Issue is back lol.. Anybody having this issue?? Lagging Bluetooth mouse cursor
yes my Microsoft notebook mouse 5000 is painfully slow but my Bluetooth keyboard with touch pad works great. No idea why one works but the other does not. At least i know its not a Bluetooth issue.

How'd you get that mouse to connect? I tried at least 10 times, just refuses to connect for me.
After I clicked sync button on mouse I clicked button on bottom of NP then I used my keyboard to exist sync screen. It was the only wway I could get it to stay connected.
Could be interference. I get this with my mouse at times where its jittery and laggy. If i move closer to the player it clears itself up.

What do you mean by "clears itself up"? I hold thee mouse just 5 cm from the device and observe this issue.

Just for curiosity I connected my bluetooth mouse to my Tab (P6810)... and not expecting much, a little blue pointer popped up in the screen, that was amazing, I didn't really expected that! It's extremely useful when you are using text editors, word processors...etc.
It's not perfect anyway, the wheel doesn't work, but you can click (hold) and move up and down in a document for example, you can double click words to select them, you can click (hold) and move the mouse to change to your left/right home screen, it's fast and very responsive!
Another thing that doesn't work is the right click which is ok because there's not such a thing on android anyway....
I don't think everybody knows about this, try it and share your thoughts!
I'm using a Logitech BT mouse V470 which is the best I've ever seen out there.

I'm currently using a Kensington SlimBlade Trackball Mouse, which works pretty well for me. The trackball includes both vertical and horizontal scrolling. Does the V470 do horizontal scrolling as well? What's the difference between the V470 and the Logitech Tablet Mouse?
I have a Kensington slim blade mouse with its own dongle. I plugged the dongle into the usb OTG connection but it isn't working - do you have the type without dongle?

Correct. Mine is Bluetooth, so no dongle.
My logitech USB mouse with the dongle works just fine with my tab, using the USB connector to the tab. It worked on my S2, so I would have guessed it would work on my 7.7.

EDITED:
Sorry, I just got home and yes, the V420 does have horizontal scrolling... I never really used that option, only the vertical...
Anyway, they don't work in my Tab
Logitech tablet mouse? Wow.. I'm going to check that online....

The Logitech I have is an older MX mouse
http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/mice-pointers/mice/devices/5846
got it ages ago for my laptop so 3 years ago.
Samsung should disable USB support for mice just on principle. Bluetooth or GTFO. Having a wired mouse to the 7.7 just looks so...uncivilized.
Okay, my bluetooth mouse with dongle does work! I think my mouse was in pointer mode on my earlier attempt.

Ok, The Logitech Tablet Mouse looks exactly like mine V420 BUT according to customers reviews on Amazon the horizontal/vertical scrolling DOES work on this one....
I'm probably getting one for my tab and keep the V420 for my laptop....

Wait a second... You have a Bluetooth mouse, and your 7.7 has Bluetooth built-in, and you're using an external dongle instead... WTF!? Why!?

WTF with attitude? This particular mouse only works with its proprietary dongle.

Well, because then you have to have a big ugly dongle and USB adapter sticking out of the tab when you could just use the native Bluetooth support instead. It's...displeasing to the eye.
Anyway, the occasions where I bother at all with a mouse for any phone/tablet I use my trusty Microsoft 5000.

Attitude is just a part of who I am. I am not ashamed of that. Some people might not like it, others don't mind. Frankly, I don't really care either way. Having said that, I generally do my best to tell things as they are and offer my most accurate, honest, and unfiltered opinions, expertise, and reviews. Take that for what it's worth.
Moving along, and speaking of telling it like it is, if your mouse requires a proprietary dongle just for it to work at all, then it's not likely to be Bluetooth (just wireless). See, one of the most important points of Bluetooth, being that is is an open standard and not proprietary, is that anyone can use it. Thus, this eliminates the need for the ugly, cancerous, protrusions known as "dongles."
So, either your mouse isn't in fact Bluetooth (in which case, what are you doing posting in a thread specifically about Bluetooth mice?), -or- your mouse is Bluetooth (in which case, I would like reference my previous statement when I say WTF!? WHY!? Why would you totally defeat the purpose of Bluetooth by using a redundant, ugly, external adapter as opposed to the internal and integrated one already in the 7.7?)
Logitech dinovo mini works fine, I can even wake up the tab from sleep! Thanks for the idea!

