Hello Friends!
Is there a way to change the Carrier Name that shows up in the Notification Bar and the Lockscreen WITHOUT 3minit settings or Xposed Framework?
If so, exactly how? Thanks for your help!
3rd party lock screen like Widgetlocker will get rid of that one. Not the notification bar though. Probably not exactly the answer your looking for but it's one way.

You need to search a bit more, if you even did. Modify an eri.XML file. Seriously a lot of info by google-ing "change carrier name android "

Hey daniel, thank you for your response. You know, I have tried researching this, for a while.
The eri.xml mod only works for AOSP/CM/AOKP, I think, not for TW. I could be wrong.

It should work for touchwiz. I used to do it all the time on the GS3.

Is face unlock not supported on the S7 Edge? I've searched and nothing seems to address this question. Is this only a Nexus feature because I had it on my Nexus 5.

Settings/lockscreen/smart lock/Trusted Face, that's what its called now. Trusted face.
No option for face unlock

Not really interested in rooting just to restore a function that should be there in the first place. What reason could they have for not including it?
Do any Samsung products have face unlock? I checked with T-Mobile and as far as the rep knows it is something with Samsung.

I Got Root. How to Get it?

As far as i remember, facelock is not safe enough so it has been removed since android 6.
