MOTO G
Total XDA Android Development Repository
Hello community! Welcome to the Repository of ROMs of the MOTO G Android Development Forum.
First of all, which ROMs are included here? Well, I just searched and chose the active threads (even if the ROM doesn't have any recent updates, the thread should at least remain active, with constant feedback from users and devs) but this isn't a must. But for no activity in the thread for at least two months will not be listed in the Index/Repository. Please remember, the most important thing is to read the thread of the ROM that you choose, take a look at the benefits, user reviews, bugs, FAQ, etc. and then, flash it.

I forgot your favorite MOTO G thread, forgot to update a thread or a thread is misplaced/unnecessary? I'm sorry. Please send me a PM or quote me in this thread. I'll fix that.
This thread was created to help the users.. For more simpler and easy way to track your favorite ROM/KERNEL
I found a similar thread in general section.
Mods can Delete this thread if they feel so.
Thanks

You shouldn't really include that, it's dead in the water since there are other working ones
There is a similar thread.
I think the faux kernel is a kernel not a recovery lol

Hey everyone out here .I wanna request the devs of this device to please look forward in building roms for moto g 2014 .
A month after the release only a single rom is been seen......hope there is someone who can look into the forum of moto g2
Pointless thread.
I don't know anything about Moto G 2014, from source perspective, but are they released the sources for different things for the device? Or are you here to call out the devs for making wonders in a land without source code?
Also, I remember when I got my Moto G 2013, first, there wasn't even a proper custom recovery image out there, only the superboot from MoDaCo, so patience my friend.
I agree there's no point in begging for developement. People will build if they want and when they want.
I agree dude but there's big difference between begging and requesting.
I now just came to know about the kernel sources not being released ...so devs might close the thread for good.
Thanks for replies friends.

Moto G 2014 will see custom roms after kernel source and lollipop release. Like others stated show some patience. In the meantime you can root and install xposed framework.
I'm a fan of Omni when using Galaxy S1. Now I moved to LG G3 so Can anyone build Omni for G3, please? Im very appreciate :victory::highfive:
First, this is not a ROM request forum. Second, it's generally considered rude to ask a developer to make a ROM. Developers for the most part do this as a hobby, in their free time with no compensation outside of any donations they may receive. You are welcome to start reading and researching how to build your own Android ROM.*

I enjoyed this rom on the moto g 2014 and want to experience it on the moto g 2015 , we have cm12.1, unofficial cm13 and others roms that run on marshmallow too. Just saying this so it helps to port.
Why don't you port it?

I would if I knew how to do it

As far as the development is concerned for this device, many of the developers are trying a bringup! I myself am one of them. For now, I have just got the device to boot!
So, I have made a telegram supergroup for discussion and development of the Motorola Moto G4 Plus, and anyone can join it using the following link :
