Just got my device yesterday. Second battery cycle and must say I'm pretty impressed. Location services set to on all the time (battery saving).
What are your battery stats like.
P.S. Stock unrooted.

Here is a puzzle. Overall problem statement is that when the battery level is below 40%, the battery drains quickly with minimum wakelocks. In other words, the phone does not "deep sleep" when battery percentage is below 40%.
My definition of "deep sleep" is battery drain slows to less than 1%/hr and this is usually shown in the battery graph as a near horizontal line.
Phone: Samsung i337m (Telus)
ROM: Kitkat 4.4.2 NE1 Odin flash firmware, so everything is NE1.
Other info: Towelrooted, Xposed Framework installed
Below is a screenshot dump of the battery info, BBS, and Wakelock Detector (WLD).
Observe that BBS and WLD are logging since last unplugged at ~1.5 hrs ago. So when you look at the battery info screenshot, please take into account the last 1.5 hr time on the right hand side only. If you look carefully, there isn't too many wakelocks. This is confirmed by BBS and WLD.
Only exception is in the last SS in WLD showing NILS program keeping the screen on for 8 min & 32 sec, which doesn't really make sense.
Check out the last SS for the Poor Battery Drain batch to show that battery drain is much higher at 1.2%/hr over a 7 hour period. This is compared to 0.7%/hr over a similar 7 hour period. The only difference is the starting battery level.
Good Battery Drain SS posted for comparison purposes and to illustrate my point
Based on the above, my only theory is that the battery calibration is off such that below 40% the battery has drained much more than indicated....
Any other ideas or suggestions to fix this problem?

Good Battery Drain
I was thinking of getting this phone mainly because of the better battery, but I couldn't find much information on how much it lasts (SOT/usage) compared to the other Moto G variants.
So, post your battery stats, please!

Got the XT1072 4 days ago, after the first charge i'm on 20% now , light usage, calls, sms, and some browsing, too lazy to up a screen now i'm alredy in bed.
ROM is cm12.1 btw. The Stock rom 5.0.2 was lucky enough to see 1 boot lol.
Nice phone, the only thing i miss is the physical home button to wake up the screen, now i have to reach the power button.
Here you go, this is my battery life on Mokee OS (Release Build)
Really really good battery life.
Stats which do not appear on screenshots :
- 25mn call
- 30-45mn music
- wifi on for 12-15y
- data on (4g/lte) for an hour I guess.
Deep sleep is amazing too
My motorola XT1072 battery averages 1d 16h 46m (9h 0m 60s active usage) on a single charge. Averages 5hr 55mins screen on time in a single charge since March
Do you not use Greenify and Deep Sleep Battery Saver? i'm a light user but get 7-8 days out of mine, 10texts and facebook and twitter for 20mins a day so very light user.
Used Greenify last night at 11.30pm and woke this morning to see the battery at 98% at 9.20am when I checked it, you wont see that on the standard lollipop
Just got the phone today with android 5.0.2 installed, the battery life is terrible, i lost 40% of battery in 2hours!! All i did was install essential apps and surf the net on wifi . Need advice on how to make it last longer, currently planning to root the phone anyway also how long does the battery last when playing emulator games.
Thanks
Give it a couple of days. It's completely normal to use a lot of battery when you are installing/syncing for the first time.
Mine has a very poor battery life now, which replacement battery would you please suggest?
Hi everyone
what dou think about Note 3's battery life?
I'm on Aryamod (n9005) and it's battery life better than other ported roms cause Aryamod most close rom to stock rom.
i also using Dual boot App which is let you swicth between roms. i suggest this app to all of you. i also using xposed modules like greenify, amplfy and hibernation manager. i most be honest that there is no big changes with these modules. my phone's battery draining in 1 day. i don't know what will i do anymore.
i guess kitkat's battery performance was better than lollipop. i was using my phone at least 2 days when i was on kitkat but sometimes i charhing my phone 2 times on lollipop anymore. i doing everything for get longer battery life but as i said before it draining so fast.
i purchased my phone approximately 2 years ago and may be my battery dying anymore. what you think?
can you write your opinions about battery life and kind of these apps?
have a great times with more battery

I changed from Note 3 to s 6 edge plus recently
The battery drops 5% per hour overnight when not in use. If I go to bed with less than 40% battery at night I am sure to wake up with my phone switched off in the morning.
When in use with screen on, the battery drips one percent every two minutes. This is the worst battery life I have ever seen in a phone. I was a long loyal customer of samsung and this is my last samsung phone ever.
Extremely disappointed
Please post your battery stats ? so we can have a better understanding of your problem. I suggest you install 'Doze' which should stop unnecessary apps from connecting to the internet and causing your phone to awake from deep sleep.
Dear Akbar 11
Heres the battery stats....is it normal?
I had the same issue, and as far as I managed to find out, it is a bug in Samsung's kernel. Flashing Arter97 kernel solved the issue for, but do post battery stats from SmartManager. If it says 'Android' or 'Android OS', then you have the same problem many of us do.
I don't think it's a kernel problem. My android OS is very low 4%. Like zoolok said post your battery stats from settings, battery, battery usage
I have the same problem. Battery was great before I flash custom rom. After going back to stock I have big battery draining. I must stay on custom rom. With Audax rom and Skyhigh kernel i have great battery life.
You have either messed up something big or you have an app in the background that is eating up your battery like no tomorrow.
And the reason i say that is because i recently got this battery life on my Galaxy S6 edge+.
And this was taken 2 days ago.
Here i use the CRISSCROSS ROM, AudaxPro Kernel, Greeinify and Samsung's own 'Appoptimizing' feature (same as Doze in Android 6.0).
So my battery life is pretty awesome.
i have problem whit battery lose 25% when i sleep
This is a usual day with s6 edge plus
Any help?

i have this problem battery ... if u fixed it tell me how?
Well I was expecting Google Play Services to be eating your battery (which is quite common) but it looks like your Andriod OS is eating the most battery. I would uninstall Facebook and use the web version it always helps with the ram and battery furthermore, turn off location if you are not using it and check accounts which are being synced. These are the only tips I can give you as I have never seen Android OS drain so much battery.
Since a few days Google Play Store is eating up my battery: I go to sleep with 100% batt and wake up with 50%, if I check batt stats on top I have play store at 45%, with 5h active a d 2h of CPU.
Follows Android system at 5%.
Going crazy why...

You've charged your phone 4 times during that day. I can't see what's the interesting part here.
Hi I recently had a new battery put in my 6p. The original battery was only running at 63% of it's original capacity. That's according to accubattery.
So my question is what steps should I take to ensure the battery was indeed replaced. ( Because it seems like it is really not much better) I wiped the battery stats and use an app called l. Speed for battery improvements. I am running the latest los as of December 1. As of now accubattery reports 70% health. It's been 3 days since I got the phone back and had accubattery running.
Should I give it more time to get an accurate reading?
