How to hide quick connect? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a quick way to remove the " s finder" and "quick connect" bar?

In the mean time i have noticed that on some reviews on youtube they are not present but appear in the quicksettings menu.

Yes would be nice to get rid of that.

[Q] quick settings

i just installed quick settings.its great but one thing is missing.the "3G"toggle to turn it on or off.is it possible to set it?
is there another application like "quick settings" that includes "3g" toogle ?
anyone?
you can have notification toggles in your notification bar or you can have a widget on your homescreen that acts like a button. If you really want a toggle in your quick settings then you can find various roms that will have that feature as well as let you add other toggles and even change the order along with other things.

Hiding of sensitive information!

There is no such option which I found using which we can hide the sensitive information from our lockscreens in the lenovo k3 note. Am I missing something? Or, is there a fix to this problem?
Thank you!
Not sure what "sensitive information" you are referring to. My lock screen shows
notification bar
wireless operator names
time/date
There is an option in "Settings -> Lock screen" to enable/disable the display of the wireless operators.

I meant, in other lollipop devices on the lockscreen we can choose to see only "unread messages" and "content hidden" notifications.. But here all the messages are displayed on the lockscreen itself.. Any way around it?
The only messages I have seen on my lock screen come from the notification bar and there is an option to disable the ability to pull down the notification bar on the lock screen. Other than that I have no other suggestions.

Nougat notification shade...

I have a few persistent notifications in the drop down Tasker, Last Pass, Pebble. Before the update there was no notification showing up at the top. Now it always says "3" with a big arrow. It will drive me utterly insane if it stays like that. Any way to make it not do that? Before how it would only do that if there were too many icons to show individually on the bar. Does it never do that now? It always shows a number instead of showing you which app it was for which was actually useful.
Settings, display, untoggle "only show quantity in status bar "
Fabulous, thanks.

Oh, you probably can only remove that notification with root.
You can hide it by blocking notifications from SystemUI but I doubt it's worth to do so.
Bump
Any updates on hiding the annoying "DND notification" while DND is turned on? I'm now on Samsung Galaxy Note10+
Disabling DND notification work around.
Hey I have found a work around. Using System UI Tuner you can set custom snooze time to the maximum something like 99999. Hope this helps.

Full notifications on AOD?

Hi!
Whenever I receive a notification, the AOD shows an icon for the relevant app.
I would like to see a detailed notification, like who sent the message and a preview, not just an icon.
I've already went into the AOD settings and made sure "hide content" and "notification icons only" are not ticked, but no change.
I have the G950U1, lock screen enabled and AOD enabled. not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Would really appreciate help.
That is how it is supposed to work. There's no official way to show the whole notification on AOD other than if you enable Edge Lighting where it will display a preview for a couple seconds before disappearing leaving just the icon to double tap.
Although I am interested if there's some way to jimmy it to be more useful too.
Well, that's disappointing...
Thanks for the reply.
Go to Settings/Apps/Options (3 dots at the top right corner)/Show system apps. Go into Alway On Display, hit Force Stopp, go to Memory and delete data and cache.
Check AoD again.
Just did what you suggested.
Except for now constantly showing a two overlapping circles and "double tap here to find out how to use AOD", no change...
Now, how do I get rid of that icon and text and get the full notification on AOD, if that's possible?
Edit: got rid of the icon and text, but still no full notification on AOD.
Can anyone share a screenshot of full notifications on AOD?
