Hi, is there a way to get my phone to ask me for my sim pin without restarting it?
Samsung note 3.

Hello guys,
my son has a ZTE A7, and he was dumb enough to set lock screen with a complicated pattern which he forgot.
When he tried to unlock the phone, he wasn't able to do it and now it is locked.
He gets a message saying that there where too many failed attempts to unlock the phone, and the it asks for the gmail user and pwd. This would be great if wi-fi or 3g was active, which is not the case.
I've searched and found some ways to unlock the phone, but I'm stuck because phone isn't rooted usb debugging may or may not be enabled.
Any suggestion on how to workaround this? Or does he owns now a nice brick?
Thanks a lot if anyone can give an idea.

I've googled for a hard reset solution and found it: using emergency call just had to do the following:
Remove battery and reinsert it.
Remove memory card
Touch emergency call
Key in *983*987#
dial
Done, problem solved!
I'm clueless on computers! I have kies3 but i cant unlock my phone due to the broken screen :/ any advice?
Need more info.

What do you want to unlock? the SIM lock? the SIM pin? or do you want to get pass the unlock schreen?
If you have usb debugging enabled on the phone you can pull data from the device !!
I just connected my galaxy s5 to Kies, and updated Lollipop to my phone. Now when I start the phone, it first connects me to the network, but in about 30 seconds it drops me off. It's like the phone suddenly doesn't recognize my sim card?
There's not anyone with similar issue?
I finally found the answer myself. If someone has same kind of issue, the answer is to update new bootloader and modem with odin. That did the trick and now everything rocks again =)
Hi, i have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 for my mom, its non rooted, 4.4.2, not sure why it suddently lost the IMEI (check with #*06#) and doesnt recognize the sim anymore, i tried google and stuff but i cant access the *#22745927 and *#7284# so that i can recover the IMEI with NV-items_reader_writer :crying: can anyone know how to enable those without root? Thankyou for your help
Hi all so I recently found my old Galaxy Grand Prime and I can't remember the backup pin or email I had with that phone . When I connect it to my computer a message on the phone appears telling me to unlock before I can access it on my computer so is there a way for me to break into my old phone besides factory resetting it because I do have some old pictures on there I would like to see. Thank you in advance for the help!
