Hi, recenly I found this web http://www.phonedaily.com/eshop/order/?prod_id=1727
but I don´t know how translate it... I am thinking to by the JasJar / Qtek 9000 in some web in Asia perhaps it´s cheaper, you think so?
Thanks
That's a Taiwan website, the quoted price is around US$961, excluding shipping, not much cheaper I would say. Personally I have the Dopod 900 which I bought here in Hong Kong, pretty stable machine so far. Loving it.

I'm in China right now, and I'd like to pick up this cheapish android phone. Will this work with T-Mobile USA?
Also, can I get it at a China mart like in Zhongguancun in Beijing? Thanks!
It should work in USA (support 850 MHz IIRC) when you upgrade it to gen2 (instructions in modaco forums).
中关村啊。。话说 中国行货版本的 ram只有256m。。 哥还想直接在amazon上直购个 orange版本的双512的 机器呢。。你竟然跑到中国买个被zte阉割的卖给中国自己用的汉奸机器。。
You'll maybe not find the phone but I bet there will be a damned good copy
On aliexpress it costs 240$ without ZTE logo or 290$ with logo. Code name is "V880"

By chance, anyone some insights about available colors? Black & white from the start or white one first again? Also, about payment options and from where they are shipping - guessing de,uk,fr or it.

White with 16GB for €399, black with 32GB for €429, free shipping inside the EU I believe which is a very good price.

Yep, saw that already and ordered 2 black ones
It's a shame, though, that there are so few colors for the cases available.
This device doesn't support UMTS 900 MHz which is a must-have here in Europe. All current phones sold here support it. Oppo is apparently not 100% prepared to launch this device in Europe. It's not as simple as take a phone that's sold in Asia and just sell it here, other manufacturers have variants for a reason or just make multi-band devices.

This is official info from their page:
http://europe.oppostyle.com/home/8-find-5-white.html (Specifications tab).
It supports 900 MHz only on very slow 2G (edge speed). And in Europe many carriers use 900 MHz for UMTS/3G so all phones support it.
Ordered a black one last night, looks a decent phone for the price.

Just ordered one, black 32gb. It seemed to just be out of stock so it's backordered.
Eagerly awaiting this phone, hopefully it lives up to my expectations.

Thanks for spotting that. Rather odd being as at least as far as the UK is concerned both Vodafone & O2 use the 900 MHz band.
Russian version of this phone include UMTS 900 Mhz support.

Must say I'm struggling to get a response from the CS team on the new euro website. I submitted 2 simple questions on Tuesday morning and no reply as yet so if anyone here can help with these I would really appreciate it:
1. I live in the UK and am curious to know where in Europe they are shipping from. I really want be able to order and receive the phone within a couple of days max and not the 7-23 days they say are standard. I'm expecting and fully willing to pay for this.
2. Does the phone ship factory sealed?
Any help much appreciated
Phil

Did someone in Germany order a Find5 and received it and if so, can you tell me who deliverd it? I got an email from Oppo stating it's been shipped and if I enter the tracking number on the RoyalMail's site, it says it already landed in Germany, but doesn't state who took care of it and no new tracking id either.

Hi all
I would buy this phone and my friend is now in China and then will go to Korea.
Where better to buy? N9005 Snapdragon, Exynos or N900S N900? Chinese.
I hope that some of you advise me.
thanks
Do you know by any chance the price in different countries?

If you have LTE in your area I would recommend getting the N9005 in Korea. China doesn't offer either the N9005 or N900, they have their own variants which all lack google apps

There's a good chance of network frequency incompatibilities if you're going to use an Asian model anywhere else in the world. Not to mention the Region lock, but both can in theory be solved by flashing and rooting.
As for EU prices:
Netherlands €672
Germany €649
Belgium €649
Switzerland 749CHF/€606
(no, I have no idea why the price in the Netherlands is so ridiculously high.
Actually yes I do: It's good old-fashioned Dutch Greed.)

best thing to do always, buy the set where you live, mainly for warrantr purposes, I have taken to dealer 3 different sets in 6 years, If you get yours from china whom are you going to claim warranty if needed? think carefully, luck

buy in HK or TW, there are both N9005 or N900 internatinoal version available, I paid for my N900 32gb black 468 € and I care less about warranty because the first thing when I went home is CF auto... and now very happy about the exynos version does not have region lock or knox trigger - best Galaxy till now

Good thing there's no import restrictions or costs in the EU, then. Even with shipping it's cheaper to order in another country.....
For you Americans complaining about having to pay $300, that's $1133.

Do NOT buy in China, as this will be the locked Chinese version with no play store, etc... Having said that, any phone market in China will also have the HK or international version as well (9005)... so if you're friend is smart enough to be able to identify the international version and make sure he/she doesn't buy the China version, this would be a good move. Prices for import phones in China are often quite keen, but then again this comes down to your friend's negotiating power...
I've always found Samsung stuff in Korea to be more expensive than elsewhere, and a Korean colleague of mine specifically bought his S4 in HK instead of in Korea due to this...
HK probably the best bet though. Note, reason is simply that HK has no sales tax, so is always going to be cheaper than somewhere that does... HOWEVER, some countries allow you to get tax back at the airport. For example, if you buy the phone in Germany, but you don't reside there, just show the tax receipt and the phone to the tax office at the airport and you'll get something around 15% of the price back. Note not all countries do this. China doesn't. Singapore does. HK doesn't need to. I think all of the EU does (as long as you're not an EU resident).
I personally bought my N3 in Australia a couple of weeks ago for AUD 880. I then got around 80 AUD back at the airport (have forgotten exact amount but around 80 AUD) so my actual price was 800 AUD which is 565 EUR / 773 USD. Seoul airport wanted over 1,000 USD for it. HK airport wanted around 900 USD, but note these are airport prices and this was days after launch.
never buy an android device in china, you will find that the google framework/service are all missing, btw i got my n900 in hk.

You bet man, I think I will buy mine from expansys uk .. the price is like 660 euros plus 15 eurs shiping.. its the best deal I found in europe, if somenone knows a better deal please do tell!
The Mate 9 Pro isn´t sold in Germany (and most other middle-European Countries) due to the fact, they do have a exclusivity with Porsche Design.
Only the Mate 9 Porsche Design with 256 GB, a leather case and dual power supply is sold for exclusive 1,395 EUR
The very, very similar Mate 9 Pro with 128 GB is sold - for example - in Denmark for around 760 EUR. With some exporting sellers it is available for 799 EUR incl. transport to Germany.
But: This can´t be the only availability of the Mate 9 Pro - isn´t it?
Even if most Scandinavian merchants won´t ship to Germany (don´t know why, it is all EU), there always is a way using Borderlinx or similar forwarding services. But I wasn´t able to find a seller in Scandinavia in Internet.
Does anyone have an idea where to buy it in Denmark (or Norway or any other EU Country)?
best regards
Dietmar

Try Dustin dk or se, they are the same group as CDON. Also expansys dk is very good and trustful site.
