Hello. Was looking forward to 5.0 and the fix of the massive memory leak of google camera. But the problem still persists. Could anyone confirm this with the 5.0 update. Took 1 fisheye image and 10 HDR images. And my N4 was crying for an reboot. Despite all apps were closed free memory was only 113 MB. What is to low for the n4 to function normally. Interesting have someone tried to bring the phone to warranty service about this issue?
And it is almost impossible to take photospheres :/
Update was not from OTA., but https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Google camera version: 2.4.024 (1564481-30)

You're likely on a 4.4/kitkat rom, Google Camera was released a couple weeks ago to all nexus and google play edition devices.
It's also optionally available to oem KK devices.
Hi. Few weeks ago I run into a problem, that my photospheres wont upload to google maps any more. It says "Can't connect". Tried mobile network and Wifi, different Wifi still the same. I can upload spheres to G+, but it converts them into very low quality. Tried uploading same spheres with mine Nexus 7 - the same error.
The devices are not rooter - 100% stock. I feel that it started to glitch after updating the camera to new version, I tried rolling back old camera, but still the error is the same.
Maybe someone expierience something simirlar :silly:

After some tests I realized, that if Photosphere is more that 10 mb of size, its cannot be uploaded to google maps, because of some limits. Its quite stupid, if after Camera update, it is possible to make high quality Photospheres which are more than 10mb in size, but its not possible to contribute them to google.
Can anyone confirm this?

even activating the screen rotation
i realized after update to lollipop 5.1.1
Just slap ur phone in the back, sometimes when u drop ur phone from low height, it displaces the sensors, slapping however seems weird, works.
Hi everyone!
I think I found out a sweet deal for a used Nexus 6P. The only catch is the problem seller states that that phone is glitching. It says the icons get weirdly streched out (see pic below), then the phones starts to lag and finally you have to restart the phone. Is this glitch solvable or should I stay from this deal?

Yeah whatever is causing that glitch is more than likely just a software issue. Its a Nexus so a factory reset and downloading the latest stock software or your preference in a custom rom should fix that issue.
Before you exchange money, perform a factory reset and flash the latest factory image, and confirm the IMEI is not blacklisted.
Hey guys, i'm having this issue where my phone reboots when i take a picture and the battery is relatively low, at first i thought it was a battery replacement issue since it seems to be the trend with galaxy devices, however i replaced it and the problem persists, i'm thinking it might be a hardware problem since i'm running stock firmware any help is welcome.
here's a screencap of the phone deets (in order):
model number
android version
android security check-up
base band version
kernel version
compilation number
SELinux status
KNOX version
