WOW you just way overpaid. You should have at least shopped around, they have been selling for 450-550 all day on ebay. Craiglist too. He got it from the Google I/O event.

It's ok because i had actually pre-ordered it at best buy and $599.00 is retail without tax! So $675.00 shipped and bing.com rebate back is cheaper

if u buy at sprint its $450

being that it comes with a months free unlimited service, he didnt really overpay by that much and he wont have to sign a new contract or renew his original one. not really that bad of a deal if u do the math..............................

Yes. Free unlimited tethering, calls, data, and messaging. Pretty much anything except international calls. The trial runs out June 20 according to the Sprint flier that came with it.

I pickedi t up today at 10AM! First impression when i opened the box was holy **** thats a big screen, so far i LOVE the phone its sleek the screen looks amazing and is SUPER fast absolutely no lag. Now i can have a phone that'll make people with iPhone's jealous!

For what he paid he definitely overpaid. Retail is $450, so he paid $225 to get it less than two weeks early. He could have gotten the hotspot for more than 7 months for the same amount, or put that towards two years of the extra $10/mo. Either way, he better be totally happy with his purchase.

I get mine this Friday. I see you have that Google I/O informational form in your pic. Is that included in the phone's packaging?
The reason i ask is because I asked my seller about that form and he said that he didn't have it. he said that it might be packaged with the phone itself. He never opened the phone's packaging. So I told him that I'd just find out when i receive it.

Well it depends on where he would have gotten the phone from. Sprint $450..you can say he probably overpaid, $500 RS....you can say he overpaid, BB...I don't think he overpaid. i think its a great deal if you think about it.
Free everything for a month, no contract....etc.
And plus I'm sure there will be big shortage of these phones when they release. I stopped at the bestbuy by my house earlier today and the Rep there told me that this is the biggest preorder they ever had. I'm not sure if he was just talking about this particular store or Bestbuy in general. Just like the Incredible and the iPad this will be backordered. And if you think paying $670 is too much ....wait until June 4th
I think if you really want the phone, you saved up for the phone or whatever if you got the money then go ahead and get it. Because getting one on the 4th is not guaranteed.

Not to reign on some peoples parades of cost, but depending on the store, they may not sell you a phone off contract. I Lou of holding out for new customers and upgrades. Happened to me when I wanted a pre had to hold out a month for when online orders came around

Not for me. My family and I are on a 4 line family plan, i'm opening a 5th line to get this at the discounted price that way when my daughters line is up for upgrade (in July) I will just have her plan ported over to the new line and drop her old line so we're back down to 4. I'd rather handle this at a local store/branch just in case any issues arise.

Yep Yeah, that caught my eye too, but oh well, as long as I get my phone i'm good.

With Target announcing a one week delay in launch, and now Costco doing the same, I hope Best Buy still kicks it off as planned on the 21st. Anybody heard anything?

Same here....I called Best Buy Mobile a couple hours ago to see if they could give me an order status and maybe a solid launch date...I got neither. Oh well, I'll follow up on the 21st and go from there. I'm done wondering and worrying

Tmo stores still unsure about 32gb release date?

I went to the nearest retail store today to ask if they knew when they would be getting the 32gb version - all they could guarantee is that they will have the 16gb on the 27th (which supports what the flagship store here told me last Thursday).
They said they haven't been sent a barcode or anything for the 32gb version yet and have no clue when it will actually launch.
Have you guys heard anything different from your local stores?

I doubt they will sell the 32gb in stores. It's a web only purchase though T-mobile website even though they are out of stock at the moment.

Just got off the line with customer service and they said that the 32gb would be available sometime this week in the stores. No clue how accurate that is but she said they typically don't sell off-contract phones over the phone that is more than $350 and that the retail store is my best bet at getting the full retail phone. And she was aware I only wanted a 32gb and not the 16gb.

Okay just called the one in three stores in Colorado that had them in stock (all sold out of course) and asked and the lady said it was a 50/50 of whether or not they would get them in for the 27th. She thought that they would only be sold online. Conflicting stories on both ends so who knows. Hopefully they will get them in stock.

the local non flag ship store told me they would only be getting the 16gb in both colors on the 27th anand wouldn't be getting a 32 any time soon if not are all.

just curious why would you need a 32 gb since you can just add a micro SD card for extra space?

T-Mobile only will be carrying 16GB White/Blue on the 27th.

It really ticks me off that Samsung partitioned it into 12gb/12gb. Now I would have to have three locations to store data. I see why people are saying 16+64 is enough for storage. I don't have to want to deal with 12+12+64 partitions. i don't think there is a way to repartition the internal storage into one chunk at the moment.

I'm not sure now if the 32gb makes practical sense for me with the partitioning.

T-mobile web site is now showing "buy now" for the 32gb models if people are still tracking this.

They told me on the 27th.

i'm currently logged into my TMO account and i'm shopping for new phones for shizzle and giggles: the 32GB phones DO NOT appear for me. the 16GB blue phones do show availability & immediate shipping, but the white version DOES NOT.

yeah. i was using the actual order page for upgrading or buying a new phone for a current TMOUS account. but i see on the page you linked shows the white 16GB available for purchase. but the 32GB phones are also showing "sold out" just like i saw on the upgrade page.

very weird. Chrome lets me add it to my cart but safari shows sold out. I need off contract so I'll have to wait a bit longer it would appear.

