Yes it is, I was just wondering if anyone else was one of the original contributors. The first 200 were able to get it for a contribution of $99 and the next 2,000 were able to pick one up for a contribution of$149. I should be getting mine delivered in August as I got a chance to be one of the 2,000 contributors.

Well not sure on the watch, when you go through their slides on the home page they said tree colors instead of three colors. So what does that say about the product?

Its a French company and obviously the sites moderator/creator has a language barrier. They actually have a previous product that has been successful but it was geared towards being used as a workout companion paired with a smartphone.

Just a quick note to all, the Vea team slightly changed their design by using an LG screen which has several people pissed, although I personally still like it.
With that said, if any of you are interested, be on the lookout for some folks selling theirs since they do not want to keep the watch once it has been shipped.

Bought one on ebay and love it. screen is 2" which is great for seeing and it give me all my notifications.

Nice, didn't know they hit ebay already. Got mine in April and I can't complain too much about it, only problem I'm having is that my google account has authentication enabled so the gmail notifications don't work unless I remove the authentication, but otherwise it's pretty nice.
I've been in touch with the founder/owner and asked her if she feels the hardware is capable of carrying the Android 4.4w

[Q] Why buy a one?

Can anyone tell me why I should buy one if I already have a smart phone? I can't seem to see why I would need two devices on me when one works fine already.

You don't need to get your phone out. This means you can quickly see new notifications just by looking at your wrist. Saves time and phone battery and it's very useful. Especially while driving or in other situations where you cannot look at your phone.
You can also send sms, email etc and do other stuff with the watch just by voice. It's not for everyone but I think it's very practical.
You also get all your google now cards on the watch which means (birthday) reminders, calendar, notes, navigation, weather and so on and so forth...
Not to forget the watch looks cool, you can customize it and you can impress other people ^^
There's lots of reasons for the watch but you have to decide on your own if you think it's worth the price as the watches aren't exactly cheap. (I paid 250€ for my phone and 200€ for the watch xD)

So far I love it, very quick phone, the display is fantastic.
Plenty to explore for me and will be having a good play around...

I was thinking of picking one up. How are you finding the camera and overall performance?

Overall performance is really good. The phone is fast.Everyone was saying "its not flagship specs" but you can't tell at all. Its as fast, if not faster than my M9.
The camera I haven't got to test fully but a few test shots looked really good. I believe the trick is to use the 8mp mode but will post some pics when I take some more this week.
The screen is amazing, I cant stop looking at it

Have you tried any games yet? I do play some games on my phone (nothing graphic intensive, just quick casual games). I think I read somewhere that gaming performance wasn't great (this may be just for more graphic intensive gaming). Just tried that game. Yes it works absolutely fine. No slowdown or anything

Thank you so much for trying. I think I'll be placing an order next week. For some reason when I played that game on the HTC10 there was a bit of slowdown. Glad to hear the X is fine. Always preferred Sony phones

on the first day, without sim, it says many times overheating, but now, theres nothing at real use and with sim, sd and connections.
now it is on 42°C after an hour photoshooting

So its worth the money?
In germany its about 600€...which is, in my opinion, y bit overpriced.

Check it on eB..., prices have already come down to around 500 EUR for devices people have received from their carriers (but are unlocked!). So we're getting there quickly

The problem with buying from ebay, that warranty is a problem.

Currently i'm using my Z3C but i'm thinking about upgrading to the X.
I could get it for 420€ in Germany do you think its a good buy for that money?

Check for the official price for it in Germany, then you will know. Different countries have different pricing polices, some countries you will have to pay full prices, whiles others you can get them free or reduced price with a carrier plan.

Not in Germany at least (from where he is). All Sony Repair Center is asking is the IMEI (from which they can tell the age).

[Question] Divoom Aurabox - Modding/Hacking the APK

Hello everyone.
I recently purchased the Divoom Aurabox.
It's actually a Bluetooth Clock/Speaker with a LED panel.
The functionalities and LED Panel are controlled by an APP on the smartphone.
I feel like it's a really poor APP, with not so many options (taking aside the fact that it's poorly designed)
Thought of redisinging it, give new functionalities and making it easier to use.
Has anyone modded/hacked the app or the Aurabox? If not, Is it possible?

And I contacted Aurabox a long ago, to ask them to fix their app. They just replied me in such bad manners. They are ****ing jerks.

Yeah... They were even advertising the Aurabox as if it had features it didn't
When I contacted them, they changed descriptions/images.
And, well, the APP... Is one of the worse chinese-ports I have ever seen.
Just a brightness slider control would make me happy, since the "shake mobile, change into 2 brightness" is not enough. Try to use this with the lowest brightness on a dark bedroom. Impossible to sleep.

I've bought the new Timebox. The device is neat but the software is a peace of crap lol !
What will be nice is that the device itself get an open firmware...

I just got one of these for cheap. I was really hoping there was some way to get custom notifications on it. Does anyone know if there's an app for it?

I've written a small program using RFO BASIC. I've also created a demo video. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post external links here (as a new user). But if you want you can search for bigboss97 (user name) and TimeBox on YouTube. You will find some hacks videos there. Good luck!

I recently read that the TimeBox can record Audio/Morph. Can the TimeBox Mini or its APP store audio clips? As in, can the TimeBox be Bluetooth-ed to a vehicle (hidden inside the vehicle) and monitor the calls, notifications, sounds ect.

Which Smart watch can take most watch faces

Hi, the Only experience I have with smartwatches is No.1 G8, and it only had 3 watch faces, when I changed the rom I can install one extra watch face but I lose phone option. So I am looking to buy a different watch, right now am not interested in any other smartwatch option eg phone calls, camera. Just Bluetooth connectivity and watch faces. Which Chinese watch can you suggest?
