I have activated Wap of Loop Mobile for my HTC Wildfire(Android).
I called them several times but they told me Loop Wap is incompatible with HTC wildfire. And I found one thread for setting but it is for Windows OS here.
I tried to setup some options but connection fails again. Loop Mobile provide unlimited plan on WAP so I want it to be done. But could not...
Please help me somebody...I want it desperately...
I tried to connect using following settings..
In Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
Loop WAP
APN : mizone
Proxy: 10.0.0.10
Port: 9401
Username:<Not set> (also tried my mb. no)
Password:loop (also tried mmsc, my mb. no)
Server: http://atcafe.loopmobile.in
MMSC: <Not set>
MMS proxy:<Not set>
MMS Port: <Not set>
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 404
MNC: 21
Authentication Type: None
APN type: default
Thanks in Advance....
Can you access the internet using the browser? Also, Android Apps cannot function using WAP. They need GPRS/EDGE or better. (Something along the lines of Vodafone Live and Vodafone Mobile Connect, since I have never used Loop, dont know the terminologies there).
Lastly, try inputting the APN name as www
Thanks for your Quick reply.. Tried www also but its not working..
Yes I come to know about it. But I activated it. so finding way to activate it. Loop has GPRS plan costier than others hopefully will transfer to other nice n/w.
Loop does not provide settings for android.its not compatible.
switch to vodafone or airtel
REply
You can use wap on loop. You will be able to use the browser and opera but not apps.

I'm amazed that I'm a walking wifi spot I was wondering what instruments on this cell phone allows this to happen? Also on the software level too. Also is there anyway to get a front facing camera on this device yet? If not, any ideas I used to browse this forum on a daily basis when nand first came out but have ben up to other things. I know this device is great since it can switch to ashitload of other operating systems. I love hd2 I've had this phone for a year now and still loving it.

Getting a front faced camera would not be possible because it was never built into the phone to start with. It would be nice though!

Ohhh yeah on my gingerbread it has the option as front facing camera then it just shows the camera upside down. Is there a case that has a maneuver thing a mobob that'll have mirrors and create a front facing camera?

I did what you recommend but still doesn't work. I have swap the phone fully with Task29 reinstall the android but still the same problem. Really i don't know what shall i do.
Anyway the protocoll WAP 2.0 i just didnt found.
I had the exact same problem, couldn't get a data connection on the O2 Pay & Go SIM, but here's how I fixed it.
1. Press the menu button > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks > Acces Point Names
2. Press the menu button > New APN
3. Enter the following settings:
Name - O2 Pay & Go
APN - payandgo.o2.co.uk
Proxy - 193.113.200.195
Port - 8080
Username - payandgo
Password - password
Server - (Leave this blank, it should say "<Not set>")
MMSC - ht tp://m msc.mms.o2.co.uk (Take out the spaces, the spam filter prevents me from posting urls)
MMS proxy - 193.113.200.195
MMS port - 8080
MCC - (This should by default be set to "234", if it's not, set it to "234")
MNC - (This should by default be set to "10", if it's not, set it to "10")
Authentication type - PAP
APN type - Internet, MMS
APN protocall - (This should by default be set to "IPv4", if it's not, set it to "IPv4")
4. Press the menu button > Save
5. When you reach the previous menu (Acces Point Names), find the APN you just set up (O2 Pay & Go), and select it.
6. Wait a bit, and your connection should start to work
I got this information from an O2 Customer Support email (PM me and I can forward it to you), and it worked on my device, an HD2 running Typhoon's CM7, with an O2 Pay & Go SIM.

Thanks but i have received on this week 5 email from the o2 support department.
I have had this settings. Anyway i have got the solution for my problem. The problem was so banal: i have had an GPS bar!?!? on my account wich was blocking the acces to the o2 internet service. An o2 guru took off this from my account by online. It was just one clicking him but i was just suffering a whole week with this problem. I was at least 4 different o2 shop nobody could recognize this problem...
Really i don't know how could happend this but now the internet acces working fine on my android OS.

Tmobile Note 4 on ATT network. When I initially got it I called ATT and they set the APN remotely and made sure everything worked. LTE worked perfectly, MMS also worked perfectly.
I ran into some issues with xposed and had to do a full factory reset from recovery. The issue is that instead of getting my MMS as a picture I now get a download button which I have to press to download the picture. It's a major pain, sometimes I get a lot of pictures at a time and to sit there and wait for each to download really sucks.
I called ATT again but this time got a clueless rep. She made me manually change my APN as follows: This didn't help at all. Anyone have any suggestions?
Name: ATT HSPA+
APN: phone
Proxy: not set
Port: not set
Username: not set
Password: not set
Server: not set
MMSC: http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
Multimedia message proxy: proxy.mobile.att.net
Multimedia message port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: not set
APN type: default,supl,mms,hipri
APN protocol: IPv4
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
Bearer: unspecified
Mobile virtual network operator type: none
Mobile virtual network operation value: not set

You are in the wrong forum but try changing the name of your APN to AT&T Next Gen and change the APN to nxtgenphone then make the type default, supl, mms, hipri, admin, internet
I just got my 6p. I am having issues sending MMS messages. I can receive them just fine and regular SMS works as well. I'm on T-Mobile and I've called them to get the correct APN settings. I'm also on Android N. I updated the phone immediately after buying it so I don't have any experience with marshmallow. I've wiped the cache partition and factory reset the device. My next step is to downgrade to marshmallow if I can't find the fix. Any suggestions?
Reboot in to safe mode, then send a MMS in safe mode. Restart the phone and everything should be ok. This Preview 3 is a bit too buggy for me so i reloaded this month's latest version of M. Preview 4 should be much better.
safe mode
Press and hold your phone's power button until Android prompts you to turn off your phone.
Next, tap and hold Power off for a few seconds until your phone asks you to confirm that you want to enter safe mode
I was having problems sending/receiving MMS. It would only send/receive on LTE. MMS would not work on Wifi. This is on Android N DP3. After doing some digging, I created this APN and set it. MMS now works for me.
Name: T-Mobile US LTE
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: Not set
Password: Not set
Server: Not set
MMSC:http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: Not set
MMS port: Not set
MCC: 310
MNC: 260
Authentication type: Not set
APN type: default,supl,mms,hipri,dun
APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN roaming protocol: IPv4
APN enable/disable: APN enabled
Bearer: Unspecified
MVNO type: None
MVNO value: Not set
The APN that I saw on T-Mobile's support site is different than this.
Adding the word "dun" to the APN type did the trick