Apparently, the 32 GB model will be available online via the Web only—not in stores or via Customer Care. At the moment, it shows out of stock.
And bad news for me and possibly others: because it's online only, those out of contract or on a Value plan will have to pay full price, up-front—no Equipment Installment Plan).

so obviously the google play pre orders havent even shipped yet while others are getting theirs from other vendors. i just want to know to the people who received their tablets if they got the $25 google store credit. people were saying it should be loaded onto your account when activating the tablet for the first time while others are saying its only for google play pre orders. if it doesnt matter and everyone gets it, im gonna cancel my order and try to get it at gamestop

You get it with gamestop, too.
The problem with getting from gamestop is you can't just walk in and buy it. You can order it in for wave 2 which comes in a couple weeks.

some people in the other thread were saying they just went to the store and bought it without preordering so im gonna try my luck lol. hopefully my gamestop will let me do it. btw do you get a card or validation code for the credit or is it automatically applied when you first register the tablet?

The Development section is a bit slow at the moment (posting-wise). Does anyone know if unlocking the bootloader and rooting removes the $25 option when you're on Google Play? I know not everyone here has received theirs yet. Just wondering.

I think that was only available until 7/12, but don't quote me on that.
I would definitively check. I still can't get mine out of the box, not sure where my credit comes from yet.. :victory:

Once I logged into to my Google account the $25 credit was applied, you have to link a credit card however (mine was already linked to my account). As far as just walking into Gamestop and buying without preorder, you can't. Asus only shipped the number of preorders each store made. The store I picked mine up only had 3, 2 of which were mine.

I did not preorder from gamestop. I called a gamestop around me and asked if they had one. They had one left and I left work to go pick it up. I bought it no hassle, though the price tag on it was $99,999 LOL! I was told that I couldn't get the $25 play credit. I just got home and activated my N7 and instantly got an email saying I got a credit of $25 in the play store..
Not only did I get it without preordering, I got the $25 as well too.

I got the credit too when I bought mine at Sam's Club an hour ago. As soon as I activated the tablet, I got an email confirming the credit and the tablet told me I had it as well.

I preordered from google as well. I just got insanely lucky.

i guess its a hit or miss with gamestop. i called a few and a majority of them only have them for pre orders. btw dont bother calling google for cancelling either. after being on hold for almost an hour they said since they are about to ship theres no way they can modify or cancel the current order. you can only return the item once they deliever it to you. you wont pay a restocking fee as long as the box is not open and they will send you a prepaid shipping label for a return.

[Q] when will nexus 4 be shipped to me

Guys one serious question. I am based in Europe and have a friend right now in US who was supposed to fly back on 21st Novermber and thus me and my gf we both sold our phones as he was gonna bring us two nexus4. While now suddenly his return has been preponed to 17th Novermber. So can he order the phones at midnight of 12th November as soon as it is 13th or will he have to wait till morning and most importantly will he be able to recieve them by 16th latest?? Or will they be available in any stores in US at the same price as google store (I heard about LGs debacle in European pricing). So to sum up if he orders as soon as the order is up or so will he get them by 16 or can he buy them in stores at the same price? Bottomline will he be able to buy these two phones for me and my gf at the said price. Now we are really in soup here as both of us are using stone age old phones and have finances ready precisely enough to pay him back euros equivlant to the cost of two nexus4 at USD prices.. Thanks for every suggestion in advance

Google website said 2 days processing time and 2 days shipping from the moment order is placed.. This guy flies on 17th so they have to reach him by 16th... please convince me with some good news else I will have no option but to go on ebay and order some used phone in same price range atleast to shut her up or to put in money allocated to buy my phone for buying her something fancy here and either ways I will be loosing

No its not included, but shipping is fast op, so if you order tuesday morning you should have it by thursday/friday easily, unless there are delays.

2 day shipping from Google, which is the only option, is $13.99 for the Nexus 7. I'd expect about the same for the Nexus 4. When you calculate sales tax, be sure to include the shipping when you do. For some reason Google likes to tax the shipping as well.

Shipping price on the Play Store is $19.99 for all devices. The official policy listed in the Play Store FAQs is that devices are shipped via UPS Two day shipping. If you place an order in the morning, it will ship that day. At least that's what the policy reads here in Canada

Alongside, I read and heard that people only with US credit card will be able to buy the phone so he has worked in US in past and has bank account there so he said he can work something out but then I also heard there is a possibility that google might limit one phone per card/account?
So anyway he has asked me to transfer money for both phones in his account and then he will see.. so my calculation goes as 350+350 + shipping approx 15+15 (in case google limits one order per card so I understand I will be paying shipping on both since both will be ordered seperately) + sales tax approx 30+30. So to sum up, is it safe to assume final cost of phone should not go over 400 USD in any scenario? because then I will be transferring in Euros equivilant to 800USD. (I have screwed him enough in past that now he doesnt even buy me one free beer so he isnt gonna chip in any missing amount
So date and approx money looks ok to you guys? Most importantly, please shed more light on the delievery part as thats the most vital aspect of my supply chain and my gf is still cursing me since she has heard that she may not be able to get her hands on this phone after I have made her sell hers..

Is it true that you can only order with US credit cards? I'm in a similar situation to the OP. I'm travelling to the States from November 22nd - 30th, and was considering having one delivered to my hotel prior to my arrival for them to hold for me as it'd be cheaper than buying from the UK Play Store even with taxes and shipping.
Not sure if it'd be worth hassling some American friends to do this for me on their cards if you need a US based card to have one delivered in the US though...

I bought galaxy Nexus when it was 349$....Without any option you have to pay $387.36.Incl 2 day shipping and taxes (In Texas)

Devices are shipped via UPS standard shipping for Canada, not two-day - http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2411789#CA. It works out to 5-7 days in my experience.
