I readed very posts which complained about bad battery life of kitkat update. But i ve encountered opposite. Kitkat update for p602 has just come about a week. And battery life is awesome, i think. Today i watched five episodes of doctor who, and read lots of articles, but i used tablet over 10 hours with a single charge cycle .

Happy to hear that. I realized that the firmware is ND4, releasing April firmware on November Samsung is messing with Turkish customers

idk if p600 fw for turkey released or not but since model number etc doesnt change for p600 you can flash another country stock firmware without tripping knox.

I uploaded it but doesn't worth to keep it then.
Just flashed it yesterday and that new radio seems to fix silent calls and overall voice calls quality for Polish provider Play.
Installed yesterday, and seems more smooth than ever ... less memory used after the reboot (~ 43 mb ) ... this device is really amazing !
I really don t care 4.2.x if remains with this kind of performance

Updated this morning from MC3 (DBT) through Kies (lost root as usual and CF-Auto-Rooted and Triangle Awayed again). Haven't noticed any change so far apart apart from *maybe* (too soon to tell) lower battery drain.
Didn't have any real problem before which needed fixing anyway (aside from the small YouTube annoyance).
Which one should I update, me or mf ? I am on lk7 which is quite an old one

Samsung recently started rolling out an OTA update about the firmware. However the firmware is currently released only for Taiwan and Hong Kong. Hope the firmware will hit other part of the world soon.
Today, many of us in HK/TW received a new update(N7100ZSUENA1) for 4.3 but yet we don't know what's the different. Firmware is provided in the link.

The link above was a week ago but in HK we really only start to get the N7100 OTA today, I have checked all major HK forums many N7100 owner reported to receive update today.

Not really. It rolled out what seems to be a soak test in a couple of territories and has since seemingly pulled it. The german DBT / multi CSC version wasn't even rolled out via OTA only through Kies.
Now it's unavailable on kies leaving users like myself with unbranded German DBT (CSC model) devices completely unable to flash it without downloading it from external sources and using ODIN.
Lollipop 5.0.1 seems to have gone officially into 'limbo' and were all guessing what this means for us. Perpetual wait for 5.0.2 or 5.1 ? Why did they stop rolling it out ? Are they going to fix and update to newer material design contacts/dialer/messages in a new lollipop version ?
Basically we just don't know and as per usual - play the Android waiting game.

I'd rather wait for the 5.0.2 version that the S6 is shipping with than use the current version. Or even better jump straight to 5.1.

you're right. Actually it's getting pretty bizarre. Samsung was hinting a Lollipop release in October 2014 (I know....hinting is no date) That was FIVE MONTHS ago without any information from Samsung. I HAD to install the DBT lollipop rom because my device was working very bad on KK (out of the box lot's of lags/crashes - had it tested but no solution) It's a better now but i'm not happy i'm actually still running a beta.
Right now Samsung is more focused on the s6. We have to wait but it's a bit strange indeed.

Here we are, holding the Note 4, and I don't know about you but I feel very not proud of my flagship phone.
I'm a first time Samsung user but I'm going back to the Chinese. Huawei treats me like a God every time I buy a flagship from them. I bought the note on a drunken whim. I love the pen!
However, is too expensive and I hate feeling like a school-child waiting for goodies.

The 5.0.1 Lollipop rom is apart from some small bugs fine. If it was a soak test, why have they released the sources for it?
What ticks me off so much is the freaking lack of device priority in this update nonsense, not one S5 or definitely any NOTE 3 should be getting this update before the Note 4, we paid the big bucks for it; we should have top priority since it's the newest device (apart from the s6, but still that's far off) . and apparently the Sprint Note 4 is getting the update roll out today when T-Mobile says they haven't even received the update from Samsung yet. This is really starting to tick me off. Next flagship Windows Phone rolls around I'll be out of this game, I didn't have to wait for carrier approval, I just got it plain and simple without wait.
2 us carriers have it now

It has already been said a million times and confirmed by Oculus themselves...The delay of Lollipop has nothing to do with the gear VR...
Those of you who are so eager to get Lollipop while having the N910F variant, just flash the Polish firmware and there you have it...others with the N910G/H will have to wait though.

Because *afaik* 3 mobile UK hasn't released 6.0 for the S5 yet. I am with 3 UK too, but I got sick and tired of waiting so I flashed a BTU firmware (unbranded) and will upgrade to 6.0 as soon as I'm satisfied that the bugs that are holding me away from 6.0 have been rectified.
If i want to flash rom from samfirmware with odin3 ex : uk or romanian unbranded rom is ok or i need something Pda csc?. sory for my english
If your device is running H3G firmware and you are getting good signal where you live, then the UK BTU firmware should also be fine.

now i have Vodafone Ro sim in my s5 and my signal is ok. Aniway i don't understand why samsung not release update for three too ))
It's not down to Samsung mate......
They've made the updates available....that's all they can do.
It's down to the network provider.....
They have to release it to their devices, and for whatever reason, they haven't updated this device yet.....
