wonder if these ASOP builds can be used for everyday use

Unfortunately not. They don't come with the necessary modem and camera code. I wish it was that easy to get stock lollipop on here, but at least Sony provides more info than some other manufacturers.

don't worry. we'll get modem and camera from jerpelea maybe not tomorrow, but one day for sure

I would say no I didn't notice anything in it that would do away with hardware keys correct me if you noticed it.I think it is a very very good combination of themes and apps.

Ya, I would so no as well. He never went into Settings>About Phone>Android Version. So we have no proof.
Yea and even if he did that I'm pretty darn certain that can be modified.

Phone Upgrade

Hello all. I am up for a phone upgrade through AT&T and I was wondering if anyone has tried using a Motorola Atrix 2. I am definately going to keep my trusty old X10 as a backup, but I am really wanting to get a dual core phone. The thing that concerns me the most is the camera performance. The camera on the X10 is great. And while the Motorola also has an 8MP camera, I was hoping to get some input from someone who has tried it and could compare it to the camera on the X10.
Why don't you wait for the Xperia ION in Q2?

I might try, but as of today I just managed to put a good sized crack in my screen. It's the damndest thing too - I dropped it less than 2 feet onto the floor..

Had a Desire S and now it's my wifes. Great phone after I put ICS on it.
I had the original HTC Desire before switching to the Galaxy S III.

I remember you couttss99 I had Desire , Desire S ,Sensation and One S all before my S 3 now all gone to that great recycling bank in the sky

I also had a Desire once, and i was actually pretty pleased with it I remember the first day I got it, and it was extremely fast compared to the xperia X8 I had before.
A not-so-techy friend of mine is still using it with some Oxygen rom I installed way back.

Proud HTC Desire User here i still have mines..
yep once a desire owner flashed the day lights out of the poor phone i was always flashing every custom roms for desire.
It was good to have the Desire HD (Had the same specs, board, etc as the Xperia play) so most of the time the developers in the xperia play section were porting ICS from the desire hd.
I was using Desire HD just a couple of weeks ago. Apart from weak battery was very pleased with it. Wanted to buy HTC device, but built-in battery scared me off.
I had the original desire I loved the track pad on it, it would be cool if the button on the Galaxy s3 was a track pad would be easier to navigate

The amount of times I tried using the S3 home button as a trackpad and realised it didn't have one! But got use to it after a while both amazing phones

Ra Ra htc desire, and htc support was great too. Unfortunately now departed (the classic out of the top shirt pocket into the toilet). Sorely missed, taught me much.
I guess I should update my sig now, but im just not quite ready to let go yet. Maybe with time.
Pleased with my samsung i9300.

Ex Desire HD user here - well almost. The American AT&T variant was called the Inspire. Same ROMs worked for both phones (with a minor audio driver change that ROM cooks would bake in).
Still have my desire , rooted , s-off just getting round to flashing jelly bean.
Used it the other day still a fantastic phone and the quality feel in the hands is far better than any of my other phones.
I'll never get rid of it.

Still have my Desire.. had no one to give it to (that would cherish it..) and won't sell it for almost nothing.. so opted to keep it as my alarm clock! Great Phone..
Still own a desire with oxygen rom. And still trying to use S3's home button as a trackpad lol

Android 4.3 coming to Xperia Z

According to multiple sources android 4.3 is coming to our Z. In this article it stated that it will release in the last week from November.
What do you guys think? Will the update get the Honami UI and hopefully some camera improvements?

Hope it will have honami launcher and camera improvements.
I think they should simply skip 4.3 and give us 4.4, I love the new features,
HTC One is getting within 90 days.

I believe that Sony still wait till 4.3 stable just to make convinve, before they build their own, and launch to the end user..

Ha..i can see them "wow look at this nothing has changed I'm so enjoyed"
A lot of people will resent Sony for pushing the Z1's ui onto the Z but fortunately I'm one of those people that are in love with it. I'm already running the Z1's launcher on my Z but I really like the other UI improvements like battery icon and white themed settings etc. Since my phone's relatively new I won't be experimenting with custom roms just yet so I'm really excited about 4.3.
Additionally from past experience with 4.3 (via CM 10.2) on Xperia T it is faster than 4.2.2 so I'm wondering what that would mean for my Z that's already flying through everything I throw at it.

The worst thing was the Honami's camera
I don't care that much about 4.3 as it's a minor change. The thing I'm hoping for the most is kexec kernel. If the awesome devs here manage to get it working - CM here I come. If not - well, it's not a big deal for me.

Yay.... But I'm using PAC ROM. But it is 4.2.2 though.
