it costs only 22 bucks and accepts paypal, I was thinking if i pay with paypal I am safer right ?
Did you try it? If so, how did it work?
I would guess it's not, imei's are blocked for whatever reason so unlocking them unofficially is not a good idea as, changing an imei is actually illegal I've heard.
illegal In Some Countries
It is in the UK I know that much.
I was just wondering if this was ok or not so... any of you can recommend me any other sites i can unlock my phone on other carrier :/ ?
If it's just the sim you need unlocking then there are various avenues you can go down, your provider, ebay, some apps, if it's to unlock a blocked IMEI then I can't help you there.

My luck tomorrow at best buy
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
We already knew it wasn't locked. No matter were you get it, it will work wifi only. The activation is being forced by the place you purchase.

Correct, we knew it wasn't locked, but weren't sure about activation due to BB ad and changes to Galaxy Tab.
I have a pre-order at Bestbuy but called Verizon store and the rep there told me that I don't have to activate it if I don't want. I did tell her that I had a pre-order at BB and that I would rather buy from them anyway. She is holding one for me and with no activation or credit check needed.
I just moved to verizon so it makes more sense for me to trade my international tab with voice for a verizon 7.7 version.

why would dump a devise that does it all to get a stripped down version and then have to get a cell phone and possibly pay 2 plans? makes no sence but to each his own

Sorry, I'm going to be that guy. Can we please make at least a small attempt at proper English here?
Besides, maybe he has a cell phone provided through his company, or has a discount program. The dude made a post about something specific, and kneejerk reactions that provide zero utility are just noise.

maybe because he wants to. I don't have any regrets buying the verizon version yet since i haven't felt the need to root the device either
Also LTE connection is a nice thing to have on the go
I will collect all buying advices for all regions for the new nexus 7.
1. For Europe:
suggestion one get it from ebay.co.uk
You will pay no taxes and shipping is cheap.
Second suggestion
Use ebay.com or swappa.com you will pay more for shipping and taxes but depending on the exchange rate it can still be quite cheap
third and propably the cheapest get it from ebuyer.com through boarderlinx they accept paypal(which doesn't seem to work) i used google checkout and my order was accepted.
2.Asia
I think you are stugged with buying it from ebay.com or find a importer (there are afaik now some good ones in japan and southkorea specialized on tech a friend of mine bought a kindle fire there 2 days after release the prices are mad though)
i think and it would be great if smb could recheck ebuyer or an american site would work with borderlinx
please calculate with import taxes!!
have you found a good australian site?

Also, for future reference, the Q&A section is only for asking questions, not threads like this one.

Hi guys,
just wondering if there is a known method to removing the SIM lock on the Note 3 (n9000w8 Rogers model).
I'm not to familiar with Samsung devices and I recently got this device, but would now like to use my primary SIM but its with another provider (Telus)
So just wondering if it is even possible and what would be the easiest and cheapest method to unlock it.
Thanks in advance! :good:
I've attached a picture for a better idea.

have a read here might be a answer
Might as well buy the code from known sources like cellunlocker.net or risk bricking your phone through other methods. Way small price to pay than having an expensive paperweight.

Go to the official service center with phone documents. Service man will take off this lock.
