I just saw on samfirmware that there is uploaded a new version (I5800XWJPI)
Has anyone tried it yet?

XWJPI is an official update for Greece too,through KIES.But needed factory reset after,but i don't know why.
Data were kept but the phone was really unstable before factory reset.

Sooo.. you stay with JPI? Can I apply your theme in it?

I wanna flash this rom 2. i want my own tweaks and stuff in it. but i've got a few questions. do i have to deodex it to be able to install themes and stuff? and does 5 lockscreen mod and extended power menu work? those are the things i really want to know thanks in advance. and are there alot of changes in bootloader? i dont really like flashing a bootloader

In india DDJP4 is the newest rom.
1.Camera crash bug is fixed.
2.in camera settings there is a new gps option to enable or disable geo tagging.
3.it seems less laggy than any other previous roms.
And there is the sound distortion bug when screen is unlocked.
But we can get rid of this by using fugumod kernel.

XXJPQ up now

Flashed this rom 36 hours ago., and fully charged it. 30 hours of regular use with calls, meessaging, music, GPS, setting up my settings and syncing, downloading my apps from the market and trying out the cam etc etc.., the battery is down to 15%
GPS lockes in seconds, new market app, new Google Maps, (not the newest but newer than all the other roms).
Rooted, but no custom kernels nor themes. No lag what so ever and no noices in calls or in music. followed claknov's tips and deactivated powersave and screen sounds made the GUI much more smoother.
i <3 this rom. will upload some screenies soon.. (coz i found the font to be a bit more clearer than earlier but it could just be in my head)

There is no app for radio included. Try install it yourself, Spirit or Sprint FM, it is here on the forum somewhere

Everything works but its the first version, judge yourself.
P.S. it uses battery less than aurora

UI sometimes is a bit laggy, but in general it's ok. 3D games run as hell well
Quadrant gave me more points than it had given running ICS 2.02

tested yesterday; nice ROM as usual, but, as usual, too many chinese items... Even after setting language to Italian, still getting too much English (acceptable) and too much Chinese. Yet, all known bugs still present, most annoying the inability to turn on the WIF Hotspot. So, for the moment still sticking to Aurora 2.02, at least it is not in chinese!

I'm running miui 1.12.16 (olso with kernel 07/03/2012 audio fix) and all working perfect (battery life, performance, etc.), no one application in chinese. Italian translation very good.

If comparing overall speed of this rom or aurora with CM7.2.0 what can you say? Because when I came back from Aurora to CM7.2.0 it was so BIG difference in performance, CM7.2.0 fly like a rocket comparing to any other rom, so I'm sticking with CM7 until ICS will be polished like CM7...

First try kmicic v5;
- notification label not in order
- when i boot to recovery, it automaticaly backup and convert to ext4
- camera autofocus, but the result blur
switching to kmicic v4.5 now, seem have better respond and boot quicker from kmicic v5
will report back...

okay im waiting for comment Kmicic v6 will be based on value pack and new orange theme.

Been using Kmicic v4.5 about a day now.
No problem so far , its fast and responsive.
And i like the wallpaper .

Thank you for your reply. It seems this is not chinese supported. I'm using ICS4.0.4 currently. But I like to try some novelties.

I can try to install this launguage in my ROM. Maybe I will give a patch for all roms or I put this in my new ROM Kmicic v.6 which coming soon

I have your Kimicic 6.0.2 rom which I installed after CM9 RC1. I restocked by overcome guide and so I have their kernel 4.0 (2.6.35.7). I read that you suggest koxudaxi and I have now downloaded zimage-eur-3.0.7 - is this the right one and should I install? My tablet is anyway running very well much better i think than on ics. I have gt-p1000 my first android for two weeks so am not very certain. Thankyou for your reply and for your rom that is very fast and very nice in orange : )

I downloaded and installed the Kmicic6 Rom Beta and decided to give it a try.
I must say if your Beta's are so good then I can't wait for the production release !
The Tab runs smooth, faster than on the stock ROM.

[New Rom] Qiss Me Oficial HD2 Rom [betta version 9.21] [Sept 21]

I was reading Chinese xda website and found Qiss Me rom which supports hd2.

New official betta version supports clk bootloader
I found Native Sd version on xda.cn website ( 9.14 version ) which also supports clk version.
I also made (changed files) Native SD version for their new betta release 9.21 which is not on xda.cn
I sent them an email if i can share their rom. If yes i will upload the links of Native SD version.
For now, only MAGDLR users can use that rom because it is on their official website.[ new Official beta suports clk ]
It is Chinese Taiwanese and English version but i think it is possible to translate to others.

I checked my rom takes 209 of space but 220 is saver

I was able to boot on clk. Here some screenshots. It is like a mix between ics and miui.
For some reason, those developers are using Dorimanx ICS kernel. It is their default kernel.

When I had that it was English word on the left picture (because i'm in US).
So, you should type in that yellow word to that verification box. That picture is not just an advertizement it provides verification word.

Can somebody take a screenshot to show where to change language option?

No multilanguage support. Ask them to support multilang. [email protected]. It is official edition so they should help I guess.
Try to translate your letter to Chinese or Taiwanese. I dont know if they speak English

Official Qiss me team didn't use Native SD method.
Chinese or Taiwanese xda.cn developers modified official Qiss Me rom to support Native SD method.

I figured it out, I meant where the option to change language was because it was in Chinese when I first installed it

ok. it was automatically in English after 5 min. I don't know why you got Chinese.
For other then English languages you can use some locale apps
p.s. It is only ics rom which supports 720p and ics camcorder also works well.
I am checking HWA disable app right now, i am sure i will run it with some small modification.

Is the magic for the 720p decoding in the kernel or the rom? Dorimanx kernels have been broken on my HD2 since 5.7/5.8. Always get boot loops on them. Have formatted, task29, magldr and clk. I've heard it's some sort of io incompatibility with a few number of hd2s that he never got around to fixing.

Sorry, but cant check right now because i am using miui 2.9.21 ics also from Chinese website.
I think it will work with other kernel but not sure. I used securt/tytung kernel myself but i forgot to check 720p video with that kernel.
