I found in the samsung forum a flashable Sony Bravia Engine 3. I tested on our LG and it works.
The colors a more .....colored - and a little sharper.
I have also a Bravia away flashable zip that remove the Bravia3 if someone dont like the colorfull display.
btw i load up the V10D Firmware to download. A user from here want to reflash his phone
http://www.mediafire.com/download/28a06j2d30wa9uh/D72210d_00.kdz
Hi, I've already installed TWRP but when you say zip file, there's an img file, so can't flash it this way, also tried to flash via flashify but I'm on LB and I guess that's the problem.
That's ok for me with flashify and recovery Sony Bravia.
Now I will test the D722 V10D Firmware with twrp or flashify.
I shared my reviews later ^^
Edit :
Except a little problem with my account office 365,
everything is fine even my sd card is mount correctly
Have you flash the TWRP recovery with FLASHIFY ?
click flash recovery.
click choose file and pick the recovery.
thats it. in recovery you can flash zip files.
oh sry. i see the link for sony zip was wrong.
i correct it and put a link for the HTC Beats Update in the first post.
I tried to flash, halts on error, downloaded beats and when I open it also some sort of error occurs, besides, apk its like 1.7 mb, and zip is 200 kb, is that right?
thanks for the effort! going to try new beats mod with my drums!
tried home flash program Run ADB(comp.) and using FLASHIFY(phone). The same result, the phone boot in Fastboot!!!
where is the APK file ?
please write a detailed instruction ?
Which one are you trying to flash? With flashify I could not flash any but a twrp version that's not here, beats just used the apk and that was enough. Bravia could not flash, I guess there's something wrong with the upload..?

And so. About recovery.
I found it through a program Flashify (with Play Market). wrote all ok. Prompted to restart in recovery - OK.
Next on the splash screen LG written on top of the text, something like fastboot command waits ... and so on. in recovery not entered.
Try to boot via adb - the same thing.
Write detailed instructions !!!
hi, sorry to step in, but I couldn't flash this twrp, I have d855, found a "signed" version and finally got it working, if this works for you I can uploade it

Hi, please be careful. This device isn't similar to the LG G3 which is the device you have. Its a lower model. So it wouldn't have worked with your device. Thanks for the info though This is the LG G3 Mini or S or Beat.

Hi, I seem to have a few problems rooting my Lg optimus L5. I am on android version 4.1.2
I have tried the Framaroot method, as suggested in this tread. The app opens and I select the Gandalf exploit, as suggested by the maker of this app, but after I select my exploit, the app just closes.
I have also tried the method on this tread but after I open root.bat, it runs a few lines, says there are errors with a few ones and closes itself. I have tried this method 2 or 3 times
I think I tried another method, but I can't seem to find it, I'll post here if I eventually do find it.
Edit: I found the other method(all I had to do was look at my desktop, there was still a folder with the name of the method there... silly me!)
The other method is Super One Click, and that didn't work either...
Also, can someone explain to me what does V20D mean? Is it a rom, a kernel version?
P.S.: Please forgive me for beeing such a noob, but I really did search through the forums (maybe not well enough...) and didnt find any method that works
Sadly, there is only 1 method available to get lg l5 4.1.2 rooted.
Install a pre-rooted firmware (and, that's what v20a or b or d is) using kdz.

Thank you for the answer, could you link me to a guide? Also, will this"wipe" all my apps and their data?
4.1.2 pre-rooted. Flash any one using kdz updater.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2275969
1. Install supersu.
2. Install ROM manager, select e610 as your device and flash cwm (or twrp) recovery.
Here's a guide to do the same. (use the rom from the first link, since the link to the rom is broken in the second link)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230679
IMPORTANT : If your phone is e612, download the recovery.img (for clockworkmod) of e610 only. Otherwise, you will get bootloops.
Yes, it will delete all your applications and data. It will delete all the contents of your internal sd card.