I'm using a Microsoft BT Notebook Mouse 5000, and it works just fine as well. I just wish ScummVM would have better mouse controls, since that's my main use for a mouse...
Not just mouse
I also have the sam keyboard for this time. its sweet.
i dont travel with laptops anymore, since i just need my email and some MS Office stuff.
i connect the BT mouse, and keyboard when needed and works like a charm!
It looks cool as well, at least in my opinion....
I originally saw this happen on Xoom devices over a year ago, but I never got the Xoom and thus didn't pay much attention to it. Now Android 4.1 is out, and I've taken the plunge with a Nexus 7. But, I still wanted to use it like a laptop in some cases, so today I finally picked up a Logitech keyboard to accompany my existing Razer Orochi. However, there's a massive conflict with this setup.
Every time I connect both of them over Bluetooth at the same time, the Orochi kicks out the keyboard, and it gets stuck in a constant loop of disconnect/reconnect. The mouse continues to work fine, but attempting any input from the keyboard during this will cause the OS to go nuts. I wish I had a better description of the behavior, but basically the app currently in focus will just refresh, quick and jerky.
When I'm in the Bluetooth settings, I can see the Orochi picked up as a mouse, but if I go into Language and Input, for some reason I can still select a keyboard layout for the Orochi. I witnessed similar behavior on my Galaxy Nexus when I paired just the Orochi by itself, basically I had no soft keyboard input while the Orochi was connected because the OS thought it was a physical keyboard.
What gives? How come Android can't differentiate a mouse from a keyboard, when it works just fine in Linux on my desktop?
Anybody else have this happen to them?
That's strange.
I've paired an Apple Wireless keyboard and mouse and it works great concurrently. No issues.

I haven't heard of any issues with Apple peripherals. Just a few different mice that this happens with, such as the Orochi. Reference thread.

I'm having this exact same issue. I actually traded in the keyboard thinking it was defective and have the same problem with another BT keyboard. All of these devices work perfectly fine on my PC and other tablet. Anyone else heard of this or know of a potential fix? It's supremely annoying to not be able to use a BT keyboard+mouse at the same time. I'm using a stock unrooted N7 with the latest update.

Since there is so much confusion about this argument, I decided to start a thread about it.
Please post only native Bluetooth mouse and keyboard working with ouya without need of external receiver.
So far for me I got a mini bt keyboard to work (will update with model name shortly), and no luck with apple Magic Mouse. Please post your experience!

Subscribing to be up-to-date on this.
Another useful info would be posting if these keyboard/mice (specially mice) that work can use its scroll wheels and/or touch capabilities (if any).
I had no problems whatsoever with my hp touchpads bluetooth keyboard paring and using a microsoft mouse and dongle. No setup at all for the mouse when using the usb dongle, the touchpad keyboard was easily paired like any bt device.
Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 - pairs, works no problem, speed and scrolling all fine.
Leicke Sharon Aluminium Keyboard for Samsung Smartphones & Tablets - pairs but doesn't work, connection is constantly lost leading do buffering of the input and autorepeat.
My wireless Logitech MK710 set works just fine with CM10.

I was able to plug in my Logitech Mx revolution wireless keyboard pc and mouse dongle. It picked it up and works with clockworkmod. so not even a need to buy a Bluetooth keyboard. I have several though.
The Motorola bt keyboard and mouse for tablets works great. Had them for a year or more already.

As cheap as it is this keyboard/mouse combo has worked for me. It's a little bit of a pain to get the mouse to pair correctly but it worked eventually.

I've been using the PS3 KeyPad with no issues. I recommend this Bluetooth keyboard because it sits nicely over the face of the PS3 controller and looks really sleek!

I've Googled around on how to get the PS3 Keypad to work and I haven't been able to find anything except how to connect the PS3 controller. I've tried pairing the Keypad the same as the controller and it did not work. Do you have a link on where it explains how to pair the PS3 Keypad? Your help would be greatly appreciated
Apple magic mouse, keyboard, and trackpad all work for me, simultaneously. has anyone noticed, though, that reception is horrible? especially outside of 5 feet?

How did you manage to get yours to work. Mine connects to my Apple bluetooth keyboard, but nothing happens after that.
Just bought a Samsung S Action Mouse ET-MP900D.
Mouse Pairs up then says couldnt pair, restart the player shows it that its pair but the mouse cursor does not show up. Pairs fine with Nexus 7 2013 LTE and my SM-G900V just wondering if anyone else has any ideas?

I had a similar issue with two bluetooth mice. Delete it from the Nexus Player. Pair it again. Continuously move the mouse around until you see it on the screen, as soon as you do, press the Home button. It'll stay paired after that.
I discovered the same trick, if I let the mouse cursor die from the screen before accepting pair the connection was sketchy at best. seems to only happen with the mouse.
Thanks that did the trick
Not able to connect to my bluetooth mouse even with the tricks
Basically, I tried the tricks but no luck (no mouse cursor shown) and also reset to factory default. It didn't work.
Any other recommendations? Thanks.
I assume this issue is with Bluetooth mice without dongles? Because I'm using one with a dongle its been working flawlessly, but thanks for the tip
this worked on razer forge thanks a lot.
