Hurrrrrrrrry
Dunno why you care so much?
I owned an N900 until my Galaxy, and I either would be a worthy winner. The N900 was, and still is, a beast, but unfortunately not everyone who ends up with one will ever use it to its full capacity.
Voted galaxy s. Oh yeah hehe

Sorry, but the N900 runs real linux aswell as android. It's a smarter phone... But I voted SGS anyway, would be a shame if it ended up too far behind.

I voted N900, I like my galaxy but find myself reverting to the n900 too many times.
Smartphone championship?
This poll is pretty meaningless. The proportion of people who vote who are in a position to evaluate the relative merits of each phone is going to be tiny. It basically boils down to a "which phone do you have" question. I have an n900, so I'm clicking n900 etc.
Who cares?

True, technically N900 might be the better smart phone, but with SGS you can get a far better "smartphone experience" (due to App support obviously). At the end of the say, isnt that what matters ?
Vote cast for galaxy s!
Pointless voting nokia is going to win purely because they have more users then samsung.
Yeah. No chance of SGS winning here... The Nokia fanbase is too large!
i've a feeling the N900 is going to win
I would have loved to play/get a N900 but damn they are as rare as hens teeth in AUSTRALIA.
Samsung Galaxy S 26.92% (1,518 votes)
getting there
not to be a party popper but the N900 have way over 3000+ fan votes
i we don't have enough SGS fans to reach those numbers

Better community marketing?
Is the n900 really that good???
vote folks!
N900 is such a thick phone how can anyone carry that thing around?? Nokia: 1995 called...they want their phone design back!
Well... If we make it NOKIA VS ANDROID.. Its won! I We need some popular ppl on facebook or twitter to tweet about it, and its done m8s.
Make it a Nokia vs. Android issue? Are you crazy? Practically the rest of the world uses Nokia. Do that and it tips in their favor.

Thats my main question... Cause I really want the Galaxy Note. HUGE 5.3" screen is awesome, but I love the new features coming to the S3, like wireless charging, or taking pictures @ the same time as recording a video. So if some features from the S3 are coming to the Galaxy Note I will get the Galaxy Note cause I love big Screens!

Wireless charging? that require hardware modifications so it is up to you if you want to add that yourself using one of the guides that you can find by searching xda.
About the software, a lot will be ported to the note eventually but don't expect anything to come out of Samsung. They won't be able to sell the new galaxy s3 if you can find most of its features somewhere else ie in the note.

Never going to happen. As the first reply suggests, it would be marketing suicide for the s3 if Samsung gave an older and cheaper product with already brilliantly unique perks (Note) the same software as their latest product (s3).

wireless charging needs hardware mod or something in the backplate to work
So a big no.
Sammobile just posted first S3 rom. Hopefully full TW port should happen soon
Damn... Ok thanks guys that does make sense since tehy do want everyone to move and buy new devices! I hope someone is able to port the Camera over!

Question is what kind of wireless charging is on S3. If there's some kind of dock then this is useless.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk
from what ive heard
wireless charging is only 6inches in radius
not that fancy ^^
i think most other s3 stuff could be ported to note and nexus
hi guys
today i sold my galaxy note and buyed a Galaxy S3
when i touched the Galaxy S3 its very smooth the plastic is very shiney and smooth..and the screen..pfff i have to get used to it..a huge impact!!
its very weird to return to a small screen..but i knew it would be a problem in the future when i buyed the note..
The S3 has a very good screen..very sharp and the device is running extremly smooth no lag no ****....it was like uhmmm my girlfriend leaving when i saw that idiot walking away with my note
but anyway..
Bye Bye Folks i will be on S3 forums from now on

Totally agreed, i has tried my frend.sg3. It really different level in terms of smoothness and speed if compare to our note.
But it is not fair to put the comparison in between note and sg3, since sg3 is quadcore handset.
Im glad you owned a new sg3, for me i will wait for note 2, since the new comming note.confirmed will have better performance in every aspect than sg3 for sure. No doubt at all.
Cheers.

Yeah i'm planning on waiting for the note 2....too lol. I just can't have anything smaller, it's like once you buy a 50+ inch tv you just can't see yourself buying a 32in down the road
if the note 2 comes i will sell the s3 and buy Note 2
( a lunatic android fan huh )
Definitely going to wait for note 2! The idea of going back to a smaller display is out of the question. I don't think that the slightly lag on my note will drive me to buy s3.

