I want to ask you something. I have an app, (file explorer), and I want to add there a theme that will set the activity background to my custom live wallpaper (contained only in app). How can I make this work ?

Try Widget Locker in the Marketplace.

I'll second Widget Locker. And if you want to change the look of the sliders, use 7zip to open the Widget Locker apk and change the png's to whatever you like. I use Paint.net to edit png's, its freeware and works great.
Hey... I think this thing makes phone calls too!
hello,
i wanted to have two different homescreen setup for my x10 . so i wanted to install the same version of my homescreen app twice but off-course with different name , so that i can switch to other setup when i wish.
so how can we do this? what needs to be changed in the apk file?
AND PLS I DO KNOW I GET MANY HOMESCREENS OPTIONS IN HOME APP. AND I JUST WANT THIS HOMESCREEN REPLACEMENT APP (DONT WANT ANY OTHER HOME APP)
i am trying to change the name of the free version of adw .
You have to change the package name in the source. As adw is open source you can do it, but it's a big work

Does anyone know of a way to add wallpapers to the list of provided wallpapers that come with the phone? I don't know if you have noticed but when you use these wallpapers the status bar becomes transparent on the home screens but reverts to normal colour if you use any other type of wallpaper. This would allow a transparent status bar with any wallpaper without the issues that come with forcing transparency with frameworks like 3minit (an ugly grey status bar in apps etc.)

I have tried the transparency in 3mint and it leaves the bar looking a really ugly grey in certain applications. What I'm looking for is the status bar to be transparent on the homescreen in TW but normal everywhere else. The provided wallpapers do this.

I've got it to work, I decompiled the stock SecWallpaperChooser.apk and changed the ones I didn't like for some of my own ones. Then recompiled and it works fine.
Keep original file names and image sizes and make 2 images, one is the thumbnail and one the main image.
I made a new apk icon for the wallpapers too, the image is in the same folder within the apk.

Hi there. I am using the latest Nova Launcher on my Fire HD 10. I have the Mint app installed from the Google Play store. I can add the widget. There is supposed to be a setting IN THE APP that allows the widget to download information in the background, but it just doesn't exist. I have the setting in the app on my phone. Without the setting the widget does not work
Any thoughts as to why it wouldn't show and how I could get it to show? I would take screenshots of what I'm talking about but the app does not allow it
