Flash a stock firmware from your region to get rid of root and take it to a service centre. Your warranty should still be valid, even with Knox 0x1.

thanks , i flash firmware to stock but in downloading mode knox waranty void is 1
can anyone take picture from downloading mode with waranty ?my downloading mod pics here? my waranty is voided or not in this pic?
I dont think they will check if you have rooted the device or not because it's a screen issue not cpu. Take it to them I'm confident that they will fix it for you without even check for knox.
I have one dead pixel on the fsr left side of the screen. Its very tiny nothing like yours, but still do you think i should replace the device or a dead pixel is expected in such screens?

You can use Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app to check for the Knox Warranty Void status.
No need to boot into the download mode.

I've had my tablet repaired twice with Knox 0x1, it'll be fine.

Hi all,
Recently purchased an International S3 on a Vodafone UK contract.
I was surfing the internet last night and noticed a rather odd mark had appeared on the screen.
Think I might have to send it back as the mark will not disappear and is very noticable on a white background.
It also shows up on all the Red, Green and Blue screen tests in the service menu.
What do you think? The mark is on the bottom left edge!

Hi guys,
Sent this back to Samsung today. Got to be without the phone for a good 15 days sigh!
The company I got the phone with only offer 7 day return policy Great!!
Will be interesting to see if I get the same device back or if they replace it.
Paul
Its not as bad as it looks likes on the Pic.
The photo was taken with an iPhone 4 and the camera of the iPhone 4 has a lens which makes the center of the pic blueish.
Your screen looks a bit purple but every SAMSUNG GALAXY SIII has this.
I see no reason to return your phone.
But does anyone have an idea what that is? It doesn't look like screen burn...what could cause that?

Aerys, Are you not seeing the same mark as I am?
I have no issue with the overall colour of the screen. However, I do have a problem with the horrible piss stained mark that has appeared on the bottom left of the screen!!
Excellent!! Got my phone back today after 8 days without it.
Samsung have apparently repaired it, however I cannot check because they did not send my battery back with the phone!
Nice one Samsung, very proffesional!
To top it off they said a new battery will be sent and should be there on mon/tue next week.
Great! Another week without my phone.
Knew I should of got the iPhone...
I've had my phone a little over a month now and I've never experienced that. I also heard that the led fatigue issue wasn't so dangerous on the S3 as it was on the Galaxy Nexus and previous sAMOLED screen devices.
i had some similiar screen problems so i changed my s3 three times and all of them had the same problem with the screen so i got my money back and now i am wating on the Note 2

Within 3 days of owning the note i have burn in already how is this possible. when the brightness is on the lowest setting and your on a screen with a black or grey background you can easily see back scribble marks all over from when i was in s note just drawing lines everywhere playing around. Its not like i drew them and just left the screen on for a day to burn it in either

The best thing you can do is go to the service center or return the phone where you bought it.
Samsung Service is really good and they replaced my hard bricked Galaxy Ace's motherboard for free under warranty.
I dont know what you mean by "They don't support International devices"

Take your phone then to seller who sold it

i asked amazon but i dont want to return it and be without a phones for 2 weeks. they told me i should buy another one then return this one for a refund. the notes on amazon are not fullfilled by amazon now so if i get one through another dealer and theres a problem i just dont feel like dealing with them for a refund
Well, even if you returned it to Samsung for repair, you'd be without it for a few weeks, so your choice really is quite simple.
Put up with it, or return it.
R U sure its burn in..its look like "screen bleeding" to me..

daft suggestion but have you tried cleaning the screen?
it doesn't "burn" like a crt so you shouldn't see it when dark if there was a problem.
could it just be grease marks?

yeah its not the screen its clean as could be. i downloaded a screen burn-in tool and when it cycles through the colors and gets to red. u can see where the marks are but there blurry almost like they were bleeding. but all other colors u cant see the marks. but if i open up a black screen and turn the brightness down u can clearly see the black marks from when i was just scribbling lines on s-note. its def in the screen its not marks its burnt in
heres another pictures taken in the dark with a greyish background with the lowest brightness
Don't worry about the black dots, because that's a common problem for amoled screens. I also have it on my s3 that I have changed 4 times because of this problem. But sometime you can be a lucky and get one without this issue.