After two weeks, i sold it and got my Note back. Couldn't stay with 4,3" screen when i have already had 5,3". True story.

Same here sold my note and got HTC One X but i bought it back and sold the HTC One X.
I really am looking forward to note 2 but due to Samsung's lack in the ICS update on time I probably will switch brands. I mean I will still keep my note and use it for my media like movies TV shows and books (continue using it as a mini tablet) but when its time for an upgrade I probably will just get another phone just not from samsung, unless of course the NOTE 2 has a incredible feature that makes be forget about this entire ICS 'update disaster' from Samsung.

I'll be damn tempted by the GS3 once it has a strong dev community AOSP backing. I like what's going on in terms of AOSP for the Note (especially CM9), but if I can't use my pen, I may as well have a smaller phone (I'm not getting the Nexus because it doesn't have a card slot).
Good for you TS... but for us: we will wait for Note 2
Yup! Me too! am waiting for Note 2!!!

im also waiting for galaxy s3, till now didnt appeared on my country. But i will never sell my lovely white note > will keep it till note 2
Don't know if this is an appopriate place for this discussion. Also, there are only roumors that we can't know if they are true or not. But by what I am reading I think I might like the new specs so much I will simply need to get it. I am not totally happy with Note 3 so the wait is a bit hard . Anyone else?

Me! I'm not a Note3 user, and I'm currently not so happy with my phone. When I looked at the leaked specs, I thought "this is paradise" and, well... [emoji16]
I need you guys' opinions on switching from a phone to a phablet. Can you kindly give me any?
:superhyped:
N9005 might be my last Samsung. We are nearly 10 months after launch and AOSP roms like CM have only just reached a more or less stable phase. I can only imagine Samsung will do anything it can to make AOSP development more difficult in the future.
For the moment I am fine just as my N3 is
Note 4 will see the struggle with Android 5 AND eventually (on some models, not all) with 64-bit Android 5 so I am in no big hurry to pay premium money for being basically a beta-tester.
But you can understand my position better if I say that my N9005 is still on rooted knox-0 stock 4.3 heavily optimized with xposed and similar stuff.
If I do upgrade it MIGHT be on Note 5, and only if there is no truly-open premium alternative.
Not sure yet...

I love my note 3 but I think I'll avoid a note 4 or any future dedicated Samsung phones unless its a google edition. I hate the lack of a daily driver AOSP or close to it.

I don't see how that's Samsung's problem. When we decide to root and flash different recoveries, kernels, ROMS and modems we know we are taking a risk of potentially messing up our phones. The fact that you are having that issue after doing all of those things is not Samsung's fault.
As for the Note 4, i'm probably going to go with the next version of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 if Samsung bumps up the specs a bit. I know they want to keep it as a mid-range device, but it has to be more useable than the current Galaxy Mega.
It's a shame reading that so many people ate unsatisfied with their phones.
Personally I absolutely love the Note 3. I have had it since it was released and it is absolutely perfect for me. There art many positive surprises. The screen in direct sunlight, battery life and how tough and water resistant it is. With my previous phones I was always discovering small problems. With the note I am constantly experiencing small advantages. It was the same story with the note 2.
If a new one will come out though I am not sure if I can resist buying it

Care to elaborate....
I would maybe wait for the Note 4 instead of buying it on release day.
If there was a bigger flagship phone from any other company I might decide to go for it.
Even though I haven't tripped KNOX and on the latest C-RoM, I might want to try something new later. Samsung is just doing the same thing over and over again. Samesung.
Not only Samsung every company is doing same thing. But note series is having more spices. And I am satisfied customer of note series. I am not a big fan of cm or mui because I love pen and camera feature. And my note 3 is fast and better than any other phone..

looks like a bunch of complaints. and silly opinion. the usual price beef... and more opinion. only his points 1, 2, 4, and 5 are valid. the rest is subjective.
I read this earlier and dismissed the entire article. It is clearly written by someone who has a dislike for the product IMO.
People did the same with the original Note and haters gonna hate... They are obviously not cool like me rocking my affordable, slick looking, one handed operating, sweet Note Edge. *shrug*

Read it, seen the same review on YouTube. This is not the device for everyone. My oldest wants my edge, he wants to upgrade in February to get it, youngest, she is happy with my old Note 3. I'm trying to talk my son into the Note 4, I can't let him have the same device as me.
