Hi,
Maybe it is a stupid question. Today, I wanted to check if my note 4 was able to enter download mode. It went fine... but I was not able to get out of download mode by long pressing the power button. I had to pull the battery out. Is there another way to get out of download mode?
Thanks!

huh what? you want to get into the download mode? well the downloading screen is the download mode... its what you use when you've messed your phone and you need to flash it using odin.
Now if you mean the update/boot mode where you can apply update.zips, then thats volume up + menu + power.
instructions are on the wiki

with big pictures too
Just so you don't feel silly for asking, you don't need to let go of the power button to enter download mode.
You are in the download mode, you can't do anything with it from the phone, you put your phone into this mode in order to load a rom onto it from your computer. To get out of the dl mode just pull your battery.
You can just hold down the power button to restart the phone.

have you tried just taking the battery out? waiting a few minutes and then putting it back in?...
I stucked the same way in recovery mod, take out battery then back after 15 minutes and boots back to recovery where it not allows accept anything.
With adb command i was able to reboot into bootloader mode, and phone works.
But i dont have working recovery mode, cannot enter download mode, and the phone not rooted.
Hey all,
I recently got into a bit of strife with my G2 but eventually fixed that, and now Im trying to flash the stock firmware back on so I can go back to square one, but every time I try to get into download mode (power off, hold volume up, plug in usb) the small download mode box shows for less than a second, and it switches over to fastboot mode. Does anyone know how I can get it to stay in download mode?
Makes your phone is completely off by holding power down for 15 seconds. Then.....

I know how to do it, if you read the question, you will see that It just closes instantly and goes into fastboot.
Bump
Alright, new problem. I successfully fixed the Download mode problem, but now after trying to flash the stock firmware back onto my g2, i get an error in the LG Mobile Support Tool, image attached. Anyone know what to do?
Hello guys.
So I just flashed the russian Lollipop firmware that came out for the N900 into my device. I followed all the procedure to the letter (I am really cautious and it's not the first time I've flashed stuff); went to download mode, connected my Note to the cable, added the MD5 to Odin and started flashing. The procedure finished and the phone restarted, but I got a black screen after the "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" screen you get when you start the phone, but that wasn't really the problem since I read that a lot of people got that black screen and solved it by flashing the firmware again. My problem is when I go to download mode (power off the phone then volume down + power + home) I get the "Warning!!" confirmation screen, and then I press Volume up to continue, nothing happens!! Even when I press Volume down (which should get out of download mode and restart the device) nothing happens!
In case you're wondering, I can get with no problem into recovery mode.
Is there a way I can fix this and get into download mode? Maybe a way to get directly into download mode without the confirmation screen (I did read somewhere that holding volume up + volume down while turned off and then connecting the cable to the phone should get it directly into download mode, but that apparently doesn't work for me)
Help would be much appreciated, and sorry for the bad english.
Hello.
I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9500. I tried to downgrade from Lollipop to KitKat using Odin but I messed up in the process of doing so. Now my phone won’t turn on at all unless plugged into the PC via USB cable. When I plug it in, my PC doesn’t recognize it and an error message with a caution sign flashes on the screen. When I try to go into boot mode (holding the Power button + volume down + home) the menu shows up, but when I try to enter the boot mode it doesn’t respond. The only way I can get into the boot mode is when I remove the battery and immediately press the down volume.
Does anyone know what I can do here? Thank you.

Hi,
Do you mean Download Mode?
Could you try to enter Download Mode with battery removed and flash again your firmware with ODIN? Let me know.

Yeah sorry, I meant download mode.
I've tried that method before but to no avail. My phone is currently at the repair shop, hopefully the pros can find a solution to it.
Thanks for the reply
Hi, since yesterday I keep struggling with a phone Samsung Note 4 (SM-N910U) phone I had for a long time but now I said to see what happens to it and I noticed that it's infected with "PornClub" and I keep struggling to get into download mode so I can reinstall the firmware, I tried all variants home + volume up + Power / home + volume down + power, but does not work takes me in a menu Factory Mode and after I see some stuff in Chinese I tried to translate with Google translate But he didn't write anything to download mode just wrote of tests and that's if anyone had any idea how I could get into , if anyone had any idea how I could get into download mode I would be very grateful, Thanks
