Good tool, thanks for sharing !!
:good:
Thank you very much.
No idea if somewhere newer Version of this Tool. :angel:
Looks like this Version have little problem to show correct size in MB... bigger 5000 MB
Tested short PITs of:
SM-Z130H
SM-Z200F
SM-Z300H
User partition size not correct shown... in MB.
But with help of Calculator and blk length...
Best Regards
Just made it a little more nice for the eyes
Since that tiny Korean fix font is not really nice to read.
All changes in detail
Code:
ggsm_pit_viewer
===============
Changes in v1.04:
* replaced Korean Font (3 Glyphs) with Courier New 10
* adjusted listview column widths
* corrected typo: GGSM_PIT_VIWER_v1.03 => GGSM_PIT_VIWER_v1.03
* partition_id changed from 8 to 2 digits (since there will be probably not ever more than 255 partitions)
* In the first line (magic= count= ap_vendor=...) used tabs instead of a space as separator
As I understand, modern Samsung smartphones require verified PIT-files. Does this tool sign modified PIT files?
UPDATE: Just checked. It doesn't sign modified PIT-files
Does anyone know where I can get a PIT-file editor for modern Samsung smartphones?

Is there any en-en dictionary available for topaz?
Hi guys,I just need such a dictionary in cab format Can any1 give a direct link?Much appreciate!
any1 plz help me....thx
I've use Cellosoft's PocketDict v1.2 for many years. It works fine on the Topaz and comes with both Encarta and Webster's dictionaries. It's great having the two - Encarta is up to date but not that comprehensive, Websters is 100 years old and has long definitions - it's interesting to see how the meaning of some words has changed over the years. I tried to find out if anyone "owns" this program, but it seems completely free. If it turns out not to be, I'll remove it pronto... I uploaded the whole lot in a zip file for all you dictionary addicts { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. [Q/Help] WM 6.5.x theming (textbutton color)
Hi guys, I'm very new to theming WM 6.5.x standard themes. I took a standard one and tried to edit them. Pretty easy The only thing I need help is how to change color to the standard text buttons. I found this: http://msdn.microsoft.com/de-de/library/ff599682.aspx I put that REG_DWORD here (as described @ MSDN): HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\<myownthemename> COLOR_BTNTEXT = ffffff (Changing the textcolor to white) BUT: I don't get it to work Does anybody know what I did wrong? { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. try using an app called UI Tweaker, it could change some system values without big problems (it is possible to export and import the schemes to verify every step in the modifing procedure)

How do I change the size of the battery and Wi-Fi icons?
Hey guys, I'm on Jelly Bean for performance, but I'm trying to replicate the looks of Honeycomb the best I can. I just swapped out the Wi-Fi and battery icons but as you can see below, they're too small. I believe I would change the size settings for these icons in the following xml files, but I looked with PSPad and a hex editor, and I don't see any values to change. systemui.apk - drawable.xml and layout-sw600dp.xml and here is the pic: { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Glad to see someone else likes the Honeycomb look. You might need to change the actual drawable for this, I don't think it has a value that can be edited.
Armada, Thanks for the reply. So do you mean the entire folder? I see in res: /layout: battery_low.xml /drawable: stat_sys_battery.xml stat_sys_battery_charge.xml stat_sys_battery_charge_min.xml stat_sys_kb_battery.xml stat_sys_kb_battery_charge.xml but no reference to Wi-Fi. So maybe it is the whole folder... armada786 said: Glad to see someone else likes the Honeycomb look. Thanks to a suggestion by Sonny Sekhon, the problem has been fixed and I now have a fairly complete Honeycomb look on Jelly Bean! Since the images were too small, there was no need to edit any .xml but instead, I just multiplied the size of the drawables by 1.5x. Thanks, Sonny!
Scissors_cut_paper's Navbars for Layers (pic heavy)
OK, so I've been playing with layers for a while now, I've posted these over on g+ https://plus.google.com/106415694371852572975 , and figured I'd create a thread at Xda in case others wanted them. Some of the older one's are xxhdpi only, and are bit on the rough side, if there's enough demand I may revisit, or possibly re-colour some of them if I have time by request. Please enjoy, and feel free to use any of my assets for your own projects, though I'd appreciate a credit here and there. These have all been tested on marshmallow preview 3, though they should work on most layers compatible ROMs. Install by copying to system/vendor/overlay and rebooting. If a layer causes a bootloop, delete it through the file manager in your recovery. I'll try to keep this thread up to date, but my g+ page is the place to look if you want my latest release quickly. { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Roboto font 'fi' ligature removal
Hey, Apologies if I make you unable to unsee what I am about to show you: { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.", "lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow", "lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow", "lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen", "lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails", "lightbox_download": "Download", "lightbox_share": "Share", "lightbox_zoom": "Zoom", "lightbox_new_window": "New window", "lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar" } When I noticed this, it really bugged me: specifically how the dot of the 'i' is joined to the top of the 'f'. What was more annoying is that if the text was bold, ligature was removed. I set out to root my phone and change the system font to something better. However, do not be fooled like me! Changing the system font is not an easy decision and even if you do change it, for some reason the lockscreen's time colon gets replaced by a square character. Link to lockscreen colon character issue screenshot In the end, I edited the roboto-regular font using FontForge for mac and removed the 'fi' ligature. Then using a rooted file explorer, I just replaced the originally with the updated one. It initially crashes the phone, but upon restart: you can now rejoice in writing all those 'fi' words. Please see my github for a README and the modified roboto-regular.ttf. Cheers! edited: I had also removed 'fl', 'ffi', 'ffl' glyph's too.
Actually, that's a ffi ligature, not a fi one.
nowster said: Actually, that's a ffi ligature, not a fi one. Click to expand... Click to collapse Ah! So true! I totally forgot I removed the similar ones too. Thanks. I have edited the post above and github to reflect the other glyphs removed. ('fi', 'fl', 'ffi', 'ffl')