Thanks, my phone is now rooted! Funny fact: My data was not wiped, I still have all my apps, and I have checked with root checker if I have root , and I have, so thank you :good:
Wut?
Using kdz update tool, wipes all data...
How did yours not get wiped?
I guess, flashing a v20 on another v20 doesn't wipe the phone
Hi
Here are flashable zip file wich installs latest Sony stock 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROM 23.5.A.1.291_R3D (VMo AU-NZ), SuperSu v2.76 and latest TWRP 3.0.20 with read and write acces to system. Because device is Wi-Fi only region doesn´t matter. Only difference is bloatware. Since Sony hasn´t push update to SGP511 I use SGP512 firmware which is working fine on my device. If you want you can edit build.prop file in /system -folder to correct model number as shown in screenshot.
Here is the link for new 6.0.1 firmware:
https://mega.nz/#!VcxGyRZK!U4NqLOSeg1X_3KNC1_xXm2WnH4_i2OoZ6NwuyaIR6Hw
MD5 is: D3B78445485765AB7BD3A163F2A6C4BD
Make nandroid backup before flashing.
Install it by flashing whole zip file via custom recovery. TWRP recommend. If coming from .570 or .575 firmware dirty flash with art/dalvik cache wipe is okay.
If coming from older firmware factory reset is most likely necessary with cache and dalvik/art cache wipes but anyhow recommend. If you want you can restore your data with TWRP after installation and reboot. This install compatible busybox. If you install incompatible busybox you may loose acces to TWRP.
After flashing .zip file if you are getting bootloop you have atleast two choises.
- With pc and Flashtool use your firmware original ftf -file and flash it by excluding "FOTAKernel", "Partition" and "System". In other words in "exclude section" tick these and don´t wipe anything. (Credits @AlanDS)
- Or download "bootloop fix" from here: https://mega.nz/#!BUxFxSAR!bPVEEDnsPz962JQ1uA2PKJv9tYLKA47N0fhA80ltEvw
(Credits @niaboc79 and @machao44) and flash it with TWRP
Here is the old 23.1.A.1.28 (Customized NCB) FTF -file link:
For SGP511: https://mega.nz/#!sVIn1IJI!Ywqoksuej83vNkc__nNrBy-im6tfLjWr_mbonMd6PPk

Nope. Only difference between devices is memory size and your device regognize correct size even if you use this. Only thing is your device shows as SGP511 but you can chance that in build.prop file if you like.
Er... on my Z2 Tablet with .726 firmware there is no "Ultra Stamina" mode... or am I missing something?
Or is "Ultra Stamina" introduced only with this new firmware version??
Thanks, I just noticed this version was offered as a 21 MB system update on my current ROM (23.1.A.0.690 NCB). But this is much better :good:

You are right. Chancelog is copy/pasted from universal source so there is device specific differencies and because this device is wifi only there is no ultra stamina mode.

For to be safe I recommend to make nandroid backup including kernel, system and data. However if something go wrong system backup with kernel might be enough to bring your device back.
This ain't wipe your internal sd on it's own so it is your choice.
Thanks man, you're always so fast! We should be getting 5.1 next month I read somewhere

Nope. Double tap to wake work fine here.
Factory reset coming from KK, everything working perfectly, including root/SU and double tap to wake.
In case anyone has similar issues, I couldn't download from Mega directly to device (it kept disconnecting at around 10%), had to download using PC and transfer using SD card.
Thanks Kulvertti for all the work you do for our device, it is much appreciated! :good:

hey man,
I just spent like 2 hours trying to get CWM installed for castor windy. finally ended up using a combo of ADB "fastboot reboot-bootloader" reboot-boot <lightning-bolt-symbol/fastboot mode/select kernal to flash> and put in an extracted boot.img for CWM (nightly build). i then did "fastboot reboot" and rapidly pressed the volume up button. it worked and im now in CWM. I put your zip on my sd card before, and I navigated to that <apply update/choose from sdcard1/flashablesomeupdatedetailsidontwanttocopy.zip> (strangly I noticed that there were 2 identical "choose from sdcard1" options)
cwm paused for a second, then outputted