Hello
Recently i bought the Samsung note 3 Model no N9005 from dubai. But the other night before going to sleep i put my phone under my pilow and while i got up in the morning i saw that my phone was very hot and the battery level was to 17%( it was 98 % before i slept) and this bright line was on the screen from top to bottom. I attached a picture of it here.
I sent the phone to the samsung customer care but they told rather i dropped the phone on ground or i put pressure on the screen. They are asking freaking $250 to replace the LCD.
My question is that the glass that covers the screen is gorilla glass 3. How could little pressure of pilow can crack it ?
What should i do now? They are saying this bright line will eventually get dark black and cover the whole screen.
Should i change now or wait till the line gets dark then repair it?
Suggestions please.

They are saying that i have dropped the set or i gave excessive pressure thats why the LCD broke. What should i say to the Customer service?
They are also saying they tested my phone with a machine that says this set has been dropped. Is that really possible for a machine to tell?

yeah it s possible to discover
if the screen was faulty from factory so thr s no evidences of pressure and etc on another elements of phone (behind screen)
but if this issue caused because of pressure by user (you) the pressure can effects another elements.
if u r sure this is faulty from factory u must ask them for result of their machine and something like that to help u to prove u r right.

They already tested with their machine but i didn't get the result.Should i ask for it?
They warned that this line may increase and damage the whole screen gradually,is that true?
they asked $250 for replacing the original LCD, should i change it or wait to turn that line black?
What can i do to prevent from this type of accident? Get steel back cover?
A lot of questions. Can't express how much pleased i will be if u kindly tell me what to do.

Check this site: http://thedroidguy.com/2014/01/distinguish-fake-galaxy-s4-83885#Xq2rAIk7VbXfloiY.97
In short: Does IR work? NFC? How thick is the volume rocker? Does it feel solid enough? Is screen resolution as high as S4 original?
Looks likea a real one. But if something sounds too good to be real, its not.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using XDA Free mobile app
It looks like a clone from the pics. I'm comparing my white S4 to your pics and there's a bit more bezel around the screen on the left and right than my phone.
Also that lock screen just doesn't seem right...
I've handled a few clones and the first thing that gives them away is the Samsung logo at the top of the screen and the Samsung logo at the back of the phone cover.
Samsung quality control would not allow there phone to leave the factory with such poor print of their logo.
Inspect the front logo writing closely and you will notice it's not perfect especially the A and G (the G looks like a C almost).
Also the logo at the back suffers from the same poor print. I noticed your logo at the back is missing letters, not a good sign...

Just press volume down+centre button+power button.
If something comes up in Chinese or something like that it is fake.
And if a yellow triangle comes and says press volume up to continue..and when you press volume up it mentions your model number with Knox warranty bit and status and stuff..it is real.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using XDA Free mobile app
It's certainly fake.
The corners are less rounded than the real one, the generic fonts on the lock screen are not available on the S4, why is the status bar green?, the bezels look a bit off and finally, unless you're using a wide angle lens, the S4 in your photos look a bit shorter than the real one.
thanks guys for the replies :good:
yep it was a fake phone, i searched well on internet for a similar looking lockscreen and found that its just a chinese copy and there are so many out there so be careful for that!

Hello brothers i have been using note 4 910c for some time now but recently i m facing this issue with back camera. U can see in pic attachted. The line appear in only dark environment in night or in doors not in day.or well lit area. they also appear in pics.
Things i have done so for to fix it.
Reset to factory settings serval time.
Changed from stock rom to custom glamor s6 rom. With stock kernel.
Use third party camera apps.
Cleared cache serval times.
Nothing helps. Till now so i posted here.
One thing more this is my third note 4 910c
The first one had no issue i sold and
Got a brand new one and when i opened the box it had this issue pink and purple lines so. I return it and they gave me a brand new one. Its been 4 months now and recently. The same issue appears in this one.
I cant replace it. Coz its not coverd in warranty. Anymore it in international warranty.
Things i think r related to my issue camera firmware or kernel.
Also i have never droped my fone. Fone has no physical damage of any kind.
Any kind of help would be much appreciated.
Anyone who is facing same issue plz post here.

Water damage to the camera
A bit of a late post, but I had this exact same issue on my note 4 right after it got water damaged. I bought an armband sports pouch for my phone so the water damage incurred was from my own sweat due to my Jogging. I put the phone in rice for three days and it went back to normal with no more camera issues. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that maybe the link to that issue is water damage and maybe all you need to do is leave it open, battery out, stick it in rice and let it dry for a couple of days. I never though that sweat can water damage a phone so even if you know that you haven't splashed it in water at some point. There could be small unnoticed factors that may cause it. Cooking while the phone is next to you can cause water damage because of the steam from the pots. Taking a shower while the phone is with you in the bathroom is also not good. Think back. Try drying it up. Hope this helps
