Okay, so I came across this article about the dream smartphone. Basically, it lists all the specs a dream smartphone of 2014 will have.
The Dream Smartphone Specifications:
Display (Screen): 5.2-inch AMOLED 1080 x 1920 pixels (424 ppi)
Camera: 16 MP, 5312 x 2988 pixels, f/2.2, OIS, iPhone image processing (5 MP Front)
Performance: Snapdragon 810 (8core, 64bit), Adreno 430, 3 GB of Ram
Battery: 3500 mAh with Motorola Turbo Charging
Speakers: Dual Front-facing stereo speakers
Design: 5.54 x 2.85 x 0.37 inch (146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm)
Operating System: Android 5.0 Lollipop
I personally would go for a bigger display with the same dimensions if possible. Bigger 4000mAh battery would be nice too.

Here's the discussion of phones...
Meanwhile, in phones, the GT-I9250 is probably the most exciting. It’s said to have a 4.65-inch 1280 x 720 resolution display and a 5-megapixel camera, and run Ice Cream Sandwich on an unspecified processor which, we’re guessing, will be a dual-core. Its sibling, the GT-I9220, is even bigger, with a MID-rivaling 5.29-inch 1280 x 720 Super AMOLED Plus panel, a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, 8-megapixel camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The rumored 1.4GHz GT-I9200 upgrade to the Galaxy S II isn’t mentioned, but the I9210 gets a look-in, with a 4.5-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen, 4G connectivity and an 8-megapixel camera. There’s also supposedly WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Full HD video recording support and a 1750 mAh battery, all in an Android-running 128g package.
The description of the 4.5" phone could be the Celox that was leaked a few days ago. I guess big is in.

Yes it is!
Disappointed with a late pre-order date.

But pretty pricey too - note that they're keeping the Nexus 5 on sale
Seems it's Nexus 6 all along - wonder if there was any deal made with Philip K ****'s estate?
Anyway, these devices look triffic - check the battery on the Nexus 6 - Outstanding!
It's apparently gonna cost $649. I'll pass and get the N9 + N5

I also wanted the nexus 6 but my money does not allow me to ? so for me nexus 9!
Finally
I waited so long for this been rocking this galxy s3 all year waiting for the nexus 6.. I cant wait to have it in my hands...
Nexus 6 is pretty much heavy at 180g when Nexus 5 is 130g. Motorola Phones are usually heavy. For instance, Moto E is around 150g when it is a 4.3" device. I like the build quality of motorola phones though since the motorola L6.

AMOLED. That's a shame. So will burn eventually if I use it in a car for GPS (static screen elements, high brightness, high temperatures)
Specs directly from MOTO's site.
Qi wireless charging enabled! I wasn't excited about a 6 inch phone, but they've got some if the things I've been looking for, battery life (potentially) & Qi wireless charging. Plus the phone can be purchased directly from MOTO.
Does the nexus 6 sport a 64bit processor?

Nope, it's 32-bit since it uses Snapdragon 805. I would not worry about it though, it is a beastly SoC
It says the phone is water resistant
what is the difference between buying from play store and moto webiste?
Surprisingly no. The 805 is 32 bit. However, there's no apps that will take advantage of 64 bit in the mobile world. I expect that to change, but not for a while.
This is gonna be the best smartphone of the year

My friend, nicely done.
Your review was concise but comprehensive.
Your video work and editing was very nice.
I would love to see you video installing TWRP, Rooting and optimizing your Mix.
I think comparison reviews, say of the cameras, call quality, gaming, etc are entertaining
Best

I still have an LG G5 but the screen has separated a bit from the case. I called T-Mo regarding insurance but since they no longer carry them they will replace with a G6 for the $175 deductible. Thant seems like a great price for the recon G6 but I really don't know much about the phone. Any reason/s I would want to turn it down and jump to something else instead?
Thanks...........Marc
in $175 go for it

rset all are same
What I figured. Thanks
I own both G5 and G6. If you like one, you'll like the other. Very similar performance, cameras, size, battery life, and display quality. G6 has the advantage of IP68 water/dust resistance and it's a bit sleeker. I still like the G5's replaceable battery, but you can't have that AND IP68.

I will definitely miss the replaceable battery! I knew the G5 was probably the last time I would have that though. My G5 has been a reliable work horse. Bought it mostly for the wide angle camera. Been waiting too long for Oreo. The GYM for $175 is looking great. Thanks.
