Issue Galaxy S5 Rooting

Hello all,
I'm no stranger to the rooting procedure ( I've done it several times on different devices) but in this case I'm encoutering a large issue
When I put the S5 in download mode, I get a screen with 5 or 6 lines with chinese symbols... my chinese is as good as non-existing.
Could some one please help me with this?
If I'm not mistaking, my phone version is 900s ( If I want to update the phone, it's mentionned, not in the menu "about phone" ...
So if anyone could please tell me what to do, I would be very gratefull

The G900S is Korean unless you have a Chinese clone.

it is possible that it's a clone, but if that's the case how do I root it?
i can't read chines, nor korean

Did you try towelroot? You don't need to go into download mode. Download run as app and follow the directions. It's that easy.

Download CPU-Z and run it. That will give you a system profile and tell you whose chipset is in your phone.

Root it using TowelRoot by geohot, it doesn't require download mode and it's a 1 button root.

press the symbol on the page to download it. you also need the newest supersu by chainfire & when it ask to disable knox press ok or yes.

I'm getting this too with my 900f, if anyone knows whats going on, that would be helpful.
edit: it might be the 900s as well, my about says 900s while the back of my pone says 900f

Wrong forum. Google for your device and look elsewhere for help mate. Anything here will brick your device

[SM-G900M] Help, no call voice.

Good evening ladies and gentlemen .
I have a SM- G900M smartphone.
In this device , I can not use any voice call, only use the 3G / 4G data service.
This occurred after the exchange of a ROM.
My bootloader and modem is BOK3 version .
Has anyone experienced this or can help ?

i'm in same problem friends, i can make and receive call, after reboot the device. But is so boring. if you find the solution, please share here. :good:

It's technically not possible, but if you want "device software n9005 mod for n900l" possible with some custom roms, but not recommend install "Custom ROM". Custom ROM's trips "KNOX flag" and it can't return to back (0x0).

SM-G900H - Marshmallow Update - Network going on and off

Hello,
I've installed the last Marshmallow Firmware for the SM-G900H. Everything is working smooth and well but the network is going on and off. Unexpectedly, it goes off and it starts giving "Emergency Calls Only" and won't let me to select my network in case I want to manually configure it.
I've tried to installed the previous Modem but didn't work @ all.
What do you suggest? What might be the problem? Did anybody encounter such a problem?

Hello Kdio,
For this update, there is only India and Kazakhstan. So this tool won't help much. It's weird since It works sometimes for a good period of time and some other time it starts going on and off.
Thank you for the help. Any other suggested solution ?

As you didn't comment, I don't know your region. Below is the link with all 900H releases per region.

My (strong) suggestion, to verify if it is a hardware issue or not, is to select one (any) of the list above of your preference and flash as I've pointed out.
