[Q] Wifi Not working - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

Hi,
I have a strange issue with my sgh-i337m. I am currently in India. The issue is with wifi. Here is the issue.
1. I can see all the AP's like other mobiles. I can connect to them and access internet only when the signal strength is full.
If the signal strength comes to fair, the wifi is still connected but i cannot access the internet. If i switch wifi off and then on, i can see the wifi AP with 2bars out of 4, but not able to connect. It shows Saved Secured.
Please help

Connected with WiFi but still wants to connect with GPRS.

I have a wireless network at home.
Although WiFi has excellent signal strength, during browsing it suddenly wants to connect via GPRS.
When I cancel this connection attempt, the page does load, so WiFi is working fine.
Does anyone have a solution?
I found some related topics, but that made WiFi the preferred connection, and that's not what I want.
Because I mostly use GPRS, but on the occasions I do have a WiFi connection, it must use that connection, and not switch to GPRS.
usually its just a quick hiccup in the wifi signal

Click to collapse
Buts its really annoying.
hmmm try the wifi G hack
Go to settings/connections/connections/advance/select networks/and in both fields change it to my isp/then hit ok/ok/ok.
That should fix it-

WiFi Signal without having connected to a WLAN Network?

Ive got a question. I want to connect to a VPN at my university, TunModul etc everything is right. But i need a WiFi connection, so when i want to connect to the Wifi Network, it shows "setting up connection" then "disconncted". So can i just get a WIfi Signal without having connected to the WLAN network? So if you want a connection but you cant use it. I know that this is working for Motorolla, Devices, running android 2.3, so i this just a feature of Android 2.3?

Use LTE while connected to WiFi Camera

So, I recently got a camera that connects to my phone via WiFi to use as viewer. When connected to the WiFi camera, I can't surf the internet. I figured when the phone didn't detect internet connection through the WiFi it would use the mobile/LTE connection for internet. This seems to not be the case. Does anybody know of a way to force using the mobile/LTE connection while the phone thinks it's connected to a WiFi network? Thanks in advance.

Wifi roaming between identical SSID's

I'm trying to figure out a wifi roaming issue I've noticed that the OnePlus 5 seems to have some issue when roaming from AP with an SSID to another AP with the same SSID.
What happens is I see the roam occur (the wifi icon goes from low signal to full signal and with wifi analyzer it shows it's migrated to the new AP) but then the phone seems to get stuck and is unable to send / recieve data.
A quick tap on / off of airplane mode immediately resolves this issue but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this and has figured out which settings on their router the phone doesn't seem to like?
I have other devices on the network and they don't seem to have this roaming issue so it does seem like it's isolated to this phone.
The issue seems to occur most often when roaming from the DDWRT Netgear WNDR4300 (Atheros platform) to the TPLink c20i (AC router on a Realtek platform)
Same problem here. Asus router and asus extender.
Yes, me too. I have a Virgin router downstairs and TP link extender upstairs. When I go upstairs I have to touch off the wifi on my phone for a second and it will then connect.
A bit annoying but generally speaking I am very happy with the phone.
