Display isn't right after flashed nash kernel
Hi guys, I'm using CM12 unofficial for mako and flashed nash kernel r3,
Now the screen is all black, except for the menubar and the navbar,
but when I slide down from the menubar, I can see the quick toggles and notifications.
Quick press the power button twice, I can see the content of the screen, just a flash, and back to whole black.
What should I do now ?
Flash the ROM again ? Or try another kernel ?

Just reflashed CM12, it's OK now.

I found out about the kernel through a reddit post on getting TouchControl-like features on Lollipop. The poster mentioned your kernel in particular because it included both dt2w and s2s. Reading through the changelog, it looks like you removed s2s. Any chance of bringing this back? I know there are at least two of us that use it. lol

I have an OTG cable connected to a powered usb (3.0) hub.
I am trying to get OTG working, but N4 founds no device.
Could you tell me if I've forgotten any thing?

Nexus 4 has a shortcoming where it need an external device connected to the cable to power the pen drive! So search for a OTG Y cable & you will be able to get what you need!

I thought that Y OTG was equivalent to a powered hub, as the N4 issue was related with the lack of power in the USB device, but maybe it isn't.

Hello, this is my first post hope its get answered.
Tried twice ,to flash nash kernel r11 for euphorias os 1.0 mako for my nexus 4, but
Without success .at first had rom ,without re-flash dirty rom, flashed kernel and ukm,then reboot. When homepage came up, there was not central and right buttons of nav bar, only visible the left back button. After my first touch everything went black except status bar and back button. Nothing else only black screen and fc of ui and system.
Tried to factory reset flash rom,gapps,nash,su,ukm reboot, same happened.
Tried fladh rom,gapps enter os, then enter recovery dirty flash rom and kernel,ukm but still the same. Dont know if i do something rom, but followed instructions by author.

I'm on stock ROM, no init.d, so when I installed r14 ukm was not installed....as far as I can tell synapse is working fine though.....so is that okay then?
And I love the kernel....incredible...tweaked hotplug a little more to my liking.
Edit: I installed ukm now....still working great

I'm on N20 and I enabled the d2tw but when I reboot the phone the parameters in sys/module reset themselves and d2tw doesn't stick. What am I doing wrong?

This is a great Rom, and it work fine without any issues, one go and its quite appreciative of the people working on such excellent Rom buildups.
One think I have been noticing on my Facebook App.
The section when you do an status up the Smiley , where you suppose to share your feeling,
I am not able to get that to work, cant update what movies I am watching or Smiles update.
Has anyone notice or tried it out.

Do you made a clean install? Some users get issues after install and solved it flash twice...

The ROM is running very smoothly for me, but I noticed that the S Health pedometer isn't counting steps at all. Anyone know what the issue is?

I get stuck on samsung logo after flashing newest alucard 2.3. TW kernel. Previous 2.1 works fine. I always use universal kernel cleaning script before flashing...
Any ideas?

Weird, mine consumes only about 1% in 7 hours (in deep sleep).
Googymax kernel's profiles are undefined until you save your settings to them. So just activating one of them doesn't do anything.
Try nightmare or darkness governor and zen or fiops scheduler.
Or maybe youre battery is broken or getting old. My first battery was faulty and it drained very fast. Got new and now its great

Trying nightmare + my secondary battery (almost new and fully charged with samsung external charger) seem the same maybe i need to reflash this rom. Tnx
video not working on GF 5.0
The video recording is good but when I want to play it it says the video is not working. I fixed it with installing MX player. Cheers
Goldfinger 5.0 boot loop to recovery issue
need help here. i did a clean install from GE 44, wiped everything but after installation of Goldfinger 5.0, i either got stuck on samsung logo or being rebooted by to custom recovery. i used CWM recovery and Philz, both are giving me the same issues. Also, I tried reinstalling the ROM several times (coz of the known issue with aroma) but still getting the same thing. i never had issues install Goldfinger before or any ROM. I also tried re-downloading but the same issues come up.
Baseband: I9505XXUGNH8
installation: international i9505, GF slim, S5 menu, disabled everything except xposed and the hidden button, kernel is talexop.
i went back to GE 44 but after initial installation, my previous settings was there already even though I haven't set it yet. it's like it never was formatted. any help pls?

Severe battery drain after flashing??
Hi all,
I finally made the move from Touchwhiz to CM11 Temasek. Full wipe and flash according to main post. Also flashed PA Gapps and Temasek Kernel.
The only settings I changed was to switch from Dalvik to ART. The phone restarted and the apps were optimised, however it still shows DALVIK as the selected runtime?
Now even when charging (AC, 2.1mAMP fast charger) my battery drains when making a hangouts video call! I literally rant through my entire battery whilst plugged in! Screenshots attached. Any ideas??

I have been using version 143. I installed v150 and was getting DC everywhere after some hours of uptime only solvable by rebooting. Then reverted to 143 and tried v153 2 days ago (this time I wiped instead of dirty flashing). Even then, i still get FC everywhere after 15-20 hours of uptime. Anyone is having similar issues with most recent builds?
I ask this because I understood that this recent fix wasn't for these FC that I'm seeing and no one else seems to be reporting similar issues. That why I tired a clean install (with Tb user app restore, as I do with any other build, including v143)

Push and hold a blank area of the screen to edit the launcher, or switch launchers (GEL,NOVA,APEX etc)

The file tag f2fs is to tell users this kernel is f2fs ready. If u are not using f2fs it's OK to use too.

I can't get it working, it says in sound settings an mp3 file needs to be in system/media/audio.mp3, so I named an MP3 file audio and put it in system/media but no dice! I tried fixing permissions too but no difference. If I can get it working, I'll need to add it to a backup script I guess, at least I know how to do that! Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It has some conditions to be met before it can be done. I don't really like this feature. Too many conditions to adhere.

