Hello Friends for a change i sold my Note 3 and Bought Iphone6.
I have taken Backup of all my things through Kies3 . Now i want to Transfer All the data from that backup to my Iphone 6 .
How to do it?
Photos and Video i can simply copy paste or transfer through iTunes but what about contact. How to do that?
If anyone Know Please Advise me.
Sync contacts with Google account then go on iTunes contacts and use Google account to sync to iPhone.

Ask in iPhone forums, because there you can find people that have been there before you.
And who would do such a thing to note 3 ?

Hello everyone !
I have a HD2 and think of getting a Galaxy S - real soon !
I have the following issue and would like to know if there's some app available to help out! (besides the classic Outlook sync and then re-sync on the Galaxy)
Thanks a lot for your time , hopefully there's a similar thread where i can read things like this...if not , feel free to post here !
I've not used it myself yet, but I'm planning on trying Sprite Migrate:
http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/migrate/how-does-it-work-
i did mine via my gmail account, so it was a natural move, as i was already sync-ing with gmail on my windows mobile phone
I have used sprite migrate which is a free app. Worked like a charm. It even migrates your call history.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
If your contacts don't have pictures on the HD2 then you can simply go into standard WinMob Contacts > select all > Beam via Bluetooth to the Galaxy S. (At least its something like that, can't remember the exact menus when I did it on my Touch HD). This method also worked for getting contacts from my girlfriend's Nokia 5800 to HTC Desire.
If you have contact pictures though, that method becomes more of a pain. I had to sync to Outlook, remove all contact pictures, then export each contact as a VCF file which were copied to the SD card and imported into android that way.
Same here when I migrated from HTC Diamond to Galaxy i7500. I was already syncing contacts & calendar with google. As far as I remeber, I followed this guide:
http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=138636
Hope it helps.

mIQ. Worked flawlessly for me switching between devices.
vCard Expert will save all your contacts into a vcf file that can be picked up by an Android phone.
Yooo,everyone,thanks a lot !
I used the Sprite thingy and worked beautifully....i never thought of such a smart piece of software ! Nicely done !
They even offer a complete backup solution software for us rooters / flashers , so , even better !
Morning all, I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of the new Galaxy S4, and as I've mentioned in a previous post I'll be leaving iPhone having used them since iPhone 3g.
Looking to transfer all my my stuff to the new phone, already prepped photos etc and placed them on the SD card I've bought so not problem there, It's the other stuff
Contacts
All SMS messages (important)
Calendar entries, as has 2 years of shifts and appointments in it
Notes
Music..... only just remembered that (should be ok drag & drop?)
Any advise would be great, I've seen some programs for the SMS transfer but don't really want to pay out $39.00 for it

I did something similar for my wife when I weaned off her Apple addiction..
For sms see this post on XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881440
For your calendar you need to set up google sync and sync the ios and google calendars see here http://support.google.com/a/users/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=139206
Music should be a straight copy and paste as long as the tunes are DRM free. Cant help with the notes, my wife didnt use them so I didnt look into it

I recall KIES has an option to extract from the iPhone backup and restores it to the Galaxy? not 100% sure but it seems to ring a bell
I would recommand iSyncr if you use itunes to organise your music (as I do because I once had an iPhone..). It syncs your itunes playlists, including two-way sync of ratings, and works over Wifi. It also copies photos/videos back to your computer, which is handy.
For notes, there is nothing built into Android. I use Evernote (although the new Google Keep looks fairly good). I think that Evernote has import functionality.
For Messages(SMS & MMS) transfer, try a program called Backuptrans iPhone SMS + MMS to Android Transfer. Works fine.

Email should be straightforward, just open the email app on the Honor 7 and input your email address. It should do all the technical stuff for you.
If you have a PC, copy all your photos to that from your Samsung. If you want them back on your phone just copy them across from your PC to your new Honor 7.
For contacts, I normally back them up to google and then when I have a new android device and i first set it up there is an option to sync them. This can also be found under settings>accounts. This might be useful...

I often change my smartphone, so here's my advice :
You should always backup your data on your Google account. Sync all your contacts on google (you can find easy tutorials on the internet), sync all your pictures and videos with Google Photo app, backup your SMS/MMS with "SMS Backup And Restore" app, ... This way, you'll be able to change your phone very often, format your phone when you want, and do whatever you like without even thinking about your data. Everything will have a backup online.
Good luck

Hi,
I had a similar challenge. Without rooting the device, Helium backup works mostly. With the paid version, just put both devices to the same WLAN to transfer stuff from one device to the other. Some apps can be restored to the new device (including their settings), others don't. In addition I was also using SMS backup.
After taking the longer route of backing up my contacts to gmail and then from there to the Honor 7, realised that the phone had a sweet little option to simplify it. You have to pair your old and new phones via Bluetooth and then the Honor can act as a car kit to import all contacts from your old phone. Thoughtfully done ☺
How does one "copy" network profiles from one phone to another please
Sara...
This is wow feature in Honor 7. I have successfully imported the contacts from my Oneplus One phone which was complaining to export more than 500 contacts. Thanks a lot for enlightening me with this feature in Honor 7.

