Yes! Aside from using the Exposed Framework, you can download an app called "Mailwise" which actually has this built right in. I was reluctant to use it because I'm very used to the stock android feel of the standard email app, but Mailwise is actually pretty good.

Only one I found on xposed was for nexus or any aosp device. I tried that one anyways before I posted on here but no luck. I go through the setup process but still asked for a pin once completed.

I use the Wanam Exposed module and it is under security hacks. Works fine with mine.

This is working fine for me:
[HACK] Removing keyguard and other security policy restrictions from Email apk

[Q] How to use Xposed settings (tablet UI) ?

Hello everybody,
I'd like to have a tablet UI for my emails apps and for the settings app.
My ROM (Revolt JB) includes the xposed framework settings.
I installed the framework and the module but even when I set a different DPI and select "tablet UI", the app (gmail) stays in phone mode. (It only works for chrome).
I've watched videos and tutorials about how to do it buy none of them worked for me...
If you guys can help me...
Thanks.

I can't remember anymore which module exactly comes with ReVolt, but I use JellyBam which comes with "Xposed App Settings". You can configure the settings per app that way. I just tried it and when you set the resolution to at least 600p Gmail will use the tablet UI. You might want to check this thread. It has a link where you can download additional modules. I guess you will find the module in question there as well. Good luck!
Go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yx0a-C4xGTM will show how to set it up.
That's how i do ! I tried to download his xposed settings app but I couldn't install it... I really don't understand...

That's weird. I am by no means an expert and I have only a week ago rooted my phone for the first time, so I guess I am at my wits end here as well. But what happened when you tried to install the module? I guess the Xposed thread might be your best bet to find out what could be the problem though. I hope you can resolve the issue. In any case please keep us posted. Good luck again!

One-handed operation (Use for all screens) not working

Hi,
My Use for all screens stopped working. Anyone experience this or know how to fix it? It's checked in the One-handed operation option.
Thanks.

I haven't been able to get mine to work period. I have disabled and enabled the feature multiple time and I just can't get it to work.....
Use it all the time. Might be an issue with a specific version of the phone or if you have modified it somehow.

I tried when my phone was completely stock. Prior to even changing out the launcher. Humph.... I may have to go talk to verizon.

I have the T-Mobile version and it worked in the beginning, but now I can't get it to work
A shame since I was just getting used to it and how to gesture it on and off.
This seems to be a Samsung issue rather than a carrier fault.
(mine is unlocked and in use on AT&T)
Would it be advisable to contact Samsung directly?
Go to Settings>Device>Accessibility, and check under "Services". Having apps turned on there can break the one-handed function.
I have NiLS for lockscreen notifications, but it seems to run fine even when the service permission is turned off.

Bingo! Thank You barnabydog!
The good news: It worked! I turned off the offending app and I'm back in business!
The bad news: The offending app was Pebble (smartwatch)
A feature that is more useful to me than the one handed mode . . .
So then is this the sad state of affairs? I have to choose between my Mini-screen mode and my smart watch?
How did you know about this barnabydog?
is there another thread that discusses this issue?
Yes, but I was too lazy to search for it.

How to use Foxfi without a lockscreen

This may be common knowledge, and if so I apologize, but I thought it might help someone else out.
Since we are waiting for Root, the only way I know to Tether is using the Foxfi app, which requires you to set a secured lockscreen so it can install VPN credentials.
If you are like me and hate having to enter a pin every time you unlock your phone, hundreds of times a day, a great and simple workaround I've discovered is to download and set up the Dislock app (formerly Pebble Locker).
It basically gives your 4.4.x apps the Bluetooth "trusted devices/locations" features of Lollipop. It has the added benefit of being able to override the lockscreen, so you can have Foxfi ready to go and use your basic swipe to unlock.
I use mine with my Moto 360 and my home WiFi so it only asks me for a pin when I want it to.
Hope that helps someone!

I've never used the Dislock app, can you please explain what settings need to be applied to get it to work? Does FoxFi need to be turned on when dislock is on? Thank you.
I tried all sorts of things and couldn't figure it out. So I looked around for another option and this worked for me:
easy way to reset lock screen options
found a fix for getting all lock screen options back.
log into google device manager: www.google.com/android/devicemanager
click on the lock button for your device.
enter a new pass and save.
now go to your phone and use the new pass to unlock the phone.
you should now be able to go to your lock screen settings and pick whichever lock option you need.

No arguments there. But I feel a root is around the corner. Once we get root i'll never need FoxFi again.

You have to stop asking for free stuff on all the fox-fi threads

go ask in the Apps section
Dislock works on Foxfi with the Verizon Noted 4 KK too
I know this worked on the S4 and should also work on the Note 4.

I have tried this before and does work, until you want to use Foxfi again and then it asks for the lock process again. Does it on Kitkat and Lollipop.

Xposed for 7.0?

When xposed will be working for android 7.0?
Sadly there is no time frame as to when it will be released. I too am waiting for Xposed for Nougat but in the meantime i can wait.
lets just wait it out, i will defintely need xposed for Nougat, because there is one module which is a must for me.
it is called 'lockscreen disabler' and what it does is, it bypasses the annoying pin code requirement upon reboot when you have fingerprint set.
so it is an amazing module for me, because it never ever will lock the screen ,literally disables lockscreen so whenever you unlock your phone the screen pops on quick just like having no lockscreen set even though you have it set because of the fingerprint feature.
i love to unlock my phone with the fingerprint reader.
hopefully xposed will be compatible eventually.
I've been waiting for Xposed sine DP3 came out, how long does it usually take for a new Xposed version to be made?
Are the developers even working on a nougat version? Not asking for ETA. Just would be nice to know if it's in the works.
Rovo is actively working on it. Be patient, it was months after MM came out that Xposed was released for it. It will be the same for N most likely
From what I heard we wont get it till after 7.1 is released (probably WELL after.) Hes supposed to be pushing out xposed for systemless root first then working on nougat. So theres no timetable but Id be really surprised if it comes by the end of 2016 (hope Im wrong).
Im happy with MM. With android n-ify Ive got the look of Nougat and it now allows Google Assistant to be installed. It doesn't seem like Im missing out on much & I dont need to give up the xposed mods Ive started to take for granted.

If you are looking for a temporary solution, and like me mostly use Gravitybox tweaks, SAOSP is a very good mostly stock ROM.

it is an amazing module for me because it kills the lockscreens, i love having my phone ready all the time ,dislike the pattern/pin usage evrytime i unlock the phone, and i use the fingerprint reader function which requires a lockscreen, and this module works nicely with it.
when you downloaded it go to the app interface and top option says 'lockscreen type' choose no lockscreen < this kills lockscreen.
lockscreen type - no lockscreen

[App] [Xposed] AOD Customizer Module

Not mines. Just sharing this useful module I found that is working fine on our Note 9. Allows flashlight without unlocking the phone, which I could not find any other method to my liking, along with some other cool features.