Ok, thanks. I like the idea, used to enjoy using it on my i9300, a silent boot sound was added as a workaround for an audio bug and I found I could swap the silent.wav for an actual sound!

There's no mobile internet, this rom is for grouper, which is WiFi only tablet.
If you mean your grouper can't connect to Wifi, it's working fine for me, on all official nightly builds.
Just flashed it. Not to much of a difference between cm12 and stock 5.0.2.
Runs fine so far. Waiting for themes and some more Cm specific futures.
I guess I'm spoiled with CM11S on my Opo.

Just to add that in 01/19 release isn't fixed this FC yet.
I am also having the wi-fi connecting problem. Still persists even after flashing cm 12 20150120 nightly. Any help would be appreciated.

I readjusted my DHCP Server in my Router that Nexus 7 will get always a new IP (v4) adress instead of a dedicated one. This solved my problem.
I guess there is still a problem with the asignment of v4 IP adresses. Check under Settings - Wi-Fi - Advanced - IP address if a v4 IP address is assigned.
Just flashed 23.1 nightly. "unfortunately system ui has stopped" all the time

In my opinion this is more useful in landscape mode (horizontal) for type on keyboard and this occupy less on screen.

Currently running CM12 nightly 03/02 and working OK. Tried to update to 04/02 flashes fine but goes into bootloop which I stopped after about 30 mins. Tried 05/02 today and the exact same thing happens. On my Grouper I am using Multirom, could this be the issue? I have checked the Multrrom thread but nothing on there. I notice from 04/02 F2FS was incorporated into the ROM, again could this be the issue. The 03/02 version that I have running OK, Multirom Manager is telling me that it has a Kexec compatible Kernel so I assume 04 and 05 would be the same. I have even tried to install it as a new ROM, but that doesn't work either. Anydody got any ideas what is causing the bootloops?

Did you try flashing the multirom patched kernel with it again? I updated to 04/02 nightly yesterday but reflashed the multirom kernel with it before booting and it booted up fine.... I'm about to test f2fs later today

The latter should be sufficient. Flashing formats /system anyway.
Remember that formatting /data will wipe your internal sdcard, so backup that to some external drive beforehand!

Thanks for the awesome ROM. I encountered some issue with the sound. When I was playing music, at times the volume will increase by itself and will not stop until I press the volume rocker.
I have also encountered an issue with the Check for updates. It keeps telling me that I do not have internet access.

Hi,
Based on my experience, you cannot dirty flash this way. You will need to wipe cache/ clear partition, then flash the LS Lollipop ROM.
If you dirty flash the LS Lollipop ROM ontop of the KK ROM, you may experience boot loop.

No man I wasn't Talking about dirty flash
I was talking about clean flash Coz I thought that you have to flash Lollipop leak before Flashing this

You can then. Just wipe everything before you flash.

Hi, I have flash the latest version of this ROM via TWRP. Everything works well but for some reason, I cannot connect my whatapps. After entering my mobile number, it just shows connecting and that's it. I have data connection and all other app require data connection works fine. Please help. Thanks.
Anyone else having problems with the camera freezing in 2nd Feb build? I can take a couple of pics then it freezes, or just doesn't work at all..the previous build was fine..clean flash n9005

Is there anyway hltetmo can be added so we T-Mobile variant can flash. Even if you put a disclaimer saying that NFC won't work. I have used NFC only once and have been frustrated that most ROMs nowadays have T-Mobile unsupported because of NFC not working. It has made it so I can't use this ROM, blisspop, etc etc or even have a download to the update script

Yeah...that would be great. I ran Liquid on just about every Android device I've owned...always been a big fan. If at all possible to add tmo support I would appreciate it greatly.

Is there normaln on this ROM that S-view don`t work? Maybe it`s some way to get it back? It`s very important accesory for me and I like this ROM. It`s fast and stable. But that problem with cover is really annoiyng... Or maybe S-view don`t work here?

great ROM one minor bug so far
First of all this is the best ROM I've ever used smooth and responsove. I did come across one problem. When you're on a call the screen goes off as it should but it still responds to touches , so u could be pressing buttons with your face unknowingly.

Hi there... just flashed the rom and recognized that there are some less navbar custommizations than in other roms. Change button placement is ok but for me a must have (know that most of u guys doesnt need it ) is a "allways shown menu" button as u can see on the screenshot. Option is available in other roms (except blissroms later than 3.x) like euphoria or rressurectionremix.

The installation instructions are clear and simple. I ask if they are that simple if I'm on KK Cloudy 2.2 on a D800.

I have to say, maaaan, this is the best rom I have ever tested and I been runing it for over a month now and no issues but one.... DoubleTap2Wake doesn´t stick in Kernel Adiutor, I already install the apk on the OP and still nothing, any ideas?
Like I said before, in Kernel Adiutor I select active mode in activation control, than I get out of it, go back and it´s in disable mode again and no matter how many times I do it or how I do it just won´t stick.
Other than that I f***ing love it.

I had the same issue on my D802.
I enabled it first and checking that setting again after reboot it was on disabled but it was working and as stupid as I was I wanted it on enabled.
The way I solved was to clear data of Kernel Adiutor, reboot and set it on enable and never touch it again

It clearly says that the DT2W.2.apk app isn't needed anymore but maybe it's still is for your model.
On previous post what I meant was this:
Clear data of Kernel Adiutor, force stop it in application info (same place where you clear data).
Reboot, then Wake Controls in Kernel Adiutor, enable and Apply on boot. Then just leave it like that.
