[Q] Camera out of focus on edges? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Looking at some of my photos, the left edges are usually out of focus in sharper detailed object (such as grass, leaves, etc). Is my camera defective, or is this just the nature of the sensor? It doesn't really appear in close-up shots, only wide area far away ones. The right side kind of looks the same, but not as bad.

Maybe stupid question, but did you remove te protective foil from your lens when you unpacked your new phone? Regards

Yes I did. The only thing I see odd about the camera lens is under the glass, there is a small spec of something... been there since I got it out of the box, but it's not over the sensor so I can't imagine it's affecting anything. Plus it's not in the area where the photos are out of focus.

Visible black line while taking pictures

I've dropped my phone on a soft floor. Now there is no visible damage, but when I try to take a picture with the rear camera, I can see a visible line overlaying my picture. I've included a picture as an example.(http://imgur.com/cJrto2B) How can I fix this? (Samsung Repair C is not an option tho, it is the i9500, while here, in the Netherlands, the only variant available is the i9505)
I am in for any DIY option

Is it a hair in front of the lens? Maybe within the body somehow? Hate to suggest it but does it change if you tap it one way or the another at all?
Nope, the line stays static. The line is just to be a hair. Also, I've tried the 4.3 Camera app, but still persists

Rear camera not flush with back plate.

I was so excited when tracking showed my one+ was delivered yesterday. Then when I opened it up was so disappointed that the rear camera was not flush with the back plate. Left side is higher than the right. With quality control like this how can the one+ be a flagship killer.

That's how it's supposed to be. No one has complained

Ok I guess I'm just too picky.
Lol. When looking at the iPhone 6 or any Samsung phone, this is nothing. I actually find it very elegant.
cant really tell with those blurry pics..
the plate where the camera and flash sit on, its raised from the backing of the phone.. the camera lens and flash sits slightly below the small black plate..
Heres the pic of my phone..
The back is curved. The camera is not.
Wow lol

Washed out colors and details in front camera?

Hello everyone,
Once I had a sony cellphone with the first 1.3 mp camera and the front camera of S7 Edge reminds me of that picture quality. Is anyone experiencing same thing? Any work around for it?

Hello. I see this is an older thread. Yes, I see that the camera is a little bit more washed out than compared to other phones. I've personally been looking for a solution since everyone says that it's the greatest shooter out there.
Look at this sky shot:

}
And the wall on this shot:
I recently found the option in the Pro mode that says: Vivid, which makes the colors a bit more natural (which is ironic, since the phone itself is washing out the colors! Lol).
Have you found a solution? I have my third and final S7E coming today - if this one doesn't work out, I'll try another device. The camera is the MOST important feature for me, especially when paying this kind of money.

Broken rear camera lens on LG G6 - ice platinum

Hey guys,
so about two months ago i have got myself a brand new LG G6 in the really beautiful ICE PLATINUM color, and a little over a month ago i have broke my rear camera lens, completely shattered around the flash and a little over the regular lens,
the thing is i cant find a replacement lens that is actually original or at least looks pretty close to the original,
i have ordered a lens from ebay which looks really good and its actually made of glass, but is simply does not have that brushed metal look the original one has,
if someone has any idea of where i can get one that looks right it would be very helpful.

Look at this :/ I've noticed this a few days ago. Any idea why the photos are so bad? I have the phone or over a year now and camera glass is definetely not clean but i think it was like that definetely for few months now. Phone sometimes was in a case and sometimes was not. 1st photo is from couple days ago and 2nd from october 2017

Looks like skin oil smeared on the lens. Even a small amount can make a hazy photo when the light shines on the lens.

Lens seem to be clear, no visible stuff under the glass. I must add that photos from regular camera and wide are both very bloomy
clean your lense with q-tips and try again it can be you touch your lenses or someone did
