Recently (3 or 4 days ago) my note 3 (unrooted completely stock on 4.3) has been warning me that "Unfortunately maps has stopped".
This has happened when i access facebook app, whatsapp app, reminder on google now etc...
Should i uninstall all maps updates? I tried clearing the cache but it was no good.
Thanks in advance

Screen not rotating?

Just noticed the screen on my phone won't rotate, no matter what I do. Anyone else with same problem? . Is this a bug or software problem.

You have Rotation ON and, say, Google maps won't rotate?

How did you fix it? I'm also experiencing no rotation.
Edit: Cleared the cache, all seems fine now...
I'm also experiencing no rotation with some camera apps. It always records video as if I'm holding the phone sideways. I unticked all the xposed modules I have and wipe cached with twrp and the app's cache but the problem still persists.

The previous posts reminded me that Google maps had given me the option to stop the screen from rotating. I tried to find where to turn rotation back on but couldn't find it. So, I went i to app manager in my phone and cleared the cache and data for the maps app.
when that alone didn't work, I restarted my phone. Now rotation is working again. Good luck, hope this helped.

Maybe is illegal to record vertical videos in your country. Just a joke.
Some apps, like Horizon have that feature to record videos always horizontally no matter how you hold the phone.
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
Updated from 4.4 to 6.0.1, rooted, installed Xposed and a few modules, uninstalled and freezed some apps via titanium backup and got that problem, too.
Does anybody have a new idea how to solve that?

Have you read this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/question-mm-users-uninstalling-facebook-t3363211
I read so many threads but none could help me solve the issue.
So I guess the only way is to re-flash the stock firmware and then use another App to delete these facebook apps.
Really annoying as I just finished setting up anything as I wanted it to be.

I think you only need the libgnustl_shared.so file, no need to flash ROM again.
Poorly only libgnustl_shared.so didn't work out for me.
Luckily reflashing the ROM did work out.
I've done some testing removing bloatware and noticed it's Titanium Backup's fault... If I use any other tool to remove bloatware I don't face this problem with the rotation... I had to reflash the custom rom I'm using several times to reach this conclusion...

I had the same problem, & for whatever reason that version of the file failed to work for me. I had success with this one, following the same steps. https://www.4shared.com/file/ivpHIjB...tl_shared.html

"Unfortunately, Chrome has stopped"

Hey everyone,
After flashing Google Experience 4.4.4 on my phone I get "Unfortunately, Chrome has stopped" error when trying to start chrome. In his thread, he said this was a known issue (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/development/rom-google-experience-4-4-4-t2855206) but he said it was fixed in v 0.3 which is what I'm running. I have already tried to clear data/cache and uninstall/re-install updates. Any advice here?

This was happening to me on my Galaxy S3 running the stock ROM, but rooted. I uninstalled Chrome using the Clean Master app and then reinstalled via the Play Store. It's working fine now...so far.

It will work if you set the selinux mode to permissive.
I set SElinux to permissive to no avail. I'm just using firefox for now. No big deal I guess.

I think I may have figured out a fix for you, as I was in the same boat. Check the general thread.

Can't share photos from gallery

After rooting my phone the share button in gallery is not working anymore and after pressing it nothing happens. when I reflash stock rom it's working fine but somehow after rooting it's not working
share button in Google photos and file manager and everything else is working just Huawei stock gallery
Anybody knows how to fix it?
Clearing data for gallery and reset preferences did nothing
Tried safe mode to check if there is any app causing it but no luck too

Did you have installed Xposed? For me, it was Xposed that caused delay in opening the menu.. it took lot longer, about 30-45 seconds, for share menu to appear..
Try TWRP

Hi Ahmedoov
Try installing TWRP recovery (guides are here on the P8-Lite forum) then clear your data/cache partitions, ( Make a backup of everything first , I recommend Titanium Backup)

Thanks for remembering me about Xposed, totally forgot about it
I disabled Xposed and it works so I tried to enable the modules one by one and after 9 reboots finally found the reason. This one caused it

I'll try to contact the developer now. Thanks again

Yes I remember, for me it was Xuimod... I really that app, but it affected the share menu..

After installing xposed, facebook always crashes

I installed Xposed. Now whenever I use the official Facebook app, it works for 10 seconds then closes giving "Facebook keeps stopping". I tried disabling Xposed but it still happens. I tried clearing the cache using TWRP but still same problem. Any solutions? It seems that everything else is working fine and Facebook was fine before Xposed.

Even with xposed disabled it still happens (though I haven't tried UNINSTALLING xposed though that would defeat the purpose...I hope you can see)

I understand the problem, and I've given you the most likely solution. You'll probably get a better answer by posting your problem in the Xposed thread.
