Running 5.0 lollipop. ..
I realized how slow it can be at times. My note 3 just did a speed test at 50+ mbps and the shield only got 21 mbps...
It has issues even keeping a steady connection at times.
Any ideas guys? I went to 5.0 as soon as I got it (yesterday) so I'm not sure how it would have performed on kitkat

Have no problems with it.
I can have more than 50 mbps connection and download torrents super fast but then just struggle on super slow downloads on google play. Today I was trying to download Lone Wolf from Google play and finally gave up as it needed more than half an hour for 800 mb.
Does anyone have the same problem?

Yes. I have the same plan and it is not limited to 3G... nor am I receiving the same message you have in that screenshot.
wow, where you live that your getting those speeds?
I live in virginia and i get even faster then those posted.
I get around 2 megs upload, and over 4 megs download at all times pretty much.
that's on 3G using an iPhone 4. =D
When I was watching the live PPV event from UFC last night from my phone I noticed for the first ten minutes it was butter smooth and right after that it got real choppy and lagged for quite a bit. Then 5 to 10 minutes later it would be fine again.
Anyone ever experienced that?
Logged onto ABC GO and tried a few more videos (Glass House) and they were once again butter smooth. Trying to think if it was an issue on my end or the streamers end.
I had to watch the fight on a tripod and on the tv. Looked 300% better on the phone then the tv.
Pretty ghetto I know.

Likely just a glitch. If the phone works fine just chalk it up to that.

Yeah it's happened to me a couple of times over the years after a full battery cycle it should be fine.

Here is mine. If you have any suggestions to get a better result let me know!
Looks like I had something running during the before encryption bench.
It you want the Vallamo results let me Know.
Hmm,
It looks like the phone variant affects the benchmark results ?
When I did the test, I force closed all apps first.
Encryption and Knox where disabled.
My version is the Singapore / Malaysia variant.
Outside of installing my usual apps (Social network, Microsoft Office, Exchange email and Whatsapp...), I didn't do much tweaking.

Using non rooted t mobile device. My handset has dismal LTE speeds tests. , Im comparing figures done to previous galaxy devices and also wifes handset which performs the speeds tests with reasonable results . All done in same place at home. A reboot of the handset works remedies the issue but after about an hour figures get slow again.
Is there a hardware problem on the device in respect to the LTE radio ?
My last two tests. Wifes phone got about 20 down and 7 up on average. My figures are low .
