Trying to hit the 200GB on my Note. I love my unlimited data. I am a truck driver that uses my phone to stay up on shows, play ps4 online, download movies, stream music, sometimes use it to connect my iPad to face time my daughter
used 20 gigs this month.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 using Tapatalk.
Im also a truck driver and use my unlimited data like it was meant to be used. I consistently use 60+ GB a month. I have hit the 125 mark once.
How do you play ps4 online? Or did you just mean you use the note 4 as hotspot. Guessing with foxfi? That's impressive though! 200 gigs

i used my phone years ago on spring break when i played college baseball and we used hotspot for xbox live and i hit 35 gb that month lol
I almost used 1 gb..and I'm just as happy... im on wifi 95 percent of the time
Last month:
Had to dl a couple 40+ gig games off Steam. I've been using 100+gb/mo for a while, haven't heard anything yet. I'd gladly pay to have my FIOS back, but I moved and the best I can get now is "up to" 6mbps ATT DSL for $55/mo with a 150gb cap. Complete joke.
I'm loving the Note 4 though. My Note 2 at best got 2 bars at my house, and that was putting it it good spots. To get the best speed I'd have to set it outside on the deck, would often drop to 3G depending on where in the house you were. Note 4 however, have yet to see it drop to 3G, and it always gets 2-3 bars inside no matter where I am.

200GB? Wow.......I have a T-Mobile Family plan with only 2.5 GB. -_- The first month I had the Samsung Galaxy S5, I ran out of that in 3 days. I have a note 4 T-Mobile now though....when I talked to the guy in the store (I'm told he's the most truthful person working there) he was like, "See, Verizon and AT&T don't have unlimited, but we do." We said no, Verizon does, and he said "Really? We just had a conference today about unlimited data and Verizon and AT&T...:
Fed the wrong information, good service though.

Wait, so does Foxfi actually unlock your wifi tethering without root? I don't want to risk anything again, because when I first tried it, it turned it on in the settings app.
Grandfathered in to have unlimited data. I either pay full price or use another line upgrade. And yes I have been using foxfi since April on my s5 and now my note without being rooted. I got the free app then paid for the key. It sets up a vpn to bypass the check and no issues for me

I was checking sprint today to see if I could order another evo, and I noticed that I've already used over 5gb of data in the two weeks I've had this monster.
Now, I've been using 3g for the internet, pandora, podcasts via google listen and gps via google navigation, but I was still surprised at how much data I've consumed.
I'm willing to bet that I'm not alone, and that lots of other xda users are getting their $10 worth out of the premium data add-on, so if you are a data hog like me, how much data have you used so far?

I have had my evo about 2 weeks now and I have consumed 11.1GB wow. I know I had tethered my phone up to my net-book a few times when I need to download some stuff for work, watched some videos, I stream Pandora a lot when im working out, and I browse the internet probably an hour or 2 a day.. I wonder if sprint will be yelling at me anytime soon.

I have 1 gig... except it's all roaming. That lil prl change is marvellous.
i have no home internet where i live but i do live in a sprint 3g area. got my phone on june 26th and used 8-10gb a month until november when it dropped to 5gb. i tether and download a 100mb or so of podcasts a day. thank god for unlimited data. i work for at&t now and refuse to ditch my evo because of it, besides the fact that they don't have any good android phones.
last month about 5 gigs... lot of various gingerbread rom downloading
Unlimited Data is pretty sweet, I am curious if Sprint would eventually say how the hell did you use that many GBs of data in a month? Over 13 is not enough I guess haha
When I had my Hero I was pulling around 600MB per month. I did have one month where I pulled just shy of 2GB. In October I upgraded to the Evo. I immediately ramped up to 3.5GB to 5GB per month. Awesome.

Actually this month I have not tethered at all. This is quite strange. I stream music with Pandora but that has only gotten me to around 4-5 gb a month
You can't get to 117 terabytes through tethering. It's impossible. Do the math; 117 terabytes in one month would require downloading @ 360 megabits (or 45 megabytes) per second, 24 hours per day, for 30 days.
You can't even copy data to/from your SD card on your phone through a USB cable that fast, lol. It's clearly a mistake, you may want to call Verizon before their computer automatically sends you a bill for more than the GDP of our entire country.

Why dont you check to see why dont you check your my verizon account on a computer to see what it says before jumping to conclusions. I think that there are just alot of texts and the numbers are close together because of that.

It's got to be torrents. No way can someone consume 100gb of data without video files lol. I download nightlies every day on my drive from work and even with all my app updates via cell signal I never go over 5-8gb's.
Hey guys just want to see and compare how much data everyone uses on average! I'm on T-Mobile and I have unlimited data, so a normal month for me would be between 9-12 Gb and on a crazy month I've gone upwards of 24+ Gb!
On a side note, those of you on Fi, how much data do you find yourself using? Do you tend to hold back to save money, or just usually like you normally would?
I'm rarely away from WiFi so I don't use that much data, my average monthly consumption is 3.2GB. This is primarily used when I'm streaming Spotify in the car or the odd occasions when WiFi isn't available.

That's not bad! What carrier are you on? I know on T-Mobile Spotify doesn't count towards your data, that's one reason I switched to them.
Here anything larger then 1GB will cost you over $100/mth. I'm forced to use less then 1GB.
It depends on what you use the most away from wi-fi. For me, I stream a lot of music, so the unlimited streaming that doesn't use my data is a lifesaver for me. In fact, it's why I haven't switched to Fi yet. If they offer it in the future, I will probably switch.
About 3GB.
I'm mostly on Wifi these days. Mostly browse when I am on mobile which doesn't use much data especially if you use data saver.
When on vacation though I can use some data. Currently on a 20gb plan with AT&T.

Getting by with less than 1 GB is impressive. How do you manage? Last winter I spent 3 weeks in Morocco, and i had an Moroccan account to be able to read some news and facebook while at the beach. Since I had my child with me every day except one, I didn't listen to music and had Wifi at our appartement. Still used up almost 5GB.
In Sweden I have an old accout with unlimited data and 3G speeds (Telenor), normally use between 25 and 50 GB every month.

Around 8-10GB per month for me though I have hit 20-30GB on occasion.
I only use WiFi at home but don't bother at plenty of other places its available.
At my new job i rely on wifi so i probably use a lot less now. (3-6Gb)
But at my old job where i relied on it so much and tethered i did use upward of 30Gb in one month (12 hour night shifts, you get bored.)
Thank god for unlim data
I only use around 8ish but I have 20 to spare. It works for me. Mostly Google music and a little bit of YouTube.
Me on TMobile unlimited high speed plan around 120gb each month
I've never used more than 1 gig of mobile data in a month, but I use about 15 on WiFi. I don't watch much video on my phone, and I do most of my app updates and podcast downloads over WiFi.
I'm interested to know what you guys who are using 70+GB a month are doing with the devices, surely that's a lot of tethering?
