I Know USA usually sell high end phones with carrier contract
No Contract phone in Online store usually is a low end phone
Any place will sell the High end phone like Nexus 4 with no contract + unlocked and the price US349?

I believe all Nexus 4 phones will be unlocked out of the box.

I am not talking about purchase under play store, as google will reject order
buy from others us online store may be easier
nexus 7 sell at many US online store and same price as playstore
but i don't know the situation in phone as same as tablet or not

but none of these online store sell it,
even they sell galaxy nexus , the price become US400+

I am very interested in this topic, I will come to America from Italy in 2 weeks and I would take the nexus 4, only that I do not know yet where it will sell in stores, any of you know where I can find it? I felt that I could find in the t-mobile store, but it is an unconfirmed rumor.

i hope nexus 4 are not like that

I wonder if MacMall will sell it? I know they carried the Nexus 7, and for many states was tax free and free shipping.

Where to buy a N4 off contract in US?

Hey guys,
My brother is going to the US and considering that the play store is very unlikley that they will have stock, Im wondering if you can buy it from some carrier off contract, or some known store there for off course a higher price.

$--- off contract, 16GB.
And it's not in stock. You might be able to find it in store if you're *really* lucky.
Edit: Never mind, I don't know what happened with T Mobile as now they post it $500 off contract (and it's still not in stock).
Short story: find it one eBay of Craigslist.

Don't know exactly if there's any CDMA variant, but as long as it's a GSM version it should work fine.

Since it's unlocked, the phone should work in any compatible GSM network. So yes.

as long as the radio bands match. i assume gsm bands are standard.

Every single Nexus 4 is exactly the same. Doesn't matter where you buy it from.

I bought a nexus for someone there in Italy, I'm in the us.. May I please ask what ac power adapter you use to charge your phone? Also, is there any online store you'd recommend for accessories etc where I can pay with a US card? I hope you can help me out =)

They're all international Nexus 4s. I don't it matter where you buy it. It'll be the same as the one from another country. My friend has a Nexus 4 from the U.K and it's the same one as if it was bought from the U.S play store.

I have N4 from US... it works perfectly in Italy... I use US original charger with only connector adapter. For accessories just refer to ebay

But what about the power outlets? Does the nexus 4 come with an international charger and different outlet adaptors? I get that it's the same phone, I'm just concerned about the power outlets as they are different in Italy than in the US.

Stock AC charger is a piece of sh1t. Included USB cable is OK. Just get an ac to USB charger for your country. Problem solved. Good day.

I have a question: on the google store, if i press on "shop now", it says that devices are not supported in my country (italy).
Then how am i supposed to buy it? is there any website that offers the same prices? If you order it outside the google store, its price rises from 299$ to 410$ (saw it on Amazon.com) which i think is crazy.

I don`t think 410 dollars (317 euro`s, for the 16GB i assume) is crazy for a high end phone like the N4. The S4 pre-order price of 699 euro`s that`s crazy

[Q] Swappa Prices High?

I was on the Swappa site thinking I might purchase a Nexus 4 for less than retail but noticed the price is way higher than the retail for 16gb version ($349.00) on the Play store.
Why is this?

My guess would be people who can't purchase the device because it's not being sold in their market are driving 3rd party sales prices up

$350 before taxes and shipping. In my state that comes out to like $390.
Also a lot of those may have been put up when the phone was out of stock.
They put what they want to ask on there, so it's on them if the phone doesn't sell.

Might as well get one from the play store. It's cheaper there.

Note 3 Pre order help

Hi, I want to pre order the note 3 and i live in the uk. On clove.co.uk they are selling note 3 for £495 excluding vat. When I put my address in then it makes it £600! But if I choose any other country then it is still £495. Is there any way to avoid this ridiculous vat charge?

Nope, that's how our tax system works. Not charging VAT, or not passing it to HMRC, would be tax evasion.

Yes there is get someone living in vat exempt country to order for you then post to you.lol
Another method you can reclaim the VAT that you pay when you buy goods or services for your business.

You risk paying even more if customs pick it up:

I'm buying this for my mum and she has a hearing disability. Therefore can she claim vat back? According to HMRC you can.

I doubt if a phone would qualify but you never know. You would need to speak to Clove and ask if they are able to supply it zero rated. You wouldn't need to claim the VAT back, the rate would be zero percent.
