Hey guys.
I was searching on internet about Note 4 and I found an article about note 4 and Exynos 64-bit processor. Immediately I jumped xda to talk with you about this. (Link to article)
I've just found a topic here which is nearly same, but I have some other questions to discuss. (Link to the other topic)
So as you guys know there is two versions of Note 4 which is Snapdragon and Exynos. As far as I know Exynos processor version is accually 64-bit. (I'm not sure if it's true or not.) We all know that Snapdragon version is way developer friendly so it will have more custom staff. In the other hand we might have a 64-bit processor which is marketted as a 32-bit processor by Samsung. (Again as far as I understand from the article above.)
So here is my concern. I don't know if devs wil work on snapdragon or Exynos but do you guys think that Note 4 Exynos can be used as 64-bit by the customizations done by devs since Android L supports 64-bit?
Allright guys,
As a lot of users here and all over the net are angry for not having 64 bit software on a 64 bit device, we'd like to make sure Samsung knows what we think of this.
The question is plain & simple: Will you buy Samsung brand for your future devices if they do provide a 64 bit Android for the Note 4 Exynos?
Thanks for your opinion!
Dapollez

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has 13 models and variants. Generally the variants are the same device models with some different features and specifications, as the amount of internal storage, processor or just 3G/4G frequencies that may be different depending on the country the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is available to.
They can be group in the above 3 categories.
More info about that you can find here as well:
https://www.phonemore.com/models/samsung/galaxy-note-4/
The 3 groups above will help you to determine what is your phone's type and accordingly chose a rom for your needs.
PS. those are for the snapdragons models.
those that have Exynos cpu in them, have different letters , too
Hi,
Is is possible to develop ROM for the Note 4 beyond Nougat? Lets say Android 10 for Note 4?
Or is it a matter or hardware?

Note 4 Snapdragon has already android 9. And it depends on the will of the developer to go to android 10 or not. The developer might or might not be able to do it according with the hardware and software limitations.
Note 4 Exynos has HUGE issues for development due to the Samsung proprietary closed sources.
