Folder effect missing? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hello everyone!
Still doing good with my S4 but I've noticed a change recently. Originally, with any folder on my home screen I could hover over it and would separate the icons by a small amount. Sort of like its recognizing my hover. Now they don't do that anymore. I've even checked through all the airview/gesture settings and don't see much of anything for it. Has anyone else noticed this or had this problem? And, if so, was you able to fix it?

wallpaper setting

im a newbie for xda. as previous post stated, the xda exec is a bit SLOW, so far i havent seen any major problem yet. recently i found out that i cant get rid of the ICONS at the left hand side. the best i can do is to get rid of the TITLES of the icons. now the problem is that sometimes it appears back to the ICONS with TITLES and the WALLPAPER is gone as well when i switch between the HOME and SETTINGS.
Im not really sure what is the problem is that. if anyone know how to solve it, pls reply. i think this will be very helpful for other users as well.
Thanks.

[Q] Tweaking taskbar live previews?

I have found this guide:
http://furycomputing.wordpress.com/...-it-easier-to-see-contents-of-an-application/
About resizing the live preview windows, but I was wondering, is it possible to do more with these? Besides resizing, I would like to be able to move them around the screen, mark them as "always on top", keep them open even if they are not being moused over, etc. I find them insanely useful. I have a secondary monitor (a TV) in another room, and they do wonder for me being able to change things on it with the keyboard and what not. The same thing goes if I have something minimized, I can use it to check the status of it.
Another possible solution would be a oversized taskbar that just used the live previews for icons, that would be amazing as well.
Any tweaks/hacks like this? Anyway to play with them?

Lock screen widgets for the s5?

Hi, so try as I may, I can't find a way to add widgets to the S5 lock screen. I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue or if i'm just incompetent?
I'm a little new to android but is this something that might change over time? or is the inability to add widgets to the lock screen something that will never be added? I really valued that element of my old phone and I hate how I can't do that with the galaxy s5.

[Q] Music Player Widget not showing on LockScreen

Hi All
I have looked everywhere to see if there is anything i may have done but cannot find out how this has happened, it just seems to have disappeared, I use the Samsung Galaxy S4 Music Player app, have been used to changing the track in the lock screen, but lately have noticed that this has disappeared.
I have noticed that in My (Settings / My Device / Lock Screen / Lock Screen Widgets) location, the Favorite Apps or Camera has been grayed out and i am unable to select this to be on or off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope that i am posting this in the right thread, and have tried looking on here to see if anyone else has had the same issue, but either am being stupid or i cannot see it. (Just copied this to the Q&A Section but cannot delete from the General.. )
Thanks for your help in advance.
Regards
on a note of this, I just tried using Deezer and that seems to work okay in the lock screen, has there been an update on the Samsung music app that i am unaware of?

Second screen actually on and working but showing only black

Hi there.
Overnight my Second Screen stopped working. I can see it's clearly on but nothing is shown. If I go back to LG launcher I can drag the icons on it, and I can see icons on it. I've also tried to create a new phone account, and second screen actually works fine. I am rooted. How can I actually fix this? Is there something going on with the Signboard provider? I've also noticed that there are a LOT of wakelocks "EventWindowWakeLock" requested by com.lge.signboard since this happened.