First: Thanks to Kulvertti for all his work.
I am still confused. Do I need to root my device on forehand?
What I have understood so far:
You don't have to have root to flash NUT's [TABZ2][TWRP][PhilZ Touch][CWM] XZDualRecovery (It won't bring you root either).
So you can flash this recovery as long as you are on unrooted but rootable stock firmware (e.g. 17.1.2.A.0.314).
Then can flash this pre-rooted stock Lollipop ROM 23.1.A.1.28 and you will have root.
So only 3 steps to go from unrooted stock Lollipop to to this pre-rooted Lollipop?
1) flash rootable firmware (from PC, using flashtool).
2) flash "NUT's" recovery (from PC, using NUT's installer).
3) flash this pre-rooted stock Lollipop ROM (from sdcard1, using TWRP recovery)
Is this correct??
I'm on a custom Rom (Xoplaxos) and TWRP Recovery. I want to move back to Stock Rom 9, Kitkat or Lollypop. Can someone help me with step by step process in English.

I'm slightly worried with Lenovo...last time I tried to upgrade rom from rooted stock Kitkat to stock lollypop, my phone got bricked.
I've never faced such silly issues with my earlier phones i.e. Samsung Galaxy 3 , Galaxy Nexus, Xolo etc.
I need a step by step process so that I can successfully go back to to stock and then take the phone to service center as there is some issue with Vibration

Because you're using XOPLAX (LP), custom recovery (TWRP), and Lenovo A6000 Plus. Right?
I suggest you to flash stock LP.
The Steps:

Go To META-INF\com\google\android folder.
Replace update-script file with new update-script file (Link Below, Extract first). Save your System.zip
(Optional) Double check the update-script file. Make sure it has been replaced.
Save it (System.zip) to your external card.

Normal Flash will keep your data, no other difference than CSE.. Normal Flash is likely to give a lot of FC when you use the kdz you installed. Since the point of this post is to install LOS, it won't make any difference.
BTW: You might need V21C modem and MR_Bump while installing LOS

Unlocked bootloader needed ?
Hi,
the download link isn't working.
Do i need an unlocked bootloader?
Hey! Will it work on LG-D855 (V30e)?
The link .rar is down
Wipe?
Will it wipe all my data when i downgrade with LG Flash Tool using the Normal Flash?
I read that if i use normal flash for downgrading it will brick my phone. Is that true?
I have stock android.
you said at title its for ( v30n ) only , so why download ( v30b ) KDZ ???
Download All in One.rar

I have d850 6.0 stock unrooted runs on Tmo.
I want to flash lineage OS.
Will this unlock method work for me? ATT phones have locked bootloader.
If I choose Lineage OS for D850, will I be able to run on Tmo?
Heard bad things about king root. Any chance of fully getting rid of it or using any other method to flush custom ROM on unrooted phone? I think ATT is also locked bootloader.
Thanks

You have to flash that .zip file only if you want to use a different kernel over the RR stock kernel

You simply downloaded the wrong file, it's for Zuk Z2, not for moto g4 plus aka athene.
Please be aware what rom files for which devices you download.

Error 7 leads to corrupted file. Please make sure you download it without interrupting or it will be broken.

So i downloaded the rom again. Transfered it properly. Same error.(error 7)
So just to be sure. Downloaded 5 different Roms.
Same error. My friend suggested me to flash through Adb sideload. I think it flashes but not properly since my device got stucked on bootloop for around 40 minutes before i switched it off for 2 different ROMs. Ene of the day I am back to stage 1. My friend told me to instal TWRP again. But without any OS how can i do it. Please help;_;

And your absolut sure these 5 rom files are OK and not broken? You download the correct device versions?
Which roms you have(file names)?
What twrp version(link /file name)?
You can flash twrp with twrp itself(install - > image) or with fastboot like the first time.

I hope you did not pause the download in between or it did not failed and you started from the failed point (It can be done in Firefox)
Check the md5 of the zip file.
Also try a different TWRP. What TWRP are you using right now??.......just tell what source you downloaded it from

Wrong TWRP my friend (its a 32 bit TWRP and you need 64 bit TWRP)........strange I thought it was error 255 when we tried to install using wrong TWRP.
Download TWRP by Lyuu and backup EFS first and then flash the ROM.