+1. Works great.
Thanks guys. I didn't feel like paying for migrating a bunch of texts so decided to start clean. Had transfered my media already.
Thanks for your help!
I just got the Galaxy S8+ and this device is stunning.
I transferred my WhatsApp chats and media files from my old iPhone to new Samsung Galaxy S8+ by following these instructions. You need to pay $19 If you want to transfer more than 20 chats from a single contact in one shot, but unfortunately I couldn't find any free tool/app that can transfer my Whatsapp chats to my Galaxy S8. Thankfully, it didn't ask me to root my device and the whole process was quite easy.

On iPhone, WhatsApp back up the chats in iCloud, no Google Drive.
In fact, cross platform chat backup restores are not possible.

Dude. I asked to Google the term Backuptrans.
It is a cross platform whatsapp transfer application.

I completely agree. Samsung does provide Smart Switch which you can use to transfer your important stuff like contacts, text messages, photos, etc. If your WhatsApp conversations are so much important for you then I guess you can use third-party tools ( http://www.iphone-to-pc.com/transfer-whatsapp-messages-media-files-iphone-to-samsung-galaxy-s8.html ) to transfer WhatsApp chat history from iPhone to your Samsung Galaxy S8. Most of them are paid. Personally, I delete my WhatsApp/WeChat chat history on a regular basis so I don't really care if I can migrate my chat history or not.
Cross-platform WhatsApp chat history transfer is not complicated with the help of third-party tool.
Recommend your try this software to transfer WhatsApp content from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy S8.
Whatsapp has a build in backupfunction with google accounts, right? Should work cross platforms
I found that WhatsApp messages and media can transfer by email. But it is only allowed to get the text WhatsApp messages instead of showing them in WhatsApp chats. Finally, I use the FORecovery WhatsApp Transfer tool to help me, which supports to transfer WhatsApp messages between different devices. Maybe it can do a favor for you as well.
Hey
I was looking for a simple way to import all my WhatsApp data from iPhone to the new oneplus 5 and just can't find something. Does anyone knows how I can do that ?
Thanks !

I am not an iPhone user, so what i say is only theory.
If you backup on icloud and the file/folder structure for the backup is the same as is on android, you could just paste the whatsapp directory into your root android folder and then install whatsapp.
Alternatively, if you have access to the whatsapp folder you could just copy that to your computer and then move it to the oneplus 5.
On Android phones , to migrate whatsapp i simply copy the whatsapp folder after making a current backup on the source phone, moving it to the destination phone and then install whatsapp. it is able to restore all data and media.
Good luck!

Have a look on the comments in there - it's a scam. They tell you to backup to iCloud then delete(!!!!) the app on iPhone (==removing all messages fro the phone) and then magically they say that the android phone will be able to get the backup from iCloud.
In reality they want you to buy the product because it is capable of restoring the messages somehow(which you just deleted them)

thanks, didn't read the comments.
the whole whatsapp iphone to android thing seems to be complicated in general as of reddit. The reddit post/comments show a few solutions though.
Use Wazzap Migrator. I used it like 4-5 years ago when I switched from iOS to Android. Works like a charm.
Code:
https://www.wazzapmigrator.com"
Used iBackup Viewer to extract the ChatStorage.sqlite file from an iPhone Backup I made and Wazzapmigrator to restore it on my phone, did cost me like 3 bucks but worked really well!
Updating that I used wazzzap migrator. I needed to create an iTunes backup then find a software which can extract data from the backup file (this the hard part) . The wazzzap worked like charm (very easy) though cost a few worth-the-money $ for chats and media as well.

ANSWER:
1. Log in and back up your data to Google Drive
2. Download the file from the apple account.
3. Rename the file to match the backup on the google drive account and upload it and "Over Write" it.
4. Re-sync your whats app.
** Just my 2cents.

Dear, you just need a tool of whatsapp transfer like Doctor Telephone iPhone Data Recovery, it has a option which can help you to resolve this problem. Good luck
I've never tried to do this but can't you just set up the in-app backup and let it backup to Whatsapp servers? Then one you install WhatsApp on the new device it should ask you to restore all backup data.
in short, whatsapp is crap. Use telegram instead with smarter people
Yeah, transfer data between iOS and Android is usually difficult for us. Luckily this dr.fone can help to transfer WhatsApp chat history from iPhone to Andorid, including the OnePlus 5.

Hi, up to now it is impossible to transfer whatsapp between iphone and android unless you use some third party software such as wazzapmigrator, dr fone whatsapp for whatsapp, itransor for whatsapp, etc. These software applications can let you transfer whatsapp messages from iphone to android but they are paid software. If you want to know how to operate specifically, you can search a post via google by typing "techtiertips whatsapp from iphone to android"
