i am developing a health application based on wearable (wear) accelerometer.
i have several questions:
1. can i define the sampling rate that i want the accelerometer to provide ? (e.g. 10 Hz)
2. if the sensor provides 10 Hz sampling rate is it in regular intervals? will all the samples arrive or i may loose some samples?
3. is there a code example for getting accelerometer data from wear to android?
hope someone knows this information since the platform is quite new.

Hi
I was researching the teardown on ifixit on Android watches available mainly the Moto360 and Samsung Gear live 2.
What i have noticed is that, Samsung Gear has 2 processors, a ARM Coretex-M4 & and Qualcomm APQ8026.
Moto360 on the other hand has, a DSP from TI TMS320 & a OMAP3660.
Its obvious that the larger AP (OMAP3660 or APQ8026) does most of the heavy lifting for Android OS and drives the display etc.
Am I right to assume that the secondary MCU would be handling all the low power stuff to deal with the heart rate sensors, gyros, e-compass etc.
Yes ...the secondary CPU is meant for the Heart rate sensor & the pedometer as per my knowledge. Bcoz the primary CPU is not developed for compatibility with PPG sensor, and i think its incapable of doing the calculations according to Algorithm written for Heart Rate sensor.
Hi all,
I am looking for alternatives to the major brands. I would like a watch that I can run with. That has built in GPS and heart rate monitor.
Can someone give me advice?
Hello friends,
Someone can me suggest an smart watch android wear that has 3 functions together: 1 - heart rate, 2 - blood pressure and 3 - gps? Anybody know some smart watch with these 3 functions?
I want track during fitness my heart rate and blood pressure too, with the gps function i want install a app like runkeeper or strava in the smart watch, and track distance (with maps) together the other functions.
in my research I found only these:
model with heart rate and blood pressure, apparently without gps (in some sites, around of $89):
http://www.thlmobilestore.com/thl-h-one-health-watch.html
With the same functions of heart rate and blood pressure, i found a smart watch called>A9S for just $35, apparently with the same functions of the THL h one.
I see this model interesting No1 D6 for $89. this watch have heart rate and gps but do not have blood pressure measurement.
If the ad about A9S as correct, is the better cost X benefit, but i want the gps too, to track with apps like strava or others...
Because i like run and i dont like carry cellphone, i want run just with a smart watch with these 3 functions.
Someone can say if there is any model with this 3 functions together, to do what i describe above?
Regards
Without a pressure cuff, there's no way it can monitor blood pressure.
Just got my Samsung galaxy s8, the heart rate and SpO2 sensor is quite an amazing feature and Samsung FIT can detect quit a lot of stat. Just wonder, if there any more application using those sensors? I just thinking if we can use those sensor, check every half hour, then it can know my calories in take and consume, and also when I do exercise, and suggest better exercise plan for me?
This one uses heart rate sensor

Also works on Android Wear

Interesting, it say it support my old HTC 10 but not Galaxy S8
Can confirm it working on my S8. Got myself a Tickwatch E and works well in that also.
Now I'm looking for some app to use actual SpO2 sensor. Wrote to that developer to see if he / she is willing to upgrade their game, I'd buy it even if it was in app purchase.
Samsung Health is just too heavy on the system and there are better combos out there
I want enable refresh rate to 70hz
Anyone can help me
For redmi note 7 (lavender).
Miui eu 9.12.12
help
Probably, you won't be able to do it. RN7 display refresh rate is on 60hz, by default there is no way to raise it. And as far as I know, there is no possibility to overclock it as you could do with a computer display.
i show some youtuber enable refresh rate to 70 hz for RN7Pro
So i told any developer can make it for RN7
??
I also need this setting very much
I have used couple of dtbo_zip files but it freezes the screen after sometime.
The frame rate highest reached at 67
