Custom Kernel
What Kernel would you prefer for us to use ? I'm not really a gaming person, but I consider performance as a top priority, I hate lags (don't we all). Right now I believe that the stock kernel is the culprit here, it's draining my battery on a decent level, my wifi is always on even if I leave my phone unattended for hours !
Many kernels that I've seen on this forum have built in CWM, zRam and patches applied to them including pre-applied SuperUser, I am currently using SuperSU, will they affect the current behavior of the ROM ? I've noticed that the RAM is very efficiently utilized in this ROM, applications such as Facebook and Whatsapp have multiple services running, but once I leave them, they automatically start closing down to just the primary service. This wasn't the case in either the Stock ROM or JellyBlast v3. So if zRam comes up in one of the kernels, will this behavior change ?
No transparent v1.2
this' the simplest rom i've ever used. and i do love it..
i've installed all the packages, but there's no transparent in v1.2 transparent package.
i think you have to reupload V 1.2 Transparent zip..

i am very big fan of your rom...tons of thanks ..finally got my favourite best rom. your rom really does exactly what it says which make it very special. really amazed from its battery and performance.

Love this ROM! Have been using it since V5 came out. As far as I can tell, tethering and some camera functions (fish-eye and sphere) modes don't work. Another problem is the lack of functional SamsungApps App. Can't purchase any apps for my GearS. I still get notifications on the watch. Everything else is perfect. Compared to other ROMs I have tried, Shohat RULES! I get similar Antutu scores from all 3, Shohat V5 phones in my household.

I tried installing this on my tmobile s5 and it looks like everything looks good on the install in twrp, however when I restart the phone I just get a black screen and a blue led on the top left. Any Ideas? thanks in advance.

HOW TO FLASH(please follow every step)
1. Download the rom and place it into your external sd
2. backup your apps contacts etc if necessary
3. make sure you have another working rom or nandroid backup in sdcard..just incase your phone screws up
4. now for flashing....reboot to recovery
5. wipe data/factory reset
6. wipe cache partition
7. goto mounts and storage and format system...double check you are formatting system and noth anything else
8. go back and select install zip
9. choose zip from sdcard
10. navigate to romzip file and flash it
11.after flashing reboot..if it takes you to recovery just reboot again
12. first boot may take some time...after first boot it is recommended to reboot again

Any AOSP kernel should work fine. SimpleAOSP just switched to inline kernel building, so we'll see what that entails in the next build.
This rom working great for me so far in Toronto on Telus network. Full LTE speeds where available.
Only issue I've noticed is that Exchange support is broken/missing.
GMail app only allows POP or IMAP for additional email accounts.
Using third party app for exchange works fine though. I'm currently using Nine client without issue.

My GPS doesn't work fine, i see my location after few minutes and i can't naviguate with this. Need some help if it s a problem with simpleaosp?

No on screen buttons or notification bar
I've tried installing the rom a few times now but the problem is that it never has any of the on screen buttons (back, home, recent apps) or a notification bar. I have wiped absolutely everything several times and am using the latest version of TWRP. I have tried with and without flashing google apps. Any ideas? This rom looks really good and I'd like to use it!

HOW TO FLASH
1.before flashing this ROM,your phone firmware should have updated to lollipop 5.0 already
2.need customer's recovery to flash,like cwm, philz touch,etc.
3.download ROM copy to your phone's sdcard
4.just go to recovery to flash the ROM,before,don't need to wipe anything,when installing,select full wipe if you are a newer of my lollipop 5.0 ROM,or select just update from my former lollipop 5.0version.finished,will auto reboot into new ROM.

the zip u uploaded for v1.2 is corrupt. It fails the md5 check and also when u open the file, winzip says its corrupt
