP ), boot into recovery (vol up+menu+pwer ) and flash the .zip file
Q: I've found an error, what now?
A: Take a logcat of the error and post in the bug report section.
Q: The ROM bricked my phone what now?
A: I'm not responsible, flashing the ROM was your own choice. Try to boot into recovery mode and restore a backup. If that doesn't work, please take your phone to a Service Center.
Q: I want to return to stock, how do I do that?
A: Boot into download mode ( vol duwn+menu+power ) and attach the phone to USB. Flash the stock ROM via Odin. NOTE: Don't remove the phone until Odin says PASS!

There's no support for JaniceP YET.
This ROM is build on janice firmware.
What will happen when i change the tee folder? I use Cm 10.1 for janice and it works fine

all I9070 roms are also working on I9070P you only need to delete the get.prop line and put the I9070P tee folder :highfive:

Well, this version is still the same as Galaxperia v2. Only thing differemt is the Launcher and some small things.
This build was just to test if it boots ( first own rom ya know )

okoko i see the picks that attachment in the others post and looks aweonsome , the xperia interfase is really atractive, this weekend i test your rom , thank for evrething
PD: one Q' in the walkman app, when i listening music in other app like wsp or fb... (the walkman is minimize), walkman appears in the notification bar ok?, but when i pressed pause the music player in notification bar is gone ? or still present... becaue in other mods with the walkman, when i pressed the stop it is close the app

Pressing pause in notification bar stops the Walkman app. I've looked into that but I can't make it stay there... You CAN make it resume from the point you've stopped it via the Lockscreen. Just slide left and music widget will show up.
If you'd test this weekend it'd be great because the theming of SystemUI is almost done!

Ze Master Patch is as you see in the name is a patch but not any patch , it's a magical recovery flash-able zip that makes any cm based rom for the I9505 installable on our phone with some slight modifications which will be covered in the guide later , what this pacakge does is replace or I9505 stuff with our I9295 stuff all libs all binaries and even a boot image etc ... let's continue further .

A good magician never tells his secrets to anybody ... -naaah just kidding- ... it all started when i was bored and wanted to do something so i thought of something special i took the branches of a dev here in this community (will tell you more about him later) and noted the names of the proprietary files and extracted them 1 by 1 and flashed them upon a I9505 rom with a kernel made by the same dev i am going to tell you about annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd voilla i got some roms booting wooopa gammmnam style party in the chair !!.

5. Wipe everything from system to data to dalvik to normal cache

installed it with CM11 for S4
- Wifi still not working
- Bluetooth not working (S4 Bluetooth works with active therefore no need to flash any Bluetooth files)

Edit2: Bluetooth including messaging (Bluetooth map service) works perfectly with original CM11 for S4 files (deleted the /app and /etc/Bluetooth folders from the ze_masterpatch)

But both have some "tweaks" and such, i like more xposed modifying. Can you build a AOSP rom, just with all hardware features working?

I have updated my github with my latest changes.
No sim card atm because "stk" is not include in frameworks (overlay).
Status bar works with my second build, but not parameters.
I haven't tried a lot the ROM, i make debug at boot up.
We must wait a little to have a working phone (just a doubt for RIL).
Remember: no support! No help (ATM)

NP ^^
Build V3 was NOT published because sdcard is not seen (solved in next build) BUT:
-It's a little more stable (little reboot after the first start)
-F2FS used
-BT works
-WIFI doesn't worked ATM
-SIM CARD not seen
-Properties are accessibles
-ALSA kernel drivers must be updated
-i must test/debug anymore, but without wifi it's hard

I am not a developer though, but I want to help. The closest thing I have done close to programming is opening an app and replacing some sounds, fonts and colours. You would know better how I would be helpful to you.
I have one more question, why no one is porting note 5 note 7 Roms. It it that difficult or not much people are using Note 2.

No supports = no informations (cf first post)
It's just a preview, not for all day uses.
Cyanogen hasn't pushed all theirs codes in N!
To see all changes, looks on cyanogen review website. I have made change into kernel (see my git), and revert back many things to have sdcard working (and it works) next build will have wifi ( i hope ).
I concentrate my effort on hardware compatibility with N ATM.

A familly (3 daugters)
A work
Lots of projets in progress.
And to finish, it's just a hobby!
I have not many times to work on CM, and less to work with a team.
I work on the rom in transport, on my phone by ssh connections with my server

Everybody can spend the time that he has.
If you have real interesting to make all working, that is nothing to dissuade.

Its a fully working ROM just based on h2os for optimization and bugs fixing what's not working is quoted in OP version soon..its just beta with all things working ..

Kind of, there's a bit more.. The H2os base is just to make it boot and run on our phone, the rest is MIUI.. Even Cyanogen uses a similar formula, each device has its core base and "Cyanogen" put on top..

This ROM could have big potential if frequently updated. Always wanted MIUI ROM, but X_s port (from MIUI site) with android 4.4.4. version was turn off. BTW @Dhairya is it based on official MIUI global or Chinese port?
