I work for radio Shack and they would have to pry it from my cold dead hands. Also they probably wouldn't want mine considering " bad mother Fu<ker " is engraved on the back. =D

this is what we called stupid population... radio shack is filled with nothing than morons and run by them.. if i see or hear anyone doing this trade.. they have to be crack dealers and needed of crack.. cause no smart person will do this..

I would give them a bricked nexus one for that, but that's about it

I remember my cousin threatened to break my N1 and I was like then you'll owe me like 500 bucks...he was like "please, a new iPhone 4 is only a bit more than 500 no way your phone is worth 500"
granted he was right....on e-bay and craigslist the lowest price I saw was 400...but still...that's 9 months after release and still worth 400 USED...

You can do better - they are going for between $350-$400+ based on condition and original packaging/accessories on eBay.
Am waiting for the new MyTouch HSPA+ to come out. If it is a decent device and not too locked down (although thst will certainly be dealt with here), then and only then would I consider letting go of my Nexus - and certainly not to RS.

I'd never sell my n1. The fact that it's pure android with no manufacturer ui, it gets updates the day that they come out, and google basically made it to be rooted, are all priceless features no manufacturer is willing to replicate. The Nexus One is one of a kind for now.

You know I am almost thinking of preordering this thing. I have wanted a tablet for sometime and I have been looking at the Transformer as my first choice. This however looks like a great device for the price for what I would be using it for. Basically an e-reader, as I already read all my books on Kindle Software on my EVO, watching movies on the go either from HBO Go, Netflix or even Amazon's services and maybe some light web browsing and email.
So the question is, buy it now and have in in November and wait for the wonderful folks here to root the thing so I can run what I want on it OR wait until someone else gets them and puts out a review on it?
hmmmm..what to do what to do...

Do they charge your card if you pre-order? Or does it only charge when it ships out? I'd hate to have $200 something out from my credit card balance for over a month. It wont be out until November (mid).

I could have sworn I've seen Amazon preorders say "You won't be charged until this item ships" but that seems to be lacking for the Fire.
Can anyone that has preordered confirm if they've been charged?

Pre-ordered while in class . Can't wait for this thing to get into my hands. Praying that there won't be a locked bootloader. If not this thing has a shot of running a homebrew Ice Cream Sandwich!

Amazon charges you when the item ships. So if you pre order, you have a couple months to decide what you really want to do.

I just went ahead and preordered one. I just read on AndroidTablet.com that Amazon acknowledged that this device will be easily rooted and that they won't stand in the way of it happening.
I figure I will get it, play around with it while the great folks here figure out the process and then I will decide if I want to keep it or not. For $200 I am not out much and I can give it away as a Christmas gift or return it if I don't like the thing.

DONE! How can you pass it up at that price? And with XDA throwing knives at it..... This is the entry point for E-readers and Tablets....

I ordered a couple for my family. We have the older kindles and it looks like a worthy upgrade.

I ordered one and the new $79 kindle as well. Cannot wait.

I preordered a few days ago. I still have not been charged for it yet.
And I have preordered things from amazon before. They don't charge until the day it ships.

As per usual the U.K has to play the waiting game and will probably be 40% more expensive when it eventually gets here...... Grrrr

No way it could have those specs for $300 when it came out. It was easily a $500 phone at the time. That means it would be well under $200 now, by your logic. Think.

How about these ways:
Camera - that shouldn't be hard. Just have a camera that can actually focus would be great while taking videos
Smaller bezels - I hope, the Nexus 6 has huge bezels which make it really wide, more than it should be
CPU - Even if it is the Snapdragon 810, the gpu is 30% faster. I am sure the overheating issue will be improved upon by now. Could always declock the cpu if needed
Fingerprint reader - Might be really cool, but I can take or leave this
Screen - I was dissapointed in the screen coming from a Note 3 to a Nexus 6. I felt the Note 3 had a brighter, clearer, more vibrant screen. Even if the resolution was lower.
Flat Back - Man it drives me nuts that when I put the N6 on the Qi charger I have to set it soo perfectly.
Just my opinion though.

there was also a coupon code for an extra 45 bucks off. crazy how the price is dropping so much.

doesn't seem to have much information on what type of warranty this nexus 6 has. I'd make sure you find all the information on that first before you buy. Might be better to go with amazon or best buy for the 50 bucks extra to make sure you get a solid warranty with it. If someone finds the information regarding it on this ebay sale please post it.

Actually I think the black will be better in the long run for cases and possibly skins. Not sure what color skin I do with that blue.

I got mine for $300 too, blue was the only option though. My best buy didn't carry the other colors, unless I wanted to order, which would have taken like 3 weeks to arrive.

for the price it is the best quality/price phone ever IMO

Let's talk about being cheap Lol. I cancelled my wife's phone, and then reordered it, because Amazon drop the price of the white one to $259.99 from $264.99 lol.. I took that extra $5 and bought some of those mirco usb to usb type c adapters so I wouldn't have to by all new cables.

Picked up black one for ,289$ on Amazon next day the blue was dropped down 289$ bummer .
By the way honor website was having the flash sale win 32gb Honor 8 for 1$ Next day was the white 64gb for 1$.
First 10 people who can fill out and submit the order form .Honor has a flash sale for other items daily as well for 1$ . Worth checking out .
